@@Spratty-wb3is It's entertaining lol. Joking aside though I've been playing it for the last few hours on my ultrawide with RT on very high, cinematic preset, DLSS quality it averages around 65 to 75 fps depending on the area. With frame gen its 95 to 120 fps. The beginning area is supposed to be the more demanding area.
@TerraWare entertaining has a limit 😂... That performance sounds good. I'm definitely pushing it a bit on this. I'm probably dropping to 45 at points with framegen carrying me to 90. I struggled with that wolf boss fight and it's either a serious skill issue or frame gen lag 😂.. FSR at 4k doesn't actually look that bad and takes a little of the oversharpening away. The water when moving looks terrible though.
@@Spratty-wb3is Yeah really good so far. Noticed some visual sort of ghosting around the character at times but that seems to be a game issue because I tried it on TSR, XESS AND FSR and it happens on both Apart from that graphics good in the world and really like the make up of the game 👍 Still got an addiction to the First descendant tho 🤣
@RJTHEGAME I found FSR to look better than TSR. TSR looked a bit shimmery to me where as FSR has some ghosting. I find the shimmer worse. I'm loving the game. This game and First Descendant have been my best games this year..
@@Spratty-wb3is Same for me dude, both games i'm really loving & Yeah FSR surprised me, XESS looks wrong on this game for me, TSR not great either FSR looks cleaner best option if ain't got DLSS I turned it up scaling to 68 FSR which is quality mode because noticed the game drops it down to 66 when i set to 67, then 67 when set to 68 lol No idea why, I think they will hopefully some visual issues as well. Performance feels fine on the latest driver 👍
Btw I tried FSR Ultra Quality last night which is 77 Resolution scale. I found that to run well with FG on top Got about a 60fps before FG I did turn on path tracing briefly out of interest, but it looks terrible on AMD, it's got lots of artifacting and tanks performance as you'd expect It's clearly not designed to even look good on AMD, I noticed the same thing on Cyberpunk. AMD users best off avoiding path tracing on any game that has it
@RJTHEGAME Yeah Terra did a video of full RT on the 4090 and XTX and they look completely different. Even the shadows etc, which was really odd. Game looks incredible with out it though so it's not a huge issue..
what is your undervolt profile for this game. quick question if I set the mV to 1120 on the 7900xtx with a max frequency of 2500 will that be different then going with 1160 or will it make no difference going higher and doing 1160 mV will be more stable no no difference really at all?
@blocky623 I'm not running an undervolt right now.. 1120 should give you a lower power draw slightly and be more likely to be less stable. The more you drop the voltage the further you need to drop the boost clocks to stay in line
Nvidia framegen seems to have issues in this game, i keep getting purple artifacts around the edges of the screen during cutscenes. The only other titles i've seen that in are Immortals of Aveum and Jedi Survivor.
@@Spratty-wb3is Maybe it's cos i have a lower base framerate, i dunno. The game doesn't come with the latest DLSS or framegen versions so i tried dropping those in and still had the same issue.
