This ride was nice and cool with the looming rain clouds. Luckily we never got wet. This route is what I refer to as the 50/50 ride. 50% dirt and 50% road. We start with 18 miles or dirt ending atop Black Mountain which offers spectacular views. WE then take a nice bike path straight to the ocean for arguably one of the most iconic Pacific Hwy views in San Diego.
