Legit Black Noir is my favorite character in the show. Hes just there not giving a shit about what going on and keeps to himself.

I strongly believe Black Noir is not a clone of Homelander in the show because we saw him get injured from attacks that would have bounced off Homelander so he clearly doesn't have Homelander's durability nor equivalent strength from what we've seen. Also during the public reveal of compound V he was seen whimpering in his own way over the news so he was unaware of his origin. But he could still be a specially trained agent supremely loyal to Vought meant to kill Homelander should he get out of control. Since we just saw how obedient he is to Edgar in episode 5 of S02 that might be the case. Noir might be the reason Edgar is not afraid of Homelander or the other supes, because he has a perfectly obedient lapdog to protect him.

While Black Noir did kill Homelander, he didn't 'easily' kill him. You can see that when Black Noir flies out onto the battlefield with the remains of Homelander in his hand, you can see that Homelander really did a number on him. Most of his muscle tissue is gone, his body is burned to a crisp and his intestines are hanging out. And Homelander did all of that AFTER Black Noir punched his lower jaw off in the second panel they started fighting in. So to say Homelander was easily defeated and 'one-shot', I completely disagree. By assessing the damage done to Black Noir, Homelander put up a hell of a good fight. Furthermore the damage Homelander did to Black Noir was the main reason he fell to his knees. This was most certainly not because of the gun fire. While it may have damaged him it was nothing compared to what Homelander did to Black Noir, but in his extremely weakened state, it was enough to get him on his knees. In other words, it was more or less inconsequential because Black Noir was likely going to fall to his knees anyway. What really finished him off was Butcher who was only able to break through Black Noir's skull only because of the damage Homelander had done or because of his compound V or both. Anyway - You downplayed Homelander way too much here. He lost to Black Noir but barely

I find it amusing when Black Noir was staring at Starlight. Clearly with xray vision.

He didn’t one shot Homelander. They fought while butcher got away and black noir walks out victorious. However black noir was totally jacked up. His left arm had no tissue just bone. His face was tore up. He was missing a chunk from his midsection. He was barely alive when they started shooting him. That’s when butcher popped his skull and squished his brain

As someone who hasn't read the comics, this is awesome. Never knew what Black Noir was, but now that I know that he's basically a living weapon to keep Homelander in check makes me love his character even more.

My favorite "The Boys" character is Mother's Milk because he feels like the most reasonable and comprehensive character. He does care a lot about his friends and is, to me, a good father's figure albeit not perfect but everyone has flaws.

Thank god they changed the comic way of the ending because this ending was so interesting and I can’t wait for season 2

Great video, just two mistakes: Black Noir doesn't send the pictures to Homelander. He sends them to Butcher who in turn uses it to blackmail Homelander. Nobody knowing where the pictures came from was also a plotpoint in the comics. Also, Black Noir didn't one shot Homelander or defeat him with ease. When Black Noir comes walking out of the whitehouse after the battle, he's already extremely fucked up by the (now dead) Homelander. It's the reason why Butcher and the rest was able to finish him off.

The Deep has to be my favourite character, such a hilariously tragic storyline, I'd love to see where he goes in season 2 and I can't wait for your video on him!

Black Noir himself. He was so badass in the tv series. Despite his lack of screentime.

3:30 you can see him and Homelander are the same height, build and even striking the same pose. Very subtle.

I read somewhere that they would change many things on the tv series. They don't want the comics to dictate this, while they still want them to keep the interest. They're doing a great job in my opinion

I’m glad that the series is so different from the comics, makes me curious of what they’re gonna do next. Some differences I don’t like, some I find interesting, some of the changes got better when they flesh them out more… but there are some differences I don’t like… hopefully some will be fleshed out to be more interesting.

Black Noir didn't one shot Homelander. They almost fought to a draw, Black Noir came out of that fight super weak with half his face missing.

Voughts biggest mistake was making noir only so he could kill homelander. They should've brainwashed him from a young age to follow their every order so he could be their perfect assassin, while homelander could be their perfect superhero. Also I kinda wish we got to see homelander vs black noir. Homelander could've burnt half of black noirs face, with noir punching a hole through him. It would've been epic.

The fight between Black Noir and The Girl was one of my favorite scenes in The Boys TV series, which made me more invested in The Girl, putting her at the top of my list of favorites in the Boys team.

The dude is pretty sturdy. He was in the mission to stop the plane crash in the comic but he fell off. This foreshadowed how he was hard to kill since even the guy narrating the story says it's a mystery how he survived the fall. I do wonder how this will reveal will play out in the series.

If Black Noir is an exact clone of Homelander, in the series he doesn't seem like it. He was shown to be susceptible to burns (explosives), bullets and nails. It was clearly shown he was injured, he just never reacted to the pain, unlike Homelander, who seemed to have impenetrable skin. Like this dude said, Black Noir never showed signs that he can fly, has laser vision, and super strength, perhaps only enhanced strength. If anything he was portrayed to look and move stealthily, like a ninja. Someone in the comments said it, at first glance he looks like Snake Eyes from GI Joe, and is very similar in ways that both dont speak, both are ninjas, use similar weapons, we see knives or probably swords on Black Noir's back, similar to Snake Eyes samurai sword at his back if I'm not mistaken, and both are completely covered from head to toe in tactical black. If anything Black Noir is a complete rip off of Snake Eyes. Think the show is just taking a completely different route on this one.

At least now we all know he’s black as in ethnicity, unless…

I think series Black Noir is actually a clone of Butcher instead. He seems almost like a Deadpool-esque character in the series (but without the mouth.. but not in a shit Wolverine Origins way) but also he seems to be like the ultimate black ops guy - Butcher is ex-SAS and black ops, and considering his wife later worked for the company (it doesn't mention how long for though), there is a good chance they knew who Butcher was. If you were making a supe clone for black ops he's the perfect candidate. Also in the last episode he clearly takes an interest in going after him.

I think the TV show is going a different direction. The contingency plan is Homelander's son.

Favourite character is probably Queen Maeve, they really turned her character around for me and I felt horrible for her during the plane scene. Hopefully you can get around to making a origins explained video on her as im curious if her made up backstory is just the same as Wonder Womans haha

I've only seen 2 episodes but I have to say my favorite is Starlight. She's us, really, as we begin to realize that being a superhero isn't as cracked up as it was supposed to be. She's someone who really wants to help people and thinks as a superhero she will be able to do this.

I don't think Black Noir is that much stronger than Homelander, he just fought smarter while Homelander was blinded by anger but he despite killing him he took a lot of damages from their fight.
