Beautiful. Makes me tear up. I miss my Labrador. Her name was princess. Had her since I was a small child. Been two years and still feels like it was yesterday I let her go.
Scientifically Obsessed oh no I'm so sorry to hear that...ya know, I know what losing a loved one of pet feels like. I've had four guinea pigs and I all lost them very tragically. My first one was called Squeak, second was Josh and Jack (brothers), and then jack died so I got a gf for josh called poppy. Sadly both of them died. Now I currently have a black lab called Briar names after a rose and she's so beautiful and sooo friendly. She's like a sister to me. I have a phobia of losing her... 😱
I had a English black lab named princess that I got when I was a toddler!!!! I still remember my first cuddle with her. I'm grateful for the 16 years I had with her, she was like my dog mom always looking out for me. Killed me seeing her at the end when her hips gave out her last two years but we didn't mind helping her cause she was the best and vets said no pain so she trucked on for so long and her partner a great Pyrenees died months after her, a quick painless heartattack burying his bone. Now my kid has his black lab and Siamese duo just like I did and truly means alot all I'm missing is a Pyrenees. Idk how I can live my life without a black lab besides me. 😭
Labs are hands down the BEST dogs in the world. Personally the black lab is my favorite tho. I’ve had yellow and my cousin had a chocolate and we all loved them as well but the black labs hold a special place in my heart.
My BLACKLAB of 15 1/2 years broke my heart 💔 when she passed..I now have a BLACK SCHIPPERKE ❤️ Beautiful,.Smart, Rodent Hunter, & most STUBBORN DOG I ever owned & tried to train..🤣🤣🤣
I agree . I have had 7 labs number's 6 and 7 are with me now 2 black males one is English the other is British. I love them both great dogs sweet smart, and loyal.
Aww now this is my favourite breed ever!! I have a black drakeshead Labrador and she's beautiful. She is a gun dog but that's just what her family do. She's more of just a family dog . She also looks after my autistic brother, Joel who struggles to do daily things and is non verbal. Her name is Briar, named after a rose 🌹
My girl is a daughter of Auchendolly Tan of Eastdale, and watching her work a scent is the best thing in the world. As a pup she would actually cry if she wasn’t allowed to work (somebody else’s) retrieve. Now she waits with amazing patience, and accelerates into the retrieve with a beautiful smoothness and grace.
This boy is beautiful! Looks almost as good as my male Black American Lab who just turned 1 year. His Sire and Dam are both black with Field Trial awards. Our focus is Frisbee with no vocal commands. He absolutely loves it, as do I. Fair winds and following seas to all.
Absolutely fantastic video! And what a great job you have done. It is a pleasure to see that dog in action. My own black lab, Indy is nearly 2 years now. He loves hunting and training, but compared to yours, there is room for improvement!!! Morten, Denmark.
What a pretty lab. I also have a 5 year old black lab, and we found 2 abandoned lab mixed pups, about 8-10 weeks old. They seem to have adopted the lab smarts.
I have a miniature schnauzer, who I love, these days but Labs my very favorites since I was 4 and Pal was our family dog. He was the best as I littleBetty. Oh, I’ll be 78 soon😊
His structure is very correct, although he is long proportioned. Hes definitely got energy and drive though, and good instinct. Fenway Labradors is a solid breeder.
To have a dog be such a willing and capable conversationalist can be amazing to behold, and I bet that must be something else for the dog to realize that their handler is actually guiding them!
Oh my. Teach me your ways Mr.Brock. I'm a one year old hound/lab who runs, fetches, jumps and loves the outdoors......seriously nice dogs, great video. My first dog was a purebred black labrador and he was amazing. That dog would track me down 5 miles out when he turned loose. Thanks for sharing friend.
Fly Agaric I have one but he is too strong and when we got him he was to big to be trained sooo we can't take him on walks or our arms will be ripped off! He is so untrained, but I'm 10 and trained my dog to play dead and that cute stuff and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to train my gentle/dangerous giant!
My lifelong dream just came true. I always wanted to have a black Labrador. My son just ordered an American Black Labrador. It’s a 4 week pure breed male puppie. We should be receiving him within the next 3 weeks. Can’t hardly wait. We are naming the puppie... Remy.
@@redneck9t022 I Have both they are sisters although the thing I like about the English she knows when she is wrong the american though just won't do what she messed up again
Greatest dog breed in the world ! Have owned and trained and hunted behind 50 different Labs in my life ! As far as intelligence , courage , heart and drive they are in a class by themselves ! As far as family and companions they are protective and gentle as lambs unless the wrong person attacks ! I love the breed ! And the females are the best !
Very impressive. That's a gorgeous dog and higly skilled. I have raised dogs on my farm in the Oregon Coast Range for 20-years. When they get old and pass from natural causes, it just tears out my heart. I have two new pups -- chocolate and black: "Guinness" and "Porter" -- who are al;ready showing enormous potential at just two months. I spend most of my day with my dogs, they're my mates and valuable members of our family. I trust them over people. Even if your lab is simply a companion, be a responsible human being and do not overfeed or give them crappy snacks. I reccommend dried lambs lung. Low caloric, buy them by the pound, they just love 'em. Be good to your lab and they will reward you ten-fold with friendship, loyality and work their asses off for you!
+Mike O'Toole I know how you feel. My two working labs, both chocs, and yes no matter what they say choc labs can work well. I trained them myself to be gun dogs and they are wonderful for working and as pets. The eldest is 12 and she is probably had her last shooting season but every time I go to my gun safe she sits there looking at me and I just have to take her shooting even though she is slow and very grey now. Even in early 2016 we have a hard frost but she, the old trooper, went into the water to pick up two ducks I shot because she had seen where they fell. Brought them both back with two beautiful presents to my hand. I will be broken hearted when the old lass dies. What a good dog she is and still as trim as she was when she was in her prime.
🙏🏽 have had my black lab pup for two weeks; transitioned him right away to what I feel is a more biologically appropriate diet of raw and whole prey. 🙂
Sehr schönes Video, so macht die Arbeit nicht nur dem Labrador spass, sondern auch seinem Besitzer! Mit hundefreundlichen Grüßen Leon M. und sein Team mit den feuchten Schnauzen
Totally - Not my Lab - If I have to make him fetch it - I will have to run to the bird - He never leaves my sight or should I say he never leaves me out of his sight !!
The dog is enjoying every second of this. Unfortunately the pheasant is bird often hunted. These birds are very difficult to hunt and take a skilled dog to point them out. Pheasant so I am told are delicious. The cock pheasant is one of the beautiful birds on earth. To see this wonderful dog doing what is so natural is a thing of beauty!!!
