I still don’t understand why they want all games to be packed in one launcher with their crappy CoD HQ. Back then you just simply jump into the game and then load campaign. Now you have to open two applications after the first one. Very tedious. Bonus points for me is they added it into the game pass so I don’t have to pay full, but I’ll play for campaign because multiplayer is cancer in modern CoD games.

I wanted to keep MWIII installed since im not getting BO6, but it forced me to download a 70gb update. I just deleted the COD app altogether, its not worth it anymore. My storage space deserves to be used up with better games
Theres already hackers. Before the game came out. No this is not a joke. Some people got into bo6 before it actually launched with the new zealand trick and got hacks on the game. A couple of clips i found have been floating around where there is footage of people hacking in private matches. This game is already screwed and its day 1
It's because they use the same damn scripts and coding as bo3 and 4 with minor tweaks to bring it into modern specs so hackers just tweak their existing hacks from bo3 & 4 and they work on bo6

They don’t want him man. If you listen to the way he talks about doing the previous black ops games he ended up getting very involved with the way woods was portrayed. He did lots of improvisation and alterations to lines they had for woods if they didn’t feel like how James C Burns felt woods would speak. James C Burns was an actual actor when he was hired for Black Ops 1 and helped Treyarch with doing the Mo Cap and stuff. He had a very strong vision and understanding of woods and I think in Cold War they didn’t want woods to be as crass, tough and didn’t want to deal with someone potentially causing problems with the script and production (as he most likely would’ve done as you can see with his reaction to the stupid “I’m an onion mason” line). He’s a really good actor, especially when it comes to portraying woods but like everything else in modern cod, it has to be dumbed down and safe. Essentially James Burns had an artistic approach to acting and the COD devs are not making art anymore.

Plus, the omnimovement will likely make lobbies even sweatier than before, especially with the rigged SBMM/EOMM already in place. However, with the current rigged SBMM/EOMM system, the addition of an omnimovement is gonna make lobbies even sweatier. Unless there’s a change in matchmaking, no CoD game will truly stand out, doesn’t matter if it has solid progression or other appealing features.

Happened to me. 1st match all great, and amazing went 45-5 after that all hell went lose, lag until 2-5th match packet burst / loss / aim resist and i just went to zombies lol, SBMM is RUINING MULTIPLAYER

It's weird on Steam on how that game still gets "Mostly Positive0" despite of having red flags like Online Required Single Player Campaign, $20 Sound Improvement, etc. , I was expecting to be either Mixed or Mostly Negative.

This might be an unpopular option but, there’s people that are almost prestige master and have almost every gun gold before day one bro (New Zealand and other places) and just on day one and I believe that’s one of the many reasons why games nowadays die fast because a huge majority wants to race em up like it’s fast a furious and wonder why the games boring and they drop it in a month bk they already have everything obtainable in the game on day one. This has been a thing since inception of CoD, and many other games. I think the difference is that back then we didn't have youtube, then when we did we didn't have a huge amount of people streaming cod, watching cod, etc... now it's just everywhere online. Totally different era as far as sharing videos and such.

I LOVE the new movement and the game feels super crisp even at 100 fps. The zombies game mode I used to LOVE but after bo2 it has just gotten so weird. I like simple maps etc. I just wanna run around shooting zombies not fucking magic stuff and weird ass boss zombies.

Had the exact same issue with packet burst BT… Played my first game, thought they fixed it, and next game it was back. But try disabling “gameplay tips” & “tooltips” in the interface settings & fuck around with your VRAM Scale Target if you’re on PC (I personally have mine set to 60). Did those three things this afternoon and I couldn’t believe it but I actually haven’t had any hitching or huge waves of packet burst since then. The packet burst symbol still pops up at the beginning of every match but the last four hours of gameplay have been completely smooth and I’m not skipping around the map every 10 seconds as was the case with every other COD i’ve tried to play on PC
Honestly im kinda dissapointed, the game is fine but its just nothing special, it feels like cold war 2.0 omnimovement edition. The main criticisms i have are that omnimovement doesnt really do much, ive played all day long and the only moments it affects my gameplay is when im trying to go prone and my character dolphin dives backwards even though i have no momentum, so its kinda like a gimmick selling point, i also dont like the fact that they made the camo grind more tedious with the headshots and thanks to that it takes even longer to get them done than it took to get an entire weapon max level and all its camos done, not to mention that they didnt even consider that 100 headshots with sniper its a bit stupid, another thing is that by the time you complete gold, the weapon most likely will still be like 20 levels from max level, so even if it was indeed faster than before you'll still have levels to go through if you want the best build of the weapon, making it so that the entire change to the system does quite literally nothing but waste the players time while making the process more frustating.

