Best looking smoker I've ever seen. Having said that, It'd drive me crazy not having a shelf/rack just under the 2 doors.. I didn't realize how convenient those were until I had a smoker that didn't have any built onto it. My beer isn't going to hold itself when I'm loading or checking the meat...
@@rzambranoj01 ok thanks I'll check it out. I cater and compete in BBQ competitions . Currently I work out of two custom drums and a Traeger pellet smoker. Looking for a custom offsite smoker. Either a 250 or a 500 gallon. But that 150 gallon you have posted looks like a nice size as well.
With looks that beautiful, she's gotta have a sweet name too 👌😍❤️ I'd almost be afraid to use something that pretty and mess it up. Congrats on a job well done!
And im sitting here trying to figure out how that paint is going to holdup under those high temps. particularly the FB. firebox looks undersized so Im hoping you are not going to say its insulated!
basecoat and clear are good for roughly 450 degrees a smoker should be running 250-300 so should be okay don't know how long it will last tho wouldn't expect it to last more than a year or so
@@paulronan6770 I actually did some research on it they make paint and clear that will handle up to 2000 degrees so hopefully that's what he has done...
The painting has many steps and long process. What I can say is to get the best results you need to get down to steel by blasting or grinding all the way down to raw steel.
It’s for both my dad bought it we just made some brisket on it and let me tell you it doesn’t disappoint and we found the fire easier to maintain due to the insulation installed in the smoke box
@@rzambranoj01 thank you - I also must say, when I've had buddies ask me what kind of smoker they should get or build themselves, I show them your designs. I love your smokers
My dad bought the grill we just used it on friday I have to say the paint job holds up and the craftsmanship is amazing. Wish I could’ve gone to corpus with him but I worked Black Friday. But we love the grill!
When I want to clean my grates I burn between six and eight hundred degrees and it can go higher! No paint is going to last at that temperature unless you found gold.
