Just finished the whole season. That final was so intense ! Loved those references to the previous episode. Now I just have to wait another year for season 5 😔
That one part when Rolo says something like "apparently is not human if it doesn't have five emotions" really feels like an Inside out easter egg, as there at exactly 5 emotions inside Ridley's head on that movie.
Rolo is the devil. He looks for desperate people to make soul contracts that looked fine at first but had a twisted end. And the girl was the one who fooled him with his own tricks. A contemporary metaphor for an old story.
At the start of the episode when she looks at the black museum she nods her head and agrees to something. This only makes sense until the end when you learn that her mom is in her head
didn't her mum commit suicide? so she was so depressed she was suicidal but still had the presence of mind to upload her own depressed consciousness in case her daughter missed her?
Yeah, at the beginning I imagine she was thinking to her self “OK yeah that’s some thing that will pass the time.” But at the end, I completely imagine her mom in her head saying “yeah, that’s the place, baby.”
Vault boy1 hmm, i didnt like the black and white filter, I liked the idea of a post-apoc world with killer robots. The best part was not getting to know what/who made the robots.
Metalhead was shit had to fastfoward, too long only ending was nice crocodile always seemed like a long joke which u get from the start and just want it to get to the good part, DJ ep or black museum were best
Arkangel was the 3rd best episode from this season for me, because it captures what Black Mirror is all about - the unintentional consequences of well-intentioned inventions. At first the episode made you assume the daughter was the one who would be irreparably harmed by the Arkangel, but in the end the daughter actually got over it and moved on, whereas it was the mother who stayed hooked onto the unethical uses of the technology. Black Museum #1 and Hang the DJ a very close #2 (main issue I had with it was that the AI simulations either 1. deconstructed emotions into a logic based formula = unrealistic or 2. they are using the whole consciousness transfer technology that has been present ithroughout the series and that would actually be horrific and detracts from the "feel good" of the episode.
What a great episode to end Season 4 of Black Mirror! I loved the three stories told and how creative and screwed up they all were. The first story made me feel like I was watching the birth of a villain. It was just so twisted and dark but it was just so interesting to watch him descend into madness. The second story was just sad. You just can't help but feel bad with what happened to that lady and imagine how lonely one would feel. The actress that played the daughter of the supposed killer in the third story was great and played her role really well. I was just so engrossed and I loved how the ending brought everything together. One of my favorite episodes of the season along with USS Callister and Hang The DJ.
My personal order is: 1.Black Museum 2. Hang the DJ & Crocodile 4. USS Callister 5. Arkangel 6. Metalhead (it was amazing but I just preferred the others)
I refer to rolo heins character in this episode as the black/techno devil He offers people quick solutions to their problems with a seemingly harmless consequence The consequences actually turn out to be a huge pain in the ass And when they come back to him for help He either gives them no solution or worsens their condition
Jaded Jv I think the second story having the whole stuffed monkey is likely a reference to The Monkey's Paw, which seems to be the overarching theme of the episode in which people are granted "wishes" (being able to better treat patients, being able to communicate with your child, providing for your family after death) which end up having horrific consequences. The third one actually words for Rolo as well, as he'd found a main attraction that got his museum a ton of attention, but it was the very same attraction that brought Nish (and her mother) to eventually get retribution against Rolo
I'd say Prof. Rolo Haynes and Dr. Dawson both remind me of a DC, Marvel, or anime villians I've seen before. I say Dawson and Haynes remind me of Mr. Sinister and Brainiac quite a bit among other villains
The Jack and Carrie story was messed up, but from the first second, transferring her conscience into his brain was a terrible terrible idea. It was not realistic from both of them to think that he would never ever want to move on with his life and have a new relationship. That's human! That's horrible to say but she should have stayed in her coma, at least her son would have visited her when he was older in a San Junipero way. Or she should have agreed to get deleted from Jack's brain and die for good. Both solutions would have been way better than being stuck in a stuffed monkey forever while her son completely forgot about her.
FKAFuchsia I agree. This story was stupid and unbelievable. Why a stuffed toy and why only give her two preset responses? If she can talk in Jack's brain and he can hear and understand her, why take away her ability to speak in a new body? Even today we have machines controlled by the mind. Could they not put her cookie in a new body, even a mechanical body that she can control and speak through?
