Disclaimer: the audio in this video was made using the audio version of this MIDI.
I want to begin this by giving a shoutout to Orangepaprika 67 for making this MIDI available for download when most World's Smallest Violin MIDIs are private. This video wouldn't be possible if it weren't for that.
The full name of this MIDI is Paprika's Submission for World's MOST INSANE Community Merge, but obviously I couldn't fit all of that in the title, so I abbreviated it. Also, I used the PFA Playable version of this MIDI because my PC wasn't powerful enough to load the full MIDI in Ultralight MIDIPlayer.
I was originally just going to use a random delay soundfont on this MIDI, but then I thought it would be a better idea to turn this into a comparison video instead. The first 2 audio clips are a comparison of a regular soundfont and one with random delay in standard render mode, and the last 2 audio clips are a comparison of a regular soundfont and one with random delay in real-time simulation mode. As you will notice, there are distinct differences between each audio clip, and both random delay and real-time simulation made this MIDI sound a lot cleaner.
Making the audio was a kind of frustrating process, specifically for the real-time simulation audio. Unfortunately Keppy's MIDI Converter's real-time simulation function is quite finicky and is prone to clipping or skipping audio for the first fraction of a second. I had to re-render the real-time simulation audio several times before I got audio with no errors. Also, Keppy's MIDI Converter will cut off audio at the end in real-time simulation mode rather than continuing to render any sound that is currently playing. If you're wondering why some of the audio clips seem like they end a little too soon, that's why.
With all of that out of the way, I hope you find this comparison video helpful. Let me know your thoughts and opinions in the comment section, if you would like to.