I have a theory that packet burst/loss isn’t a 100% a server issue but sbmm. My thinking is when there isn’t enough players to pair us up with people of similar skill they purposely hurt your connection like lag switches used to be back then, with the click of the button connection is now trash. While I’m sure there is naturally occurring packet burst/loss like if you live in the middle of no where for example I think that some of it is done intentionally.
I’ll take it a step further and say the packet burst/ packet loss is EOMM computing for the NPC algorithm. To simple it down it’s ai players controlling the outcomes of gunfights and protecting players that spend money in the COD store. This is the greatest first person simulation shooter you’re all being manipulated by and too blind or stupid to see.
Black Ops 6 is a slight improvement over MWIII 2023, however, I'm definitely done with COD for good. BO6 is Black Ops Cold War but inferior in every way. It's lazily put together (even though it took Treyarch reportedly 4 to 5 years to develop the next COD game, which is the longest development cycle for any given COD game to date), the campaign is utterly predictable, and of course, the gameplay hasn't changed at all. COD is in a major slump period right now, and in my opinion, Activision and its affiliates should call it quits. At this point, I'd rather play Battlefield or Medal Of Honor than COD.
I tried out the game and i can say that zombies is pretty decent and the campain is pretty good also, MP is just destroyed by ‘sbmm’. And yes, i got packet burst on my first game and apparently the game is so broken that it unlocked all achievements after killing one person. I’m not going to lie here i have a pretty poor connection, but i play mmorpg’s and other online games and it just never lags apart from frame dropping when there’s a lot of people on my screen. Call of duty is just the only game that has packet burst, constant lags ever since mw2019. So yeah, if you want to play it for the campain and zombies that’s fair. Play MP at your own risk, but i guarantee you’re not gonna have fun.
I got it from Gamepass and I'm not touching the multiplayer at all. Campaign was cool and I like the zombies. I'm not playing SBMM/EOMM matchmaking multiplayer that makes me have 90+ ping. I could pick literally any game that I play besides CoD and my ping is less than 20. That should be illegal.

It's because they're streaming the game's 4k textures along side the 2008 server connections. They claim it reduces the game's file size. They're doing everything except actually putting in the effort and time to optimize their rushed coding.

The game is good, campaign was amazing, zombies is back and is really fun Maps for MP tho not so great, out of those 16 maps maybe like 3 are actually good. The rest are meh or straight up bad

No one said it's perfect, but we are talking about Vanguard, Modern Warfare Zombies, Cold War and some could argue it did things better than BO4. After 6 years of not much good zombies content we have a really fun game.
Even the campaign has packet lost and my PC is not trash (6950xt + 5600g (5900x RMA coming next week), 32gb ram) neither my internet (Bell Fiber). I was lagging and freezing all the time. So annoying!! PS, for game pass, buy a key from a keyshop and activate it on your account. That's what I did for gamepass PC.
I played 2 matches of multiplayer and noped out of that. Personally I actually really like the zombies, and the campaign is good. But whether or not that's worth 70 bucks to someone who doesn't have game pass is heavily debatable. For me, it's worth it I guess since it's on game pass. It'll be something I hop on from time to time for zombies, but for 6v6 it's XDefiant all the way. XDefiant is without question better than BO6 in my opinion.
Xdefiant is better and it will get more content with better updates. At least in Xdefiant you can get better and not all the riffs mechanics in the past cods since Mw2019

I played 1 game of TDM on BO6.. when I went back on my screen went black, and the game ever went back on. and I took it off my hard drive. I got it on game pass so I had nothing to lose

I don’t know why other people are having issues with BO6. Me and a bunch of other people have it working good. Zombies hits, campaign goes crazy good. I know multiplayer is a little too intense, but still great. In my opinion… I think it’s fun
I haven’t had a single game where I’m not rubberbanding and the packet burst flashes the entire game, every single game. Never once have I ever had that issue before on my set-up. Makes it unplayable. How was that not addressed???!!!

Tried playing the campaign, got to the 3rd mission. Dropped it due to boredom. Tried a round of zombies, quit after wave 15. Exited out of game due to boredom
so i cant play mw3 cuz im trying to save my money and i didnt buy bo6 but apparently the devs dont like it when i load up mw3 so they just throw me a bunch of dev errors connection failed to force me off the game but when i que into a match i get 40% packet loss im rubber banding and the latency gets cranked up to max level it becomes unplayable like wth man i dont need to always buy the new cod i liked mw3 i was going to grind it until mw4 comes out but the devs dont like it unfortunately
