The issues with defining our selves as "blacks" is that it make it seem like us and the African American are the exact some people. The true is we are not. Look at people with brown skin, for example. Do they get lumped into one group and get called "browns"? No! Some are Arab, Indian, Persian, latino, etc. No one lumps them in together.

You can define yourself as whatever you want especially when you are in our home country. What you need to understand is our oppressors in western countries see us as "black". That's not something you can deny. We are treated the same just like sis explained.
