@@chissyrosie15 I can't allow her to be too stupid. I have a vested interest in making sure all of Africa rises. Nigeria is the biggest disappointment so far.
Uche, wow! Nigerian government should just make you the ambassador of Nigeria in China. I think you’ll do a better job than whoever is there now. Girl, you represent well, you are an embodiment of talents, beauty in and out, intelligence, self-confidence, charisma and poised. Whoever raised you, did a great job.
No, Nigerian govt will never do that bcos she is Igbo. Nigeria takes no pride in excellence, but in mediocrity, as long as you know someone and u are not Igbo. That’s why her geniuses and professionals are fleeing the country in droves. We have seen what transpired in the recent appointments. That’s the level of hopelessness we have sunk. If an election wld be stolen with such impunity and given to an extremely corrupt and sick old man, what can’t the hopeless country do? But, very soon, Uche will go places. Wait until America gets hold of her and u will see where she will be.
That will never happen. Because she is not a Fulani or quarter system educated. Nigerian government doesn't want a person who is too educated like her. Nigerian government only want people who are foolish and non educated.
I am super proud of you Sista. I am currently teaching myself basic Korean & Spanish 😢 it is so hard but seeing you helps me to not give up and keep on going. 🔥 ❤❤❤
Uche, good to see nice people like you in China. As a Chinese overseas, I enjoy meeting people of diversity, we can always learn from each other. It makes life meaningful and colorful.
This is exactly my point. This is why I really struggle to understand the racism so many people around the world feel towards my people and treat us badly simply because our skin shade is different from theirs. The absolute, ignorance and small-mindedness that are involved here, is through the roof! It really is! There are billions of people of colour who are smart, intelligent, gracious, kind, loving, trustworthy, hardworking and willing to help others in need; no matter the colour, just like Uche would, but as we speak, these very same good people have just experienced some form of racism. The sad thing is, the energy they took to say nasty racist remarks, could have been used to say something kind and complimentary or used to ask questions about their Country or used to learn something educational about their culture even instead. Thank you for your comment. It is so important that people like you speak up and let others learn that not all Chinese people hate black people.
Lots of Chinese here in Antigua! Not friendly at all, not willing to teach their language, don't even say hello.yet they have businesses that we support i asked one Chinese girl if she would be willing to teach me her language, she quickly said NO! I was shocked and embarrassed! But i know not all chinese are like that people are people wherever you go.
@@lettiegrant9447 This may come as a shock but in some places in the world black people are not treated with respect. In China this was not the case and I am happy to see that
As an African from South Africa I'm really proud of you coz you motivate a lot of our children to go out there and learn about other people's culture and language... Aśe my sister👊
My sister you made us and me proud in this video clip! You not only represented Nigeria but you represented Africa at home and abroad, with your very elegant self. I am very pleased that you did not wear a shameful wig - natural beauty is the best, anytime and every time. Yes, I saw the glowing love of country in the Chinese people eyes. I am sincerely looking forward to the day when l will witness such joy in our people's eyes. Stay strong and bless. Shabaka: 03/12/2023 - Dominica, Caribbean.
Hi, I was born and live in the United Kingdom, London. My parents were from Dominica; Mum from Soufriere (meaning Sulfur mine) and Dad from Roseau (meaning Red Hair), the Capital. My eldest sister intends to live in Dominica for good next year.
But she does not know other languages in Africa. So in this instance i can only say she represented nigeria not other african country as i am motswana in africa and she does not coverse with it.
I love the shock value of seeing people’s reaction to someone who doesn’t look like them, speaking their language. I’m American. My nephew from NYC is married to a Chinese woman. They have 2 young daughters and live in China. Chinese is one of the languages he speaks. Also, my son has visited China twice. He loves Asian cuisine. Your food looked so good. You did a great job, Uche!
@@sherylgriffiths715Africans are super intelligent. Many grow up multilingual speaking their Native language plus the colonizers language ( English or French or Spanish ) plus local Pidgin. Do not forget the greatest school in the world was in Timbuktu ( present day Mail ).