My thoughts exactly and what made the episode sad for me. The other stories of the episode didn’t overshadow how sad that one was as Rolo said. I hope the daughter takes her to them or something in my headcanon lol.
just a vegan What do you mean by headcanon? For me the story was trying too hard to be sad without thought as to whether it's logical or believable. It's like if a couple go to the zoo, and the zoo owner says that as the wife is the millionth visitor, she gets to be fed to the lions, and the husband agrees that this is a good policy and she dies. Is the story sad or is it just silly? To me the coma story is just as absurd and illogical, so I couldn't take it seriously enough to find it truly sad.
Conway79 Please give me reasons make it a silly idea because that story bothered me because I’m a big family person and currently engaged so I was like “idk how I would feel if this was mel
I also feel like you guys should take longer to think about the episodes instead of trying to be the first ones to do a video on it. A lot of things are over looked in all of your reviews.
TCKR fired Rolo after all his unethical experiments became known and the ONU issued those resolutions about artificial consciences, so they stopped being responsible by what Rolo did. It wasn't exactly TCKR that was responsible for all that shit, it was Rolo's responsibility alone. I was amazed however by how Rolo was able to keep his basic income and make his museum working after all his clients disappeared, including even the white supremacists who didn't want to torture a vegetal anymore. The electricity bills to keep Clayton's prison running can't be cheap.
Sad Doctor it would be funny (not really haha funny) if the husband was awarded a large sum of money, because that was a rouge truck and they settled because of an insurance adjuster came and looked at the memories of the people in the park like in Crocodile.
Actual question but why was it confusing? (I have to admit though I was a fan of the podcast and heard it was based on it so that was a good bit of prior knowledge)
Definitely my favorite episode this season. 1. Black Museum 2. USS Callister 3. Hang The DJ 4. Crocodile 5. Arkangel 6. Metalhead (doesn't feel like a black mirror episode to me)
SteVoBooZe I liked the stop motion effects of the "metalhead" dog & the black/white filter, but there was no story or narrative. I didn't care if she lived or died.
I swear I’m the only one who enjoyed metal head I thought it was brutal and incredibly intense. A showing of a world where military grade weapons destroy society as we know it
Pez games it wasn't intense it was boring as hell. Of course a robot killer dog chasing a woman would be intense. but other than that, the plot doesnt even have anything interesting.
TheICEgirl6100 There's also people with Body Integrity Disorder who feel like some of their limbs don't belong them, and actually end up being happier after amputating them.
The need to charge the car was only a distraction make the man she was killing feel safe from danger. Otherwise She had to tell a thousand unimportant lies about how she heard of the museum. What advertisement attracted her the most. Simple unsuspecting lies until she contradicted herself by forgetting the original lie in the first place.
This episode was by far the best episode of season 4. This was the only episode of the season that gave me that “oh crap” feeling that Black Mirror usually does. Every other episode was pretty mediocre to me.
You are absolutely right. This was the only epidoe directed by the same guy. He alloed other directors work this season. This season wasnt the best to be honest
I feel like it’s because they just watch it and immediately make a video... when they should watch it a few times and assess all the angles. I’m here watching so I don’t want to judge lol but this came out less than a week ago it would take longer to really understand something...
I think the episode is hinting that the actual killer can be found by looking through the other connected episodes. A giant murder mystery of some sort.
its literally propaganda, you can go on twitter and see "kill white men", if you see stuff like in the episode, you will loose your career and be sent to jail etc
in arkangel, young sara pierces her finger with a pencil to test the monitor's censorship system, in black museum's sub story the pain addict, the technology that transfers pain is tested by piercing the finger of a test subject with a pencil. just thought it was a little uncanny haha x
The King in the North Lmao I completely agreed with you but Nosedive is my least favorite of the show. 15 million merits and USS Callister are brilliant tho
.."attempt"....that's the key word....he didn't set out to do harm....his objective was noble but he went insane because of unforeseen circumstances....and do remember, he ALSO lost his life essentially.
C'mon guys!! Great video and all but, seriouslly! YOU DON'T HAVE TO NARRATE THE WHOLE THING! Everyfuckingone who's here wachted the episode already and is just looking for the easter eggs, and to remember the old ones. Plisss
I agree. The RU-vid channel, Harry's Moving Castle does a much better job analyzing each episode. Sadly, he has yet to upload videos for the new season.
