They brought Alternative rock and later Grunge in the bd music scene. The first two albums - " Amar Prithibi, Uthshober pore" were the archetypes of real Black that revolutionazed the ug rock scene in Dhaka. Every single track of these 2 albums was masterpiece. Die hard fan of them till the "Abar" album. Good old schooldays, used to save tiffin money to buy audio cds. Pure Nostalgia..
@@nadimhassan5277 They took the underground scene by storm and had the biggest momentum among the bands that cane from the time period, till that accident
@@nadimhassan5277extremely popular. it was our topic at our school. they were like linkin park counterpart and i remember it blew our mind to get the oppurtinity of listen to the western rock band band bangladeshi rock band at the same time
Same way people used to get introduced to any new record back in the day. Some were already familiar with them in advance because of their presence in underground concerts. Others would hear new stuff being played in front of a music store that would capture passerby's attention and they'd then inquire about it themselves. A lot of the bands of 00s ug scene including Black first got their break with the 2000 mix album Charpotro. Aurthohin was the most known band of that album till then. Once people listened to the whole album, the likes of Black (Blues and Rod), Artcell (Odekha Shawrgo), Cryptic Fate (Cholo Bangladesh) etc made their mark. So by the time their first solo albums got released, there already was anticipation among a portion of the listeners. From there it just caught fire

That was a common yet very popular pose for the Alt. rock vocals at that time! If you could dive deeply into their music you wouldn't have asked the question!
