Perkaholic was nice because it gave you EVERY perk in the game, even though there is normally a 4 perk limit. It was incredibly nice because it was the only way to get all the perks at once which was needed for high level runs or speed runs. It was super rare because it was a mega gobble gum, in zombies there’s pretty much loot boxes but the only thing you get from them are gobble gums, so you had to get lucky to get good gobblegums , you could buy them or get them from leveling up

Here's how gobble gums worked in Bo3 Jev, You can select 5 different ones in a special gobble gum create a class and go into game with them You spend points at the machine in your game to randomly get 1 of the 5 on your class At the beginning of a round they're cheap but if you keep on buying them for the one you want the cost goes up They make the game easier and fun by each having special effects exclusive to zombies They don't replace perks or anything they're there own thing The only time you can ever run out of them in game is if you don't have any more in your inventory How you earn them is through a supply drop system, you can earn currency in game so you don't have to pay by buying things in a zombies match and you'd be able to earn around 3-5 pulls a game if you were to just play up until round 30 and buy the minimal things (no ammo farming off the wall, pack a punch farming or box farming) But seeing as how we're getting returning gobble gums and Activision makes money off of store bundles now we don't know how they'll be obtainable this time

In BO3 the more you played, you have the chance to earn "liquid divinium", a microtransaction currency used to spin Dr Monty's factory. You can spend 1,2, or 3 to get random Mega Gobblegums. You also had classics (free). Since the rate at which you earned liquid divinium was low/buy them with cod points back then, it's very rare to get GOOD mega Gobblegums. Note: When you played, you can pick 5 Gobblegums. Classics were an unlimited amount, while megas were limited to how many you had in inventory.

With gobble gums, you collect one type of currency called liquid divinium to then *lootbox* for the “mega” gobblegums to put in your set that you can pull from in game. Rarity wise getting perkaholic is like getting a dlc weapon in multiplayer in BO3 atleast

perkaholics were rare cuz in bo3 you would either spend money to get what was known as liquid divinium to gamble if you could get a good or shit gobblegum. they were not free unless you saved up liquid divinium you would randomly get for opening doors and such.

2:00 To answer ur gobble gum question, in bo3 you’d earn points over a match by spending points (a max cap per game no matter points spent), and you could spend those to randomly get 1-3 gobble gums, and you could use them whenever, most people would just horde them for a really insane zombies match (you could also buy them with real money but I don’t know a single person who did that)

Gobblegums were the lootbox items for BO3. You used currency earned in Zombies match to make random Gobblegums back in the lobby. They aren’t currency, they’re consumables you bring in. Almost like the items you could bring in for the new zombies stuff in MW3. Perkaholic is in the rarest tier of gums, so until they added the mechanic to craft specific gums by combining two or more, you were completely at the mercy of RNG to get it. Also, people would save spent Gobblegums by dash boarding when going down, as that wouldn’t consume your gums.

From what I could tell as I haven't played BO3 at all, the gobblegums were essentially a deckbuilding system where you could amass currency to create random gobblegums, in which they would be selected and dispensed to you in a zombies run, a la Titanfall 1 burn cards. You can accumulate gobblegums and using them spends that gobblegum.

In bo3, you could spin for gobblegums almost like with supply drops with a currency called liquid divinium you earned in game almost like the keys for supplydrops. It pretty much worked like with supplydrops where if u used 3 liquid divinium your chances of getting rare gobblegum were slightly higher but still low. Luckily they later added a feature where you could turn certain numbers of some gobblegum into rare gobblegum. Your rare gobblegum were limited to however many you had (unlimited storage though).

The gobblegums were basically just something you use to have power ups or perkaholic or other stuff and some of them were permanent but the good ones like perkaholic were ones you had to use loot boxes to get and it was a chance of getting them

Jev i know he’s never gonna read this, but I am a true zombies nerd, i got his answers. In bo3 gobblegums had to be equipped, you had 5 slots to use, when you hit the gobblegum machine it will simply give you one of the 5 gums you have equipped randomly. There are things called classic gums and rare gums, Classic gums you have an infinite amount of, but rare gums you don’t have any until you buy them from dr montys factory using the zombies currency called liquid divinium which you slowly get while playing games, but you can also buy with cod points. Which gums you get from montys factory are random, and perkaholic was an ultra rare, meaning if you spend your divinium on 100 gobblegums you might only get 1 perkaholic, this is why you don’t just want to use perkaholics willy nilly, because you would run out and have to try and get more. Hopefully that explains it good enough it was a decently complex system they added in bo3, hard to explain everything in this comment

