Bought a Moonlight album recently seriously good stuff. Fair bit on here that peaks my interest. Still haven't got around to the new Satanic Warmaster but I'll probably have a look on Werewolf before the end of the month. Nice Graveland t-shirts 🍻
Horns up ye old goat! ;) So you are still around but under a new name and more renewed focus. Happy to see you still around here on RU-vid Joe, i missed you, believe it or not, it´s true. I have some Graveland stories for you Joe! I used to, or rather i tried to do a fanzine at one point in time, and someone that i was gonna interview for the zine was Rob. Let´s just say that he was more interested in making friends and sending all sorts of things that was not the interview or material i had asked for. One day i opened up one of his letters at my work place during a break and a big swastika sticker of sorts falls out on the table facing upwards, oh boy did i hide that in a hurry. I did not ask for that, i asked for an interview, but instead he sent me propaganda and stickers with "hate" symbols on them , i still laugh about it today, because it was like out of a scene from a bizzare comedy movie :D He was friendly though and curious, i make no judgments, but that is not something i support or want any part off. I used to like some of his music though, some solid raw black metal stuff, the way i used to like it. I could censor this story for the PC, deadhead followers out there but i tell it like it was, i bend no knee or back for these fools. I got all of that stuff in a box in my attic, the letters, the interviews, photos and everything, still just sitting there. Interesting Salem hospital story, i digged hearing about that, so much history, big and small to look at and explore, unfortunate events and horrible things that happenes to people, we need to tell those tales. I sold all my black metal and death metal demos, if i still had them i would have sold them for a good cheap price to you, had about 200 tapes or so, some good stuff in there, but it had to go. I do still have some old Black Metal/Death and thrash metal zines from that time, like Putrefaction and Necrologium which was two of my favorites from back in the day, also have a bunch of others in the old collection. Censorship is crap and ruins our lives, sure there are some small things that needs to be dealt with like PD shit but beyond that everything should be talked about and showed and explored in artforms, books, movies, music, and in conversations, it all depends on context and such as well, but all of that does not matter to so many people in this modern political correct black hole of madness! You seem to be doing alright and enjoing what you like. Keep the love and passion alive! Keep the flame burning!
