@@kookie_krissy6728 she’s saying that a grown woman can dress like a little girl. That’s their choice who is she to tell that, no one asked her. And for her convenience it’s called "soft or kawaii” aesthetic.
Jade I said all aesthetics, not just soft girl. some of the comments said “I wanna be a soft girl, but I’m black” Trying to explain that they felt that you had to white
Olivia Nichols I feel like there are black girls who have a soft aesthetic but they don’t get shown as much in media. For example on the explore page I mostly see white soft girls
I'm black and I wanna be a soft girl soooo badly. Edit:1Oh my lord 1.7k likes that's the most likes I have ever had. Edit:2 the reason I can't be one is because I don't have or wear makeup or own any makeup but thank you for the nice replies 😊 Edit:3 darcei looks like a soft girl queeen like damn that makeup is good. Edit:4 oh my goshhh 2.3k likes howwww
SiS pls do a Victorian Era themed makeup!!! With all of those makeup wig costumes and whatsoever hahah. Just thought it would be interesting since at that era everything had to be as white as possible😶
@@thatsacloud I'm guessing they want her to make herself look white which is kind of.... The opposite of blackface? Yeah, sorry if I'm wrong but only the richest of the rich in the Victorian era would powder their face and stuff. It wasn't common to wear make up back then. But the clothing is interesting, but to be accurate you'd have to spend a lot of money and I don't think darcei is about that
back in my day, a lot of these stylistic elements were considered overtly Harajuku street fashion-inspired, and it's sort of interesting to see the evolution
Same! I’m turning 25 in December and I had no idea what any of these e-girl, VSCO, etc terms were lol. I can’t believe at this age I already feel like a 40 year old with all these teen trends.😩
Me, a predominately dark fantasy and Strega goth, is realizing the phase she went through in high school and part of college can be labeled as "soft girl"😂😳
@@Bugs_bunnie43 i know! Pastel colors are sooo cute i use them every now and then but i would love to see her in a dramatic goth style :D just for fun ^^
When you said, “I know you’ve been binge watching my videos for the week so you might as well just subscribe” -I felt that. Why you gotta call me out like that? 😭😂 I just found your channel today, and I already love your personality and the videos of your’s that I’ve seen! And I am about to subscribe btw. You’re just so fun and real, thank you for the wonderful entertainment! 😚♥️
Yaaas I’m early also I’m Asian and have brown skin and if I want to do soft girl makeup I have to put like 15 pounds of blush on or get a hella pigmented one
I'm white and pale af but I save money on everything I can so: using creamy lipstick instead of blush is a holy grail. Once I tried to be extra broke and literally used a beet juice on my cheeks... it was VIBRANT to say at least and tinted my skin for next 4 days-
(Pale-ish girl but this should work for everyone) I don't really buy blushes, I just use lipsticks I already have for blush, sometimes by gently dabbing on a little and smudging it out, sometimes by mixing a little with some moisturizer in my palm before applying it. It's really useful if you like a dewy finish and can't be arsed to buy cream blush
khadija Muhammed honestly though...I identify as a soft girl and I’m constantly just tryna make myself look like the black Cindy Lou who and at this point idec
Stop saying that she acts like Liza, it’s kinda disrespectful... Jesus Christ- guys, I made this comment 6 months ago- I don’t even know what I was thinking commenting ._.
_xHoney Ballx_ It’s not a big deal as your making it out to be. If some said I acted like someone else I would be fine with it, all it is is a comparison.
Beanz Meanz kinda is disrespectful, you don’t know how she feels about the statement. If you noticed, she never liked a comment saying she acted like someone else
Every time a new video comes out with styles like "vsco" "egirl" "softgirl" I'm like "What is that even? I'm too old for internet trends!" (I'm only 29) then MissDarcei is like "I had to look it up" and I feel like that loner in school who only knows what the cool hip lingo is because a cool girl explained it in front of me. This channel is not just giving me quality makeup related content, but also keeping me up to date on trends and culture. Now I can pretend to be in the know about trends because of this "cool girl potatoe" lol 🤔💄🛍👗📰🇨🇦
