This black margarita punch is a large batch cocktail recipe perfect for your Halloween Party. It's dark and spooky black color is elevated by activated charcoal and blends smooth tequila with fresh lime juice and orange liqueur for a spooky yet delicious twist on the classic margarita.

Black Halloween Margarita Punch Recipe:
2 cups tequila
1 cup triple sec or orange liqueur
1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lime juice
2/3 to 1 cup simple syrup (or agave syrup, adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp activated charcoal (or more for a darker color)
1 bottle of champagne or sparkling water or club soda (for fizz)
1/2 cup cranberry juice or pomegranate juice (adds depth and a subtle fruity flavor)
Black salt and/or black sugar (for rimming glasses)
Ice cubes to keep punch cold
Optional: Dry ice for a smoky, spooky effect
How to Make Punch:
In a large punch bowl, combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and activated charcoal. Stir until the charcoal is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and black.
Pour in the cranberry or pomegranate juice for extra depth and richness. Just before serving, add Champagne for a bubbly punch effect.
Chill the Punch: Add large ice cubes or an ice ring to keep the punch cool. If you want to create a dramatic effect, carefully add small pieces of dry ice for a foggy, smoky presentation. Just make sure guests don’t touch or consume the dry ice directly.
Serve the punch into black salt-rimmed glasses
