I already have my BH A6M Zero ARF and electric Retracts. I purchased it from MRC. I also have the Saito FG-90R-3 gasoline burning three cylinder four cycle Radial engine to power it. Now I am collecting the servos, batteries and receiver that I will need to control it and everything on it. I can’t wait to fly see and hear this beauty in the air 😎
Excellent flight James I'm glad you chose to do the maiden at your home field so that you feel more comfortable and be able to enjoy it more there! She does look very easy to take off and the landing was perfect! It is nice that you have that little grass strip to help slow it down too!
WOW. James awesome flying of one big plane. 3:30am and the Old Man watching with my coffee. With my large fleet of planes just don't have room for another big one. Still adding to my want list and dreaming. Great video. ✈️😎💝

@@alphamrc309 but Doc Alpha, it all started with the 70mm yak- 130!. One won't hurt me I thought. Which lead to the F7F-3 Tigercat!. Ok,ok I said to myself it's just two of them no big deal I can control this... A month later I found myself clicking that deadly button for the B-24 with shaking hands. The rush I felt when that box with the pretty blue tape showed up!. Oh my!... The day I found the fellow R.C. junkie passed out at the field with the A-10 under his arm. I felt so bad stealing it from him that I had to go back and put what was left of my savings account under his head for a pillow. He did look so peaceful with his thumb in his mouth and that smile on his face though!... Now I've gone and sold my dog, my cat and my shoes for the F-4 Phantom!... You can now find me under the viaduct with my Motion R.C. planes in a shopping cart holding up a sign asking people.... Will work for a electrical outlet to charge my batteries. Any voltage you can spare is greatly appreciated!... I... NEED... HELP!.....🤣👍🛫
The front end is horribly non scale! It appears to have been extended by inches! Shame it really spoils the look! Was that really necessary to help balance the model? I flew a glass moulded A6M years ago and even with the heavy glass fibre fuzz, it did not need to have a non scale extended nose! Sounds good though!
Quite a few warbird models have extended nose moments. A hanger 9 corsair I had years ago, that was pretty close to scale, had so much lead in the cowling it maxed out the flying weight and made the aircraft difficult at lower airspeeds.
Nice all around... But you need to oil/lube your axles that's why you're getting all that buzzing on your smooth landings. If you don't lube them you're going to ruin your axles and wear out your wheels.
Nice looking and flying plane. The big thing I noticed is that the nose is about twice as long as it should be, don't know if that was intentional for balance or for mounting gear, but there should be no green section between the front of the wing and the cowl. The exhaust should be all of the way back to the leading edge of the wing. Other than that, it looks great.