There’s no ‘Chinese’ language. There’s mandarin, Szechuan, Cantonese etc. Chinese languages differ in intonation and is where the difficulties to learn it are.
The costumes are so beautiful. When asked how the tea tasted, your face said it all. You handled that awkward situation very well. I would love to go to China. The language is beautiful. The people are so kind and friendly. What a great adventure you are blessed to have.
@@ucheobuekwe I love watching black women explore their options all over the world. Asian countries are refreshing as we are still new to them. Thanks for this content
You looked beautiful. Thanks for being such a beautiful and graceful representation of Africa and African peoples. Your hair looked beautiful as well. I’m so glad you didn’t wear a wig. Our hair is beautiful in its natural state and I’m always happy to see us rock it and be confident in our god given attributes.
I loved everything ! The tribes, the scenery ,the high speed trains that China is expanding everywhere and soon to be here in Thailand where I live (I'm from England) . Your Chinese language skill has opened up many doors , opportunities and new friends that wouldn't have been possible without. Subscribed 😍👌
I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog!!! GO UCHE GO! You are Smart and entertainment and you are also a graceful representative of Nigerians in China! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🥰
Uche, you're looking so gorgeous with your natural hair. We Africans are beautiful people. We must love ourselves the way we are. Why should we want to be wearing other people's hair and want to look like others. Wanting to look like others is a reflection of inferiority complex. We Africans have absolutely no reason to feel inferior to anyone. Great job, and continue to represent Africa well.
There's another way to look at wigs, though. They're a fashion accessory, like a hat or a scarf. Sometimes, I wish I could wear a wig once in awhile, but it's not possible for me. I wear my hair natural ('locs), and my hair drags the floor unless I pin it up. While I love and am proud of my beautiful hair, I am sometimes saddened by not being able to wear short hair or other "hats." 🥴😂😉
Your hair was perfect. You definitely looked bright and elegant. This looked like so much fun! The girl who first greeted you from Libo village seemed genuinely interested and warm. I love to see that. I would be so gratified to see and learn about the different villages and traditional dress.
There is nothing wrong with learning languages and engaging with other people. That is HER choice. She's living HER life the way SHE wants too. A certain group of people were able to colonize and conquer because they learned other people's languages, culture and new ways of doing things. And then there's another group that mostly can only speak one language and find themselves locked out of the job market because of lacking language skills. We should not limit ourselves. The world is vast and beautiful. Travel, learn and enjoy.
African were once great people, breeding with arabs cause us to loose north Africa, it was our beautiful women along with arabs Neanderthal who people north Africa. All of north Africa has the Neanderthal gene, the Neanderthal gene developed in European caves, while we building pyramids.
My favorite part was how welcoming they were to you especially when they found out you could speak their language. As a black american, that is comforting to know if me or my daughter ever venture to China! :)
Uche, you are our pride. Such a pretty and intelligent girl. I bet all those Chinese want to be just like you. The other poster is right; you SHOULD be our ambassador. 😍🥰🥰
Your video was in my feed and I wanted to say thank you bc it shows respect to and for the country that you are in when you can speak their language, it brings awareness, understanding, and a type of unity that transcends race and ethnicity.
Zuò hǎoshì…doing good Uche from 🇳🇪 I’m watching in the 🇬🇧 You did good girl✌🏾😉 Proud to see young black personality being diplomatic As an elder 🇯🇲 women 😉 communication is key! Best part speaking with Chinese people one by one helps to change outlooks the world over.🙏🏾🌍
The best part of your video; for me, is seeing you been an Internationalist, and representing in such an immersive way. Keep doing it. You have an excellent presence in front of the camera. Definitely a future in broadcasting for you. 😊😊 ❤❤
Wow! Nice content, Uche. The best part for me is your impressive inter-personal culture. Everyone was excited to engage you. Thanks for sharing, and keep being a good ambassador for Nigeria. God bless you.
You're an inspiration to me as someone who wants to do foreign service like diplomacy etc. love seeing people briding cultures and teaching others about us.
Thank you very for sharing your experience. They are smart to pick u cos u really stand out plus ofcourse quick to catch on. Looking forward to your next posting. Tq again.
