It takes two people to make a child, but it only takes one to keep a child. Damn, I have gotten caught up twice in baby mama situation. Of course child support came with it. Wish I had worn protection, but sadly I didn't. In my experience, a down bad ass woman isn't always found at da clubs. They're everywhere in all forms. My first bm kept da child because she thought it was gonna keep me. Nope. Second kept da child to get back at her husband and keep me around to rub it in his face. I brought it on myself and I have to deal with my consequences. We as adults make these decisions and nobody hurts but da child who's involved. Where's my Daddy? U can't answer because u don't know. Stop having kids with men and fellas we need to do better at using protection.

Hi LadyMocha. That was a very good video. Your talk was extremely good. I wish my mother gave me this talk when i was 20, but she didn't know either. I grew up thinking that just about every girl in the world would be as awesome as my mother. I'm straight though. I'm single with no kids etc. I'm a handsome black man with an MD degree from Howard medical school. I have a question for you because I am doing research on relationships. My Question is what do you think about a polygamous relationships where there are 2 - 4 women in the same home with 1 man? n I became interested a polygamous relationship after my last relationship and the story of guys i know. In my last 2 years of medical school, I lived with my fiancee. I was extremely good to her, i liked her and I was above average in all areas. Three months before my graduation she cancelled the wedding and asked me to leave, because she said I was at a different place in life than her. She was a school counselor and had all her summers off and i seemed to be working too hard and would be too busy. I doubted that because I would often find times to do things with her like tandem bike riding, bring flowers and food to her at her job by surprise , bring her to get her hair and make up done, I even set up a surgery for her with the best doctor in the hospital (for fibroids), had her placed in the VIP suite and was at her bedside helping her with everything. We went to counseling for about 2 months and the counselor could not convince her otherwise. He said she had a problem with gratitude and she was a very rigid thinker. I left but it was very annoying because during those 2 years, I swerved many other girls and nurses in the hospital who were legit for forming and family. I did not give out my phone number etc . I was loyal. So for the purpose of creating a a family to strengthen the black community , it was like i wasted 2 years. This scenario has also happened to other very good men that I know. Some were not able to bounce back and are very single no kids no wife. Normally it would not be a big deal, you just bounce back. But with a huge shortage of black men it seems like the last thing we need is for good men who want to be fathers to miss the opportunity to girls who suddenly abandon the relationship for no good reason. Her parents and family were mad at her. After breaking up she calls me about 1 year later nad tries to make up another excuse. She said she wasn't sure i loved her. I changed my number cause I can't manage that unreliability in my life. SO I said I could never see myself investing that much time with a girl before her marrying and have her bounce cause she's not sure. So since men are at a very big shortage I was thinking it would be better to pursue a polygamous household which would have several advantages (1) I'm from the hood. My first girlfriend was from the projects. I helped her get out, and I always daydream about getting a bunch of girls out the projects to live the good life, to travel explore the world , eat at the best restaurants etc . So In a polygamous situation, instead of doing that for only 1 girl , I would be able to bring several young ladies under the banner of a great loving and balling family union. (2) There are several other advantages which I won't go into to save space In Your Presentation, you said Women are attracted to men who are already married, or in a good relationship, because women can observe how nice the lady is living and being treated. So it seems that women are already attracted to men for a polygamous situation. However, most women seem to prefer to have 1 man all to themselves, which they may often take for granted and kick them to the curb in half a minute. Right now i the black community single parents homes by state is between 63% to 80% (as in the case of Arkansas) So to minimize the number of single parent black families, why not just bring several beautiful black women under one family union, so that more women can be part of the family experience. What do you think about this situation? Do you think there is a way for a woman to be comfortable with this idea? What do you think it would take to reassure a good black woman about this kind of union? (and just to let you know, I'm actually completely open minded on this issue meaning that the woman could have a friend/partner if she wants as long as everything is organized and safe, and the family stays together for the sake of providing our black children the best protection, economic advantage, male and female role models etc ).
