Evils D, Beat Minerz, Dj Permier, and Havoc from Mobb deep beats capture 90s east coast hip hip basement vibes. I would include Wu tang Rizza beats but 36 chamber album beats sound like someone crawled up out the gutter below the basement and produced those tracks. Make you feel like you being dragged through the dirt. I mean that in a good way.
I thought Columbia jackets were relatively "new" compared to the other vintage labels of the late 80s early 90s.. can't believe how many brands were big before the current era. Even North Face was big in the streets before the mid 90s era
don't care what no one says black moon 🌒 and m.o.p had so much energy and presence the epitome of hardcore Brooklyn hip-hop facts sure Jay and big had the most hits and slick rhymin but buck n five and Billy n fame had the rawness
@@LITMOVIESCENES I think it was label politics I don't think it was because of the lack of talent they had the "it" factor there were way too many hip hop groups for one era you know wack people get put on first.
Aaaaaah the late night STRETCH ARMSTRONG & BOBITO Days when you would have either a 90 minute MEMOREX or TDK Cassette tape ready to record and BOO YAH KAAAY BLACKMOON pops up
Im a rap music check me on 3rd bass and check me on RU-vid and you will like 3rd bass and im a rap music on 3rd bass and name is mc check out 3rd bass im 3rd bass😃
Punk/hardcore and rap were the best at the beginning than the establishment took just the form but 99.9999 % of the "artists" lost the attitude, the soul and the meaning of music. Form without content, an empty shell.
i remember first seeing these brothers on video music box on ch.31 nyc and they had a live version of enta da stage and they had so much energy, jumping and bouncing all over the place lol, i don't think they had gotten signed yet and then a few months later the video and album dropped...ahh the days of hip hop...
@@depimplifeainteasy2880 oh yes I cannot get his voice out of my head it's so I don't even know how to describe it I enjoy it when he sounded mad and angry lol.
Looks like those OG COLUMBIA Jackets ! This olllddd school EARLY 90’s BROOKLYN SHIT! We had to prepare for the COLD! This is BEFORE THE NORTHFACE bubbles NORTHFACE GORTEX joints. BK FOREVER
Black moon was dope with the shouting chorus. Load the clip bust… lead to the…nappy head dread buckshot n ball head Buck town Act like I want it Buckem down
Love the baseline. I think its the baseline from Love TKO by Teddy but just sped up. It has that chillin at a hip hob bar sippin on some "yak", puffin a "L" feel to it. I liked Black Moon but they were hardcore. So we're these lyrics. Shoulda used a harder beat. I heard a cat at a freestyle joint flowin to dis beat but no cussin and talkin mellow, just like the mellow beat. But glad Black Moon put it out there. It's on my all time REAL hip hop, golden age collection, part 2.
You can tell they did this they self & they label ain't put enough in on them then he came out with I Gotchu Opin remix then they started blowing up. Honestly Black Moon I Gotchu Opin & M.E.T.H.O.D. MAN & Tupac I Get Around took over the radio when I was coming up
5 foot .. Rarely rapped .. This was my 1st tyme hearing Him .. Makes Me wonder why he didn't go in often cause he good .. They could have competed with Mobb deep on a duo tip
