The scary part about this scene is, Black Hat was WAAAAAY tooo chill towards these kids. We know what he could do, but didn't, and that's what's terrifying
i think he just wanted to trumatize them... either in hope of them becoming villains he can get more work from or to turn them into heros so that the vilains they fight will give him more work... if you kill every child then you'll soon be out of buisness...

Apperently in the Latian Americas (I think) Black Hat makes alot of cameos in other CN shows like KND, Gumball, etc. But I do wish other regions can see them as I believe this episode was the first time Black Hat was shown internationally
@@Oxman7077 That would be too expensive. They'd have to get all the voice cast back together for every language which would be too costly for too little gain, or they would have to replace them entirely, neither of those things are desirable for cartoon network

@@LordProteus it is not that different to a normal episode production budget, specially if it is for a show that is being made at that time, it is more complicated to coordinate with both studios but that is it. Actually this one is the first half of the crossover, Villainous is supposed to produce the second one but after the mess that was the merging into WBD we don’t know if it will be done.

Especially if you compare Black Hat with Lucifer Morningstar from Hotel Hazbin, although the latter looks like a teddy bear to cuddle every day due to his cuteness.

Val could guess that these guys are from another dimension, he figured out who was the squid and a way to defeat Cacao, but he could not figure out, who is the villain here, the most obvious thing, considering the apperance of the butler robot or these teo guys. And this dum-dum Victor could not even sense how dangerous and evil Black Hat is, so he lost the companion that he just got and he was too quick to embrace the fact that he was helping the villains, because he thought it was cool. Shame on both of them.
Why would he suspect them? How would he know that they were villains? They came from another dimention(so the aparience will not be something to point out unless they have information about the other dimention) and asked for help to find a monster sized squid who was disguised as a human, Demencia didn't even attack anyone and Flug was charming, polite and empatetic, both showed apreciation to the kids and the way they acted in their own way. There was no reason to suspect them as villains until Black Hat made the epic entrance, maybe they could have tried to talk them out of taking Cacao because he has never do that but since they never even asked why it needed to be capture or if it was dangerous for some reason is pretty normal to asume they will go with the flow.
Wanna know why I love this show mostly? It's the fact that they have crossovers of them just defeating heroes. Its my second childhood cartoon. Can't change it. Deal with it.

You know what would be a nice twist? or cliffhanger? It would be if the kids were the ones who actually made up these heroes and villains and someone brought them to life or we go into the lore of these characters of the children writing their stories and how their stories ultimately unfold whether they are evil or good depending on whether or not that is where the narrative will take their characters thus the name of the show "Villainous"
Or maybe Vic and Val will become the new heroes after the loss of their current universe's hero Cacao. With that said, who's the villain in that universe then? Whoever it is must have called black hat for Cacao's defeat The brothers may not be able to face black hat but maybe they can against their universe's villain.

The fact that Villainous got to have a series in Mexico and have cameos with several characters from old and new Cartoon Network series, yet still doesn't have a U.S. release is damningly criminal.

Ah! The show with loosing heros and winning villains, with spread of evil. Feels like a breath of nice cold fresh air in a hot stuffy room. Would be cool if they were AdultSwim show, demonstrating all the horrors and violence to viewer, but on the other hand CartoonNetwork show with *HIDDEN* details of dark lore is kind of even more interesting. You don`t *SEE* what this dark god can do, but you *KNOW* and *FEEL* it.

I can honestly seeing this series not just taking off, but corssing over with so many older series and giving cartoon network an excuse to air them again; plus another reason to make more merchandise and release new dvd's of those older shows. Especially one's that didn't get a dvd release outside america. It's wishful thinking but would be an amazing thing to pull off. Like a CN City 2.0 ! Also the best crossover could happen, the Villianous x Evil Concarne crossover! The only two cartoon network series about the bad guys, teaming up and then double-crossing each other (or for hector, try to) at the end. It would be fantastic!

For a villain who gets away with anything, I guess there's nothing that Sherlock Holmes and Scooby-Doo could do about it. But as for Batman: He'll always find a way. But if they had a crossover with the original Teen Titans, He wouldn't even team up with Trigon or Slade. He'll even take down the Hives 0:29.
