This is a hero tribute video consisting of a compilation of scenes featuring an admirable hero from my memories, the noble and ever-daring doctor for fire, Black Jack (voiced by Kirk Thornton) from the anime OVA series Black Jack. He proved to be an interesting hero to me because of his humble demeanor in the face of danger, his ever-present desire to help others under a cynical charade, and his dedication to using his vast medical knowledge to save lives. He was also interesting in that he was not an idealist, but wanted to see the world through hopeful realism and never despaired. He showed the kind of hero the world needs right now, especially in one where disease and ignorance are supreme.