I'd say Prof. Rolo Haynes and Dr. Dawson both remind me of a DC, Marvel, or anime villians I've seen before. I say Dawson and Haynes remind me of Mr. Sinister and Brainiac quite a bit among other villains
how did he get the lollypop ? ;) its quite the goof that the lollypop was in black museum... i figure it was to help recognize that it was daleys dna device but still.... that lollypop shouldnt really be there...
I can never hear "Always Something There To Remind Me" by Dion Warwick the same way again. This whole episode just brain effed me. Black Mirror is always so balls deep in references and symbolism 👏👏👏👏👏
Charlie pollock maybe the fire didmt actually burn anything up because its all in cases and this murder and arson and relocating the exibits come in a future episode. Exploring more of whats there. I can hope, and if i was a writer for them I would do it. I also have other could of should ofs, but who am I really
RNLH I thought that too. How is she supposed to have a normal love life, or even a normal life, with her mum constantly looking through her eyes and talking in her head? There's no way anybody would think this was a good idea if it was possible in real life.
LaToya Jackson But it still dehumanizes the mum, just like the other woman was dehumanized by being switched on and off whenever it suited the boyfriend.
RNLH Maybe the mother was only in Nish's 'head' to witness Nish end Clayton's suffering. She could possibly be uploaded to the cloud after this? Also maybe Nish is taking Carrie with her to get her uploaded to the cloud as well.
Dude this isn't a breakdown at all. It's a summary. Two completely different things. Breakdowns visit things about a show that most or many people would miss. It's a bit frustrating Honestly
This episode had me crying at the end! This tops it all!!!!! Well interconnected! Even the song at the beginning made my jaw drop by the end of the episode! 👏👏👏 such a genius way to end Season 4 😍
That one part when Rolo says something like "apparently is not human if it doesn't have five emotions" really feels like an Inside out easter egg, as there are exactly 5 emotions inside Ridley's head on that movie.
Actually it's comes from the same source as the five emotions in Inside Out - joy, sadness, disgust, anger and fear are said by psychologists to be the five main basic emotions that human beings experience, and all other emotions are just permutations and combinations of these five emotions. Both Black Museum and Inside Out were actually referencing actual psychology.
I have mixed feelings about this episode. The pain addict story was the best; it had an original premise and wonderful dark humour. The coma story was just stupid. It's like everything that happened was designed solely to make the woman's existence as painful and undignified as possible, with no thought to ethics, practicality nor logic. I just couldn't take it seriously. The death row story was interesting, and I like how they tied it in with Nish's visit and her revenge on the curator. However by this point, it felt like the concept of sentient 'cookies' being kept alive indefinitely just to make them suffer had been done to death by Black Mirror, and it no longer had the same impact as when it was introduced in White Christmas. It's become more like BM's signature trademark very dark running joke. As for the ending where it's revealed that Nish's mum's consciousness has been implanted in her head, how is she supposed to have a normal love life, or a normal life at all, with her mum looking through her eyes and talking in her head? It's like the situation in Arkangel but a hundred times worse.
I agree dude but I think Nish and her mother probably found a way to cohabit in harmony or Nish probably only kept her in her head until the mother saw the end of the scheme to bring down Rolo. Honestly though I think what this show does well is that it shows you how easy it is to just do a deal with the devil, it embraces what it means to be a human. Like we’ve all wanted to get our backs on our bosses like in USS Callister or would do anything to keep a loved one alive like in jack and Carrie.
Totally agree with the other stuff you said-- the pain addict story was a bit predictable, but maybe that's just me being picky. The electric chair felt like a mash-up of White Christmas and White Bear lol, and the "cookies" thing is terrifying but a bit overused. Also, I was really let down by the ending. Obviously Black Mirror has "bad endings" all the time, but usually those spark thought or intrigue, or are at least satisfying. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seemed like this one's ending was basically a bunch of plot twists and then a loose end with the monkey. The thought and intrigue pretty much boils down to "Nish and her mom are also terrible people, but hey, at least the guy deserved it. riiiight??" Which is pretty ehh. But hey, I might not like it compared with the rest of the show, but it's still pretty good compared to other tv.
