Hey thanks for the content! I don't know if you've already talked about it in a previous video, but why did White Plume Adventurer not make the cut in your cube?

Seeing Legolas's quick reflexes added to the cube reminds me one thing silly I like about commander is that you can run some blue counterspell morphs and actually counter split second as unmorphing is one of the few legal game actions you can take vs split second.

Mack was a pretty good sport letting you do that in the last game 😂

This deck was so so sweet. And its the most LSV deck I think I've ever seen LSV have.

He did it again! What a draft. Was this better than the last time you got cradle academy? Yes.

Paul should’ve held priority with upheaval on the stack and cracked jar, 7 new looks to survive trap and putting his opponent’s board in a jar hand that gets discarded EOT

I’ve tried to experiment with mulliganing more aggressively towards my broken stuff in vintage cube and it had worked out quite well. A mediocre 7 is worse than a busted 5 from what I’ve been finding.

Would it have been better for Paul to Memory Jar with Upheaval on the stack, so all his opponent's permanents would have been lost to the Jar? I know it ultimately didn't matter, but there's also the chance he could have jarred into something to help him get the Initiative back.

I'm a little confused by not speccing on the Zuran Orb with Crucible. Yeah, you can't use the combo to power out infinite mana, but you can tap Academy for mana, sac it, play it as the land for turn, and then tap Academy again as a mana doubler. With exploration, you could triple the mana. Obv in hindsight getting passed the Thopter Foundry + Sword of the Meek was an absurd thing to wheel, but I'm surprised the Crucible was such a fast pass.

Really been loving the cube content, which instantly turned me onto the format. Would also love to see you play constructed once in a while. Vintage maybe? Doesn't seem like too much of a stretch from vintage cube.

Man cube draft really is uniquely awesome. One day u can be slapping people with mother of runes, the next u are generating infinite card draw mana and turns.

@lsv recently did a brother’s war draft and forgot how sneaky strong sarinth steelseeker is at uncommon. Would be interesting in some lands/artifact decks, not sure it’s at the vintage power level tho. Edit: the more I think about it, it would be a solid add as it goes nutzo with all the artifact generations

Cards from this draft that [[Stifle]] would have interacted with in an interesting way: Grief, Coveted Jewel (to keep them from stealing it), landcycling abilities, Fetch Lands, Daretti, Archon of Cruelty ETB, Displacer Kitten, Vampire Hexmage, Living Weapon cards, cratermaker, cathar commando, Golos, dungeoneer ETB (no initiative), chrome mox/mox diamond, bomat courier.... It's a great card with lots of utility, let's add it to the cube!

last game against troll i was hoping for the exile golos with cauldron, play academy, activate "golos" a bunch because you can use mana of any color. But i guess what he did was good enough XD

Match 2 game 2 he was dead even with a damn to the time walk because you could activate colonnade use it to crew chariot than untap it with candelabra to attack for 8 twice. Not that it mattered but I still think it was a cool line if a wrath happened

@14:23 -- They need to unban Mind Twist in Legacy already. The card just isn't what it used to be and it doesn't do anything people aren't already doing in Legacy and getting unrestricted in Vintage hasn't done anything, either. I'd much rather play against a deck that goes Swamp -> Dark Ritual -> Dark Ritual -> Dark Ritual -> Lotus Petal -> Mind Twist on turn one over Swamp -> Dark Ritual -> Entomb -> Animate Dead -> Atraxa/Griselbrand/Archon of Cruelty/Ashen Rider/Gravy Train/whatever busted creature is FotM.

Oh no, he's talking about Agatha's Soul Cauldron. I'm not falling for it though, no way he plays it 😢 can't really blame him. Just watched the draft from the day after this one. Poor Raffine (spl) never dtood a chance. Edit: crazy deck so far, Agatha is dead. Long live kitten? It is much better/ easier to play than Soul Cauldron.

At like 8:50 is there no consideration for channel over jewel? Channel feels pretty good in artifacts and you’re already in green

At the end of pack 2, don't you want more card draw/selection so that you don't just flood out? I feel like these decks are usually playing 20-30 mana generation cards and the way they lose is not seeing win cons. Trinket Mage certainly helps, but it feels like these decks lose because they don't have a way to spend their mana. It also seems like playing something like 15 land would be ideal if you have 4+ mana accelerants that cost 2 or less. I guess we'll see how pack 3 goes.

at m2 g2, when you play sword of the meek turn 2, you play it with mishra workshop saying next turn you can play sentinel only you can't... or am i missing something? why did you not just play forest instead of mishra workshop to play it? (obviously you then draw mana vault and are able to cast it anyway. I am arguing that not knowing the draw and assuming you draw a brick you couldnt cast sentinel, and have 1 lesss mana than if you played forest)
