The tree incident brought back a huge memory! My sister and I had been really bad one day, and he told us to go out, and get a switch. So we went and got a little twig and brought it to him. He told us 3x to go and get a bigger one. So with tears in our eyes we went and got the biggest one we could find aka the entire tree. When we came back home my dad saw it and started busting out laughing. We didn't get spanked that day. We were sooooo lucky!!!

@@roastingpotato for me I have Hispanic parents so when I was young they were really strict and it didn't really help much. Some did but they just made a better liar and made me not want to tell them anything. Now it's better but still, I lie to them a lot. Parents think that just because of your strict or yell at the kid it will make them more responsible but in reality, they just traumatize you
