I recently went ahead and tried this! It was a whopping $17.99…

That’s expensive! Where did you buy it?

The problem with these products isn’t the look it’s the sling they produce. Looks good but how much of that will be along side of the car and side windows ? U Should do a video

Actually I had no sling surprisingly. Drove quite a bit even after the video on the highway and had no problems. Maybe it is worth double the price of the original formula after all 🤷‍♂️

use a heat gun on the final coat and it WILL NOT SLING.!

Good 20 minute video, a better one would've been 16 minutes shorter.

I appreciate the input. So basically no info just, application and results would be better?

You didn't apply it the way the mfr recommends so your review isn't relevant or valid. If you did, you'd have had sling all over the car. However, if you apply with an applicator, then wipe off the excess, then let it dry completely, there's no sling and it looks great. Very uniform and lasts for weeks.

So if I apply the way the manufacturer applies it, I’m wrong? I understand it’s good to do things the way the company recommends, it’s better to do things the way it works for me. Honestly with that product I didn’t have much of a sling problem the way I did it in the video…

@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Not wrong per se, but a review of a product should be done with the product applied exactly as the directions dictate then observe the results and report the findings If they are less than favorable, then that's on the mfr. At that point you can share your tweaks that solve the issue and 2 things happen: 1. The company learns how their product behaves when applied as per their instructions in a real world situation. And 2. You look like a hero to your viewers because you prevented them from making a mess if they apply it as directed and also provide a solution to that issue so they can get the most out of the product, cleanly. Taken at face value, the directions fail to mention the fact that if you just spray and go without allowing a significant amount of cute time, it's going to sling solvent based dressing all over the place and it's not fun to clean up. I think it has potential as a long lasting dressing that looks pretty good but they need to be more forthcoming about the need for it to cure so consumers aren't led to believe it won't sling. I did a test recently of over 20 store bought tire dressings and every one of them had the words "no sling" somewhere on the label and all of them sling 0roduct to some degree when applied per the directions .

Jesus...did ya use enough? Lol. Too wet and glossy for me. I use aero cosmetics rubber care....inexpensive and a beautiful matte finish and LASTS.

Haha! That was the point I was trying to make towards the end. This product isn’t really meant for most people. Initially the gloss is high but it dies down fairly quickly. I’m shocked, I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either…
