This is my new favorite go-to song for covers.... An obsession with my younger brother of 6 years. Our previous go-to song for covers, and still is sort of, is Black Sabbath's "Fairies Wear Boots", which, as any Sabbath fan will tell you, is a bluesy number as well as being in the metal genre by wrought, and of course has a touch of jazz in that tune. But Black Napkins is now becoming my favorite obsession. It's a hard song to fuck up BN thx to FZ.... and the artist here, speaking to you directly Rastop1, you've taken this the other way. Truly a fantastic cover played with genius and imagination. You did your homework, and you gifted this song along the way. The rest of the band is awesome. Kudos.
Great rendition guys: C#min7th>>>Dmaj 7👏.TREMENDOUS vamp👏 Fantastically intense solo guitar playing with that reggae beat. FVZ would have loved this version. All musicians superb...BLACK NAPKINS to the next level👋
What a wonderful version. Superb lead guitar and that keyboardist👍. Fantastic ensemble playing with each listening to each other’s playing...👍👏👏👏. Great quartet of players...
Absolutely phenomenal cover version of this song!!!!!!! I absolutely love to play my drums along with video. The drummer is fantastic. His groove is so solid, and his playing is emotive. You feel his playing deep down in your funk bone 🦴
Thanks to your video, a new day starts with guitar and harmonica. I really appreciate how grateful your precious video is to me at this moment. With a precious relationship, I would like to give you praise and support with sincerity and sincerity. How did you have such a wonderful talent that is full of the mysterious charm of your video? I was amazed at the excellence of your skills and was moved by your sincerity and hard work while watching the video. Thank you for making my everything so happy for a while just for the reason I watch your video. I hope your video will bloom as a flower in my heart and stay as a flower of undying love for a long time. I'm looking at your video like a dream.. I want my heart to reach you someday. Under the lonely wind and the purple-colored winter sky, it came to my phone This is your video. I will cherish your beautiful image like the starlight in an empty space in my heart. When I close my eyes, you are clear and your shining image becomes cooler Wouldn't it be great if my playing could become a purple star in the morning and my heart could reach you? Thank you for making my everything so happy for a little while because of one reason I watch your video. As the algorithm introduced, I just looked down and suddenly the first picture caught my eye, and when I looked up again, I saw your video. Why does your video on my RU-vid window look so beautiful and good? Watching your video under the cold winter sky at dawn is so beautiful and enchanting. It is your video that I want to watch over and over again, even if I watch it over and over again.
Great reggea beat ,overplayed ahead of the beat guitar solo, but excellent, excellent, excellent, did i say excellent keyboard solo that really captures the feel of this masterpiece.
Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, Tommy Mars on keyboards, Arthur Barrow on bass, Ed Mann percussion....! Great rendition of an FZ Classic. The point about the Dweeze is that having Frank as yer dad is a crushingly huge shadow to get out from. Ex-band members barely managed not becoming a caricature of what Frank made them. It's hard to become your own person, musically, imaginatively, after Frank. Although competent, I don't get the feeling that the guitar is truly Dweezil's thaing: he's not free...
Now we know what Jeff Beck covering Frank sounds like. :) And, its very very GOOD! Seriously good chops all around, guys! One more thing: Get that kid some ear plugs! LOL!
Феноменальное исполнение. Кстати, есть в городе Вильнюсе памятник Фрэнку Заппе. Возможно, стоило бы этот вариант проигрывать около памятника на день рождения автора.
I agree... if you mean he is an awesome guitar player but we both know too that he doesn´t have an actual Dweezilian way to play the guitar, he knows his father gear and knows how to use it, but he´ll -and this is sad- never create a master piece of his own... so I say Dweezil is a zappa but NO the Zappa, like the frame whithout the picture.
