Black Hills Get on ADV Fest 2023

Come along as I ride solo out to the Black Hills of South Dakota. I try to ride as many back roads as is practical for my two week journey. The reason for the trip is to go to Revzilla's Get On ADV Fest in Sturgis. I also wanted to go explore Wyoming a bit. The Tenere 700 makes such a great travel bike because it is just as happy off pavement as it is on.
This video is about the first two days of Get On ADV Fest.

This was a great event, cant wait to see whats in store for this year! You rode and filmed the same sections I rode. So cool to see and remember some of the trails. Great Video, maybe see you at a rally this year!

It really was a great event. I really enjoy having a video record because as you said, it helps the memory of the trip! I’m still trying to work out travel plans for this year, but I’d love to attend this again!

Great Vid.. ADV Fest looks like something to look into. That Damn track was awesome.. the open rolling range, the back wooded trails.. you're lucky it was drying up, or it could have been a magnificent mess.. " undulating", good college word 😆😆

The routes they had for the event were excellent! They released the black hills bdrx at the end of the weekend and I think I ended up on at least half of the route. And I didn’t go to college to take English classes 🤣

I was there. In fact, we were in the same Sadlak training. I was on the big GS and you were behind me filming at one point in the video.

Hey! I just booked adv fest for this summer. Thanks for showing what to expect. I am flying into NJ from Sweden to pick up my dad and his bike. We are from south jersey too. How would you best give me some advice as a pine barrens rider on how to tackle the trails? Thanks for the video

First of all, have a great time! The terrain is certainly rockier than the pine barrens, but they have short loops on the first day of each difficulty level that give you a good idea of what to expect. There is also the BDRx in the area that does a big loop through all of the Black Hills if you have a little more time
