Gordan Freeman is a 27-year-old Theoretical Physics Research Associate working at the Black Mesa Research Facility located somewhere in the New Mexico dessert. He has been assigned to the Anomalous Materials Labatory and is late for a very important test. Little does he know that what will happen today will change not only his life, but the entire world forever.
