I have to confess that I’m a very newcomer in black metal, and I actually discovered Dark Funeral with your late reaction video, and I really love their first single. Since the past few weeks I dived into them and I now see what is the « classic » DF sound. So I understand your opinion about this one but still, I find their first single is a very good song. Of course it features no blast beat (okay now I know no blast fort DF means heresy), but still the song is very catchy with good melody and mostly, very good and understandable lyrics. So thanks man. In a way you helped me get into that band I’ve heard a lot from without really taking the time to dive into. 🤘🏻😊
That's really cool man! Actually no blast isn't a heresy for dark funeral since they have a bunch of really beautiful slow songs like My funeral, Atrum regina, As I ascend etc.. It's just that you know if they release a slow song, the next one will be a total blast! I love their slower song as I loved the previous single Let the devil in. I'm glad to hear that you're getting much more into the genre. 🤘🏻🍻
Maybe something for you from Finland. Darkwoods my Betrothed released a new album some time ago. The drummer in the band is no any other than Kai Hahto himself. Check out "In Evil, Sickness and in Grief" or "Black Fog and Poison Wind" video.
I saw them at Alcatraz Festival this summer and it was simply great. I'm actually not so much into Black Metal. I'm more into Thrash and Melo-Death but I'm really beginning to like Black Metal. "We are the Apocalypse" is just a great album. It's one of the few albums that I really like to listen to from start to finish. I really hope to see them live again soon.

i always had one thought about dark fun real, they are like the AC/DC from black metal, always useing same chords and song structure.... another song that is a clone from secrets of the black arts. The song is good but, in the very first second you know they are dark fun real with the thypical dark fun real sound...... and again, dark fun real doing a dark fun real song that sounds totally like dark fun real cause they been playing same chords for 25 years. You hear this one and you say "dude, this is secrets of the black arts" they only changed the lyrics!!
Now we are talking. Very catchy and awesome drumming. But as a bassist I have always looked down on everyone that plays with a pick. Even if it can make the bass sound a bit more aggresive and it reduces the strimgs from hitting the body or pick-ups.
By far.... D F... It's an amazing BM band... I'm still lovin'*the secrets of..* But this is awesome vocals... Riffs.. double blastbeat... A neverending journey into killer battery fuckin grrreeeeeaattt work ⚔️⚒️

Very true, DF are able to produce songs that stick in your mind for daaaaays🤟🏻 as far as I’m concerned the whole album (we are the apocalypse) is full of memorable songs, I really love it🤟🏻
HOW PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE ADMINISTERED 1st choice: comfortable life (human contacts, fun, relationships, easy work) 2nd choice: remedy the one made by the first choice (all the opposite of the life of the first) 3rd choice, etc.: no personality suitable to survive, probable life as a tramp (in the middle of the street), absolutely no human contact, fun, future, precious things, relationships. With the personality they give you to do all these things it will be too complicated. Probable acts of violence or discrimination, no work or if there is very hard. High probability of suicide. Procedure: there comes a time when suddenly Christ and Satan show up in front of the mirror and by deception force to choose one of the two. By choosing the first, the following things happen: Christ, the Virgin Mary and in case some saints show up and in case you are playing or having fun in any way they force you to work and toil helping someone always with their voice and their words inside your head. @@RobHellfire666 True art isnt a competition. If the stuff is created in the soul, no money or competing will destroy the artists creation. They shouldnt give a hoot about money and fans. Hell, black metal is naturally underground so those two factors dont apply.

Gear, jam spot, artists (to create alum art) producers, hell, bands even pay to record the innital record itself.. management, road crew, food, shelter, tour bus flights, visas, on and on and on. Who pays for all that? The band, and their record company. Nothing is free.
They remind me dimmu borgir too , the melody as boris says its cool n catchy but , idk i dont get along with his voice... the title feels kinda corny , i dont feel like they too original for my taste.
Nightfall... the title sounds like a Nuclear Blast Melodic Powermetal band. I hate the new Dark Funeral. Can´t understand why someone likes that shit after knowing the first album, which is one of the best from Sweden til today.