This was really cool. Thanks for sharing your experience, you did great! I had literally never heard of the Libo people prior to this video. Loved how proud they were of their culture!
Fantastic video! 350 miles an hour! WOW! So jealous of your ability to learn Chinese, but you have given hope that I may one day learn it. Great stuff! Peace and love
I just came across your channel, and have subscribed. It is incredible how beautiful, genuine, and intelligent you're. You said you were emotional seeing how attached they are to their country. I felt emotional and deeply connected to you watching you for the first time. If you need any support, guidance, or just want to talk about life generally, feel free to let me know. I am proud of you.
I love the way you handled the whole situation keep up the good work. It’s wonderful to see young black ladies take the next step. You looked great have a great day.
Excellent video and experience. Thank you for your great, poise and elegance in not only representing your people of Nigeria but also of other Afro-centric peoples. It's so important because no matter what Afro-ethnicity you are, the world has a tendency to "Lump" us all together thus good representation is a plus no matter where we go.:) Keep up the wonderful vids.
Well done Uche. I was happy to see the local Chinese costumes and dance. I have seen a bit of it in their movies and seeing it in their everyday life is beautiful and authenticates their movies on RU-vid.
Uche, it looks like you will have to start learning about how to communicate on the set. It is a great moment, and you sure did an excellent 👏 job throughout our journey. The best part of it all is knowing how professional you should be in terms of dress code. You also smashed that, too. I am very grateful you popped up in my notification again. I like what you are doing and I solemnly urge you to continue doing the great job you are doing in China 🇨🇳. I have always loved China 🇨🇳 and wish to visit it one day. My breath will bear me witness about what I have just said before this. Thank you very much, and have a great day. You have made my day ❤️ 💕 💗 💛 ♥️ 💙 ❤️ 💕 💗 💛
I’m happy they’re so welcoming to you. I’m also envious of you because I couldn’t get on that train I’m so claustrophobic and Mandarin is a language I really want to learn, especially the music love it.
Good one,Uche. You look good and gorgeous in your outfit and hairstyle. Like the fact that you could speak Mandarin fluently. You're likely to be a fast learner. I enjoyed the part that has to do with those beautiful old couple (the woman with long hair). I also love the song and traditional culture display. I just liked your content and subscribed
African people have always traveled the world and enjoyed not only experiencing different cultures but also respecting the contribution of all people. You do Nigeria proud.
Love everything about this video. My mother-in-law who is Anglo Saxon has been to China several times and always considered a favorite of hers. Love the costumes, singing, all of it. Thank you very much for sharing this video with the world. From the USA.
Uche, I am so proud of you! You go girl ....way to represent! You succeeded in looking well put together, polished & professional! You were a main attraction! My family is historically from Ika (Now Awka in Anambea State). I was born in West Germany to American parents. I have been to Nigeria. I went on a medical mission trip to 8 towns in 8 days. I went Abuja, Awka & to the Onitisha Market too. So, I felt you were speaking to me personally! ✨🙏Proud of you!✨😢🌹
that was a great video again. i loved all. you know i experienced the same during my stays in china. people always were welcoming and so curious but also proud of the develpment of the last decades. they let me feel like at home. i hope to come back soon again.
Girl im sorry but the scenes of you trying them teas really got me over here failing to breathe 😭😭 don't get me wrong they actually might have tasted fine but it was your unsure face stepping into the situations that did it for me!! LMAO
I love it! I think this is wonderful and they were so welcoming. I love traveling and visiting other cultures. People have always been kind. thank you for sharing and I subscribed.
This wonderful. Knowing another language opens doors and windows in another culture. It is such an adventure. My experience in countries outside of the US has been transformative. People are generally interested in where I am from and how did I get there and are pleased that I know their language. Uche, keep traveling and growing. Peace.
Great to see more Blacks from all over the world being invited to participate on Chinese television in positive ways. It was very different 45 years ago when I lived in China as a language student at Beijing University and Taiwan National University...even when I visit now, there is always a shock that someone can speak Mandarin. Also, your other video about some people thinking you do not understand their often biased commentary is very true. A few choice words usually causes them to lose face. Continued successes.
