Black Myth Wukong NEW Gameplay Demo (No Commentary) 

Here is pretty much the entire footage of Black Myth Wukong that was shown off during last night's livestream. Sorry for the quality of the footage. This footage was taken directly from the livestream.

I love that some bosses don't, actually, have a reason to fight you, like that Scorpion boss. But sometimes you have to anger them, or give them a reason to fight you. So in his case, since he's a drunkard, you make him fight you if you break his alcohol pots, and piss him off that way.

the enemy design and variety is astonishing. Its so creative and unique

This is the trial experience provided to trial players, not just a video. It has a level map and multiple boss combat experiences, expected to be released in the summer of 2024

every time we see new gameplay it just gets more and more epic, this game wont be a letdown, at this point we could be sure. these guys making the game actually care about the game they are making. this is a passion project - and it shows!!!

Looks very promising. Combat looks fluid and hella fast. The thing I like most about the combat at least from what I’ve seen is has responsive it is.

The Tiger Vanguard's stone decoy at 14:55 is so cool. He turns to stone and you wait for him to break out only for him to come swinging from the other direction. The fact that it actually fools the player as intended is awesome.

I been drooling ever since the first teaser trailer. Luuuuv the variety of the enemies attacks. I will be preorder this as soon as it's announced.

Adding different finishing moves at the end of every boss fights would be so amazing. This game is so promising!

This looks unbelievable. I cannot believe this is an actual game. Graphics is amazing. Sound is amazing. Combat is unique, fluid, and just looks fun to play. I didn’t think I’d see anything better than the gameplay trailers and yet here we are. Unreal.

I heard of the story Journey to the West. Never thought it would be turned into a game. Amazing work!

this game is beautiful and the combat looks fluid and eye catching. The one thing I would like to see is the ability to propel yourself up higher using your staff to attack enemies, considering how tall and large most of the bosses are.

When revive, the transformation and sound effect from the fur to the monkey is insane. I like the monkey boss with the sword the most. He's attack is amazing. Wish to have his transformation.

This is the first time I see chinese folklore depicted so well and authentic in gaming. We Chinese all know sun wu kong and this is pretty amazing creation.

This game looks amazing. The animation, the lore, the graphics and the music. This is some next level game design. Can't wait to play this in 2024.

I like it I just hope they optimize the movement on the character more when running an moving to the right or left looks more like his gliding an or the turning when not moving looks like the animation not fully there a bit it’s hard to describe basically more animation into it with turning left or right like how they have in elden ring or new game lords of the fallen fighting an all is amazing tho 🔥 I can’t wait to play this game !!

I can't even begin to imagine the specs needed to run this. The particles such as leaves, snow deformation, and how the skulls at the cockroach boss reacted to their movements, it's next level attention to detail

The Tiger boss design reminds me of Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda.

Alright, this looks absolutely phenomenal. I can't say how interesting and fluid combat is from the first experience, but from the outside it looks very dynamic. All bosses shown are incredible both visual and movement wise - and they look tough! I was especially impressed by the war cry of the scorpio boss while he was doing his claws combo, sounded so cool, bombust and intimidating! The art design of this game rivals Elden Ring and I say it as a devoted souls fan. The snake woman was both beautiful and ...wrong looking. The white insectoid guy waw utterly repulsive. The tiger was majestic and terrifying at the same time. Now, I only hope that the lore and story keep up with visuals and combat, then we have definitely the game of the year right here. Cant wait.

Game looks great! And I will definitely buy it, day one. Very interested in the story and of course the stunning graphics and visuals. It does kinda suprise that that very dynamic snow that we saw in the first tech demo, isn't as dynamic anymore in the playable demo. As far as I can see, that is!

1/They should add the finish move at the end of every fight, that would be interesting 2/ The game now lacks of the CLANG CLANG sound from weapon impact, i hope they could add it later, for better sound experience

bruhh there is this THINGG with the movement of the mobs even the bosses, God its its beautiful

What makes this game look so promising and fun is how creative the combat looks(including the bosses move sets) and just the anticipation of having no idea what kind of enemy or boss you'll be fighting next

One thing i noticed and hope the deva can improve is the movement animations. Wukong feels a bit "floaty", and sometimes looks like his feet are slipping on the ground.

In Chinese mythology, demons often take on a human form, because they were either human before but betrayed by some other human and died with a vengeful heart or they want to one day become god through prayer and practice. And human on the other hand are often worse than demons. hence the love and hate relationship is always a main theme in Chinese mythology, I would love to see the story behind each monster, probably very interesting and sad. In short term, demons are not always bad, and human are not always good, that’s why Chinese mythology is so interesting.

the walking/running animation really weird when turning or turning the camera, and sometimes it looks like it sliding. And sometimes the camera movement looks really janky, especially when the camera hit/collide with object behind it. But overall it looks really promising for the game, damn hope itll get better and better

one of my biggest concerns since the first trailers is the way the character walks and runs, its a bit odd, but they havent changed it, it looks like its all over the place and slipping

Is every encounter pretty much a boss fight? Will there be groups of enemies?

While the levels arent the challenge themselves like the souls games, the boss fights are genuinely creative and difficult. I hope that quality is consitent thoughout a game. This is actually shaping up to be a good one.

It's great to see more off this game, yes yes I know that graphics aren't everything, as some people would say, but I like a game that looks beautiful, been playing recently both Star Wars Jedi survivor and ffxvi, very beautiful looking games, can't wait for this game to release, it's always nice to see a unreal engine 5 game, there is still quite a wait when it releases, but it will come, until then I will be getting both fort solis and immortals of aveum this week, they will be my first official games that use unreal engine 5 and later in October, lords of fallen, definitely a great time for gaming I hope that people have a good and happy time playing their favourite games, after all what is life, if one can't enjoy it once in a while
