It's crazy because KPN has a really great melodies in their songs, but they are being banned for lyrics, which most of the people that are against them can't even hear. What's crazier is that some of those lyrics have nothing to do with politics (like "Dueil Angoisseus" lyrics is a XIVth century poem written by a feminist - first professional female lyricist).
I discovered Peste Noire 16 years ago, Spleen is by far my favourite song of them, and I can say this: You did a great job with this simple guitar, it's perfectly recognizable ! ✌️😎
Discovered them around the same time, agreed Spleen is one of my favourites, but other songs definitely stand out more for me. Especially like this version being completely acoustic.

How would a more sinister song like Djävulens ande from Ondskapt sound on such a guitar? That would be interesting. Anyway, really really love your videos!!

@@Kriskazam Its just a name I recognise as a Black Metal band. I have been listening BM for ages and different band names come and go in discussions but there is no time to listen them all. Peste Noire just happened to be one I never gave a shot.
@@cddcdd7927 I listened the song soon after I made the original comment, and within few days I learned to play it myself with the help of Simons video and a GP tab. Amazing song! I love it! Funny that I know only one song from them so far. 😅 Too bad they are not in Spotify, cuz I do most of my music listening at work through bluetooth earmuffs and RU-vid is awkward to use on mobile phone.
@@MaaZeus Spleen is the old song. Now they make completely untraditional BM mixing medieval folk, industrial, French chanson, punk and even rap elements. This is really weird, psychotic stuff full of mocking and scorn