I finished every episode yesterday as I absolutely love Black Mirror, but this season is unbelievably off balance with the other 3 seasons. This episode explores 3 different story lines which were all individually better than the majority of the storylines in the series. I understand that possibly this series uses similar technologies throughout to develop on the idea of a Black Mirror universe, but it comes across as absolute laziness. Anyone watching series 4 will likely take note that storylines appear to be made from recycled old technologies. Digital Consciousness, People in games, Seeing what other people see... the only technology from this series that is different from previous series is the idea of putting a consciousness into another persons psyche, AND THIS WAS A MINI-STORYLINE ON THE FINAL EPISODE!!
Totally agree. Compare S01 to this and it's like a different show. There were kernels of amazingness but nothing great. I felt like the 'twist' aspect of the episodes now means you look for it, and it's easier to spot the endings.. Something just felt off about this season to me. And the shared universe being drummed into our brains is actually getting a bit too much for me. I liked the subtlety of the earlier seasons.
I absolutely agree...but, did this season even have twist endings? It seemed to me that this series was more about following individual stories then having dramatic plot twists. The few episodes from this series that did have plot twists (Hang the DJ & Black Museum) are the two episodes that everyone liked. Black museum’s plot twist was dull and didn’t change how we thought of the episode anyway since her relationship to her father was revealed before the revelation that her mum is in her head...hopefully season 5 will bring new technologies, new story arks, interesting new characters and I prey that they come back to making episodes about the real world people which is clearly what the fan base want more of! M Hutch
Yeah, good point, I guess it was more seeing people's agendas from far off and knowing who the villians would be, I guess I'm mixing up predicability and twists - this season was really predictable compared to the earlier ones. I cringed in ArkAngel when she became a teen, because then the direction the story took was so obvious. Showing her as a fucked up 6 year old was way more intriguing and I wished the story stayed there. The memory machine in Crocodile - how do people have photographic recollections of people they had in peripheral vision? I'm gonna stop here coz I could keep going for awhile, haha... I felt like none of the episodes were anywhere close to s1-2 (even 3!). And you're so right about Black Museum, I hope there's more real world people and less 'simulations' and cookies. There's so much they haven't explored, and so much they can do, they can littlerly do anything they want!
Jonathan Marable I'm sorry that you feel this way. You don't have to read or respond to my posts so please keep this in mind in the future. I apologies for you being troubled by my opinions...
I'd have to say that Black Museum was my favorite episode. It had some pretty strong emotional aspects, interesting concepts in technology, a surprising twist, and a pretty satisfying ending. I did have some minor complaints with the episode though, but they were not enough to push it out of the top spot. Two of my complaints were the first story taking that sadistic turn with the doctor. The doctor became addicted to fear and pain to the point of murdering someone. Since the people in the other two stories were much more sympathetic victims, I feel that the doctor in the first episode should have died when the patient he was connected to died from poisoning. The device would have been discontinued because people felt it was too much of a risk to be connected to a patient when doing so could mean death for the doctor. The second thing I had a problem with was near the very end when we saw that the daughter had placed her mother's consciousness inside of her. I think it would have had a stronger impact if both of her parents were dead and gone, and how they did the placing of the consciousness for this procedure looked a bit goofy and not what you would expect if this procedure were real. I would have imagined more of a fusion or a multiple personality, where one moment you could be talking to the first person, but then the next moment you could be talking to the second person.
i was surprised at how long it took the doctor dude to realize he could just hurt himself. no need to hurt your girlfriend if pain is all you're after. there's also a machine you can use to simulate the pain of giving birth, so just have a nice long go on that. as for fear, fine, hire someone to torture you on their schedule and without a safeword. that should do it. all in all i thought the jumps he made from sadism to self harm to murder were predictable but melodramatic and not very believable. story two. i love aldis hodge and he did a great job of making a difficult premise feel real. the wife, on the other hand, was not believable AT ALL. not that she had a lot to work with. the monkey stuff was pretty horrifying though. i find it hard to believe the kid (and husband) would just let a museum have it, though. speaking of which, how did the museum guy get ahold of the lollipop from callister? even if nanette didnt get rid of it, how did museum guy even know it existed, or the story around it? even if he did, how did he find it? i would've liked a little more guilt from aldis character and his new girlfriend at the monkey's fate. i mean, come on. story three. easily the best one, and the one this episode really needs, since the other two (especially the first) are pretty bare bones. i liked how the murder case showed up briefly during the first two stories. i also liked the oh shit realization about the water, before she actually admits it. i'm not sure i understand how her mother, dead from pills and booze, ended up inside her head. the actual revenge was great though. extremely satisfying. i like that she took the monkey, and basically the entire ending. there's still some fridge horror about all the thousands of copies of her father trapped in souvenirs, though.
If Black Mirror episodes are Rupaul’s Drag Race contestants, Metalhead and Crocodile would be the filler queens, and Black Museum would be Bianca Del Rio.
Ok but am I right in thinking that it’s called black museum because it holds all the artifacts from past black mirror episodes and the only items explained in this episode from the museum were the ones that weren’t past featured but explaining them made it so now they were part of a black mirror episode and now belonged in the black museum which is an homage to all past horrors highlighted in black mirror episodes?
Another tiny reference is when Rolo pokes the girlfriend in Pain addict with a pencil, Might be a nod to the moment in Arkangle when she stabs herself with a pencil. Both in the same finger
Nobody seems to have caught the gas station named BRB...could be referencing the episode ‘be right back’ as it was also about transferring consciousness or the idea of it.
This episode wrapped everything up too neatly for me. Plus this season really did rely a bit too heavily on the digital conscious thing, with CSS Callister, Hang The DJ and Black Museum all centered around the same kind of tech, which was a bit much. I did appreciate how it showed the different stages of that tech's development though, would just have liked a bit more variety.
actually none of those 3 had the same tech? USS Callister was an immersive game simulation, Hang the Dj was a simulation run by a computer for a dating app that they actually have no interaction with at all, and Black museum had transferred consciouses and pain. Playtest and USS callister had similar tech, and white Christmas and carrie's story in black museum are almost the same, but that's the point; everything in black mirror is made in the same universe and a majority of the tech if not all comes form the same company, TCKR. The point of black mirror isn't to introduce different kinds of tech, it's display it's affect on society. They could have the exact same tech in every episode and it wouldn't matter.
Im probalbly looking far too deep into this. But am I the only one who thinks that the teddy bear might explain episode 5 "Metalhead" a bit more. The reason for her wanting to get the teddy bear was not to make the dying kid happy, but also a way of keeping him "alive"?
Could be, but we don't really know if this technology exists in the world of Metalhead. They didn't seem overly advanced other than robotic guard dogs gone full-blown Terminator.
This one was for me the best of all four seasons. I loved every moment of it! I laughed and cryed and was shocked and terrifyed at the same time. It was amazing!!!
"Easter egg" doesn't it refer to well "easter" when you have to "search" for eggs. My point is, that they are given to us, you don't need to search for anything, it is not hidden
hi, ok so i just finished watching this episode and i noticed something. i don't really know where to post this random though but i thought here would be the best place to start. anyway , if anyone out there has ever listened to the Ricky Gervais show, with Steven Merchant and Karl Pilkington, you'll probably remember when Ricky and Steve, asked Karl about any movie ideas he had. Karl being the famous idiot he is, proceeded to tell a story of a man, in a loving relationship with his wife. the man gets hit by a van and is in a coma. a doctor aproaches the woman and asks if they want to try a procedure that puts the mans consciousness into the womans mind. this story is the exact one told midway through this episode. i'm not sure if this reference was on purpose but i think it is quite likely as Karl Pilkington is very big here in the UK, so the writer Charlie Brooker who is also English may well have heard of him. midway through writing this comment i searched this on google and what do you know, other people also recognised it. check out the link if you want. metro.co.uk/2017/12/30/karl-pilkington-predict-two-stories-black-mirror-season-4-7192873/
Question: If almost every item in the museum was a part of previous episodes, does that mean Rolo Haynes is responsible for the majority of the events that have happened across the show?
I love love love technology and AI. Not worried about anything bad happening cause my Jeannie assistant told me that self actualization is at least 45 years away (LOL) As far as I,m concerned The Black Museum is an Emmy worthy episode, OMG SPOILER Alert: Wasn't Clayton really innocent though? That's why he told Rollo to get the evidence that can exonerate him, but Rollo has different ideas and wants to exploit Clayton so Rollo lets Clayton get convicted of a murder that he may not have committed. "Monkey Loves You " When that woman (Clayton's new love) threatened the doll I really empathized with this piece of fabric, OMG so in the end I was like: "Don't forget the monkey!" (I have NO problem suspending my disbelief and anthropomorphizing a doll, all because of that sweet voice) Monkey Need A Hug. And who doesn't like vintage Dionne Warwick? The ending was faintly reminiscent of how the music payed at the end of san junipero. The director was definitely trying to pull at my heartstrings and succeeded. I paid no attention to look for any Easter eggs.
I think the reason Rolo was in the souvenir keychain is because since Clayton was a shell of himself, he wasn’t really in his mind. So when she transferred Rolo’s consciousness to Clayton’s body we see Rolos conscious
My top favourite episodes of this season 1. Black museum 2. USS Callister 3. Hang the DJ 4. Arkangel 5. Crocodile 6. Metalhead I liked all of the episodes tho
While I was watching this episode, I kept thinking Rolo was the Devil. He would always show up on the last leg of people and promise them this golden grand thing but it always turned to shit after little while in a way stealing their souls
Great video. One minor correction. The company TCKR is probably pronounced like Tucker rather than Ticker, given that the bar in San Junipero is called Tucker's (seen around 40s into the episode).
Daniel Hilburn (my apologies for replying to a post from a year ago) Do you think TCKR (pronounced Tucker) could tie into TuckerSoft from the Bandersnatch movie?
might be my favorite episode of all time damn so dark and twisted i was cringing when the bear was talking with only 2 responses AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! loved it!
I like how the title is black museum, referring to it holding so many black mirror Easter eggs AND it was a place to see the pain of a black man. This episode gave me the feels
It was a great season and I liked the way she took revenge. It's a guilty pleasure. I love revenge films. But I didn't like that they tied EVERYTHING together. I loved the shorts from this episode but the fact that an object from every episode since season 1 is in the museum is just weird.
Anyone else notice that Tommy’s lollipop was still in the DNA transferer after Nannete took the lollipop, it’s a tiny thing but it still really bothers me
Mackenzie Langrell-Read it’s probably a prop or evidence he bought seeing that he has real crime items. So, Nannete did do her part, it just was sold after investigation.
this was my favorite episode (tied with crocodile ) even though the main storyline was super predictable, this episode was more metaphoric then just dark ( lol which it was pretty dark and funny ) happy twist endings are ok but never better than really dark twist endings... I want that car though, and the main character was a great actor
Id like to know how you easily predicted the storyline? There was no hints to the girl being the daughter of the prisoner other than the fact that they were both black. I can see how it could be pieced together that she did poison him with the drink as it became obvious something was up with him as the story progressed, but other than that I wouldn’t say that anyone could easily predict the plot to this episode.
well I have seen Letitia Wright (nish) in other shows so I knew she wasn't American, and it seems that black mirror was trying to place more episodes in American this season than usual, so when "nish" claim to be British in this American episode I knew something was up.but even with knowing the actor, the the way the guy was questioning her about being British and coming to salt lake and traveling by car seems like something that stood out. i had now .I had no clue what was behind the curtain but I could tell it was leading up to her and as soon as the white guy Did open them and showed the convict it was an easy guess. the white guy even says look "o he actually looking at you" a few mins after which was an obvious hint. but maybe it's just me thinking too much into everything
It would be nice if there was actually like...discussion of the episode and not just a summary of what I literally just watched. This show begs to be analyzed and I can’t find anyone that goes in depth...
The irony of Jack and Carrie story is that she ends up in the same vegetative state only being able to essentially say yes or no once again. I hope she gets freed to the Cloud, or a shell in a future season :) (edit: I just finished the episode and realized you guys addressed this, sorry! haha)
You guys forgot to make clear that the convicted murderer wasn't actually a murderer! - He asked Rolo if he could help him identify his NDA to prove that he wasn't the killer :D - This was the best BM ep this season, def at the same scale as the previous seasons. High tier
This was a great episode. I might be the only one but did anyone else get a series finally kind of vib from this episode? Just the way everything was presented and all the easter eggs linking to other episodes in this and past seasons not to mention the name of the episode itself Black Museum sounds like a perfect send off for the show. Just a thought.
I liked the three story’s as the finale reminded me of white Christmas I thought it was interesting how the guy was reading a 15 million merits comic book confirming that the timeline of this episode is past that futuristic episode makes me wonder if that was a small group of people subjected to ride on bikes to power the world or what? very great episode loved the Easter eggs!