Gobble gums are an out of game currency that you use like supply drops. Usually only 3 gobble gums a pull and a perkaholic is like the equivalent of getting a new weapon out of a supply drop in terms of rarity

So, for the Gobblegum situation like you were asking: In BO3, as you played, spent points, finished rounds, or did anything to progress, you would have a chance to earn a Currency called Liquid Divinium (LD). Roughly 3 per game if you got to Round 30-ish, and you could spend LD like any other "Supply Drop" Currency. Three LD for a 3 Gobblegum Roll There were 4 "Rarities". Classic - Unlocked through Leveling and Prestige, Unlimited Uses "Mega", "Rare", "Ultra" - Uncommon, Rare, Rarest tiers of Gums that you got through LDs, Each 1 that you rolled was 1 use in a future game So if you pulled 2 Perkaholics, that's 2 Gums you could eat in a game if you wanted, and there were roughly 40-50 of these Rare Gums. Of course, with the Supply Drop system, you could spend CoD Points for more rolls, which made Zombies kind of "Pay To Win", but there was also the perspective of just never using them if you didn't want to, you were never forced to. A very beloved system that I'm glad to see return!

Its so weird. Ive bine watching Jev since before highschool, like grade 7-8. Im now graduated college its bine a year. Time flies by but Jev has never changed never switched up, has always stayed pretty consistently the same. if its like bo3, there are basic free gobblegums, and a machine in the lobby that you can use some kind of currency that you can get on the zombies maps, or spend codpoints to get. But its a machine that gives a random gobblegum like perkaholic or many other ones. Those get put in your inventory and you can select like 5 or 6 different ones to bring into a game where when you use the gobblegum machine you will get a random one that you brought into the game

To simplify gobble gums there are 2 categories; classic and mega. The classics would get unlocked by leveling up like in MP. The megas were gained by purchasing anything while in game to earn liquid divinium. You could then choose to spend the LD to get the mega gobblegum. Much like a supply drop you couldn't choose which gobblegum you got

you get your gobble gums from the main menu. You get the liquid divinium from playing the game, buying doors and whatnot. Then on the main menu you use the liquid divinium to open whats basically a lootbox. Then the gums you get from that you equip before you load in. You can equip like 5 different ones at a time and when you go to the machine during the game you get one of the 5 gums you have equipped.

Sure someone said it but to get good gobblegums like perkaholic you have to craft it using liquid divinium (at least in bo3) you got that from opening doors, completing rounds and killing boss zombies, buying perks etc. It didnt always give you one but you usually get 1 or 2 a game. When you craft you can either spend 1, 2 or 3 liquid div. If you spend 3 you get 3 gums and a higher chance for better gums etc.

the perkaolic gumball’s were also very useful for speed runners to save time and didn't have to go out of their way to rebuy perks, and for Easter Eggs its also very convent to regain all the perks with the press of a button.

1:56 in a nutshell, gobble gums = cheats/special abilities. Examples, free money, knife deals 5x more damage, use ammo from stock, free EVERYTHING for 1 minute, every 10 pts gives you 1 ammo (for the current weapon), gives you pack-a-punch, ALL PERKS, etc. Some are just for fun, like one makes every dead zombie fall to the sky.

In zombies you would use the viles known as liquid divinum to get different types of gobble gums in Dr montys shop but perkaholic was rare as well as shopping free, ect. Also you would get the viles just buying purchasing doors, wall guns, and perks. Lastly you could use 1-3 viles per use but using 3 viles at a time would increase the chance of getting rare gobble gums.

Perkaholic is super rare. I have been playing it for 3 years since it's release and only have gotten 10 of em. Back then u get gobblegums by using a currency called liquid divinium. U would use 1 divvy to get 1 gobblegum at random(like a slot machine). If u use 3 divides at once u would get 3 gobblegums and increases the chance of getting the rare ones

If zombies are early access, that would most likely allow you to level up guns early since I doubt they will separate gun levels in zombies and multiplayer. Would be really nice for the camo grind and also help you Jev in getting the zombies camo before you even step foot in multiplayer

But they have a set of gobblegum that are free infinite use ones that aren’t as strong

No so gobblegums are kind of like Loot Crates. You can spend money to spin them between games, or spend in game currency you earn but it’s very slow that way. Maybe on or two gobble gum per game. You select which gobble gum you take into the game with you like a loadout

Basically you get crafting materials to craft 3 random gobblegums with different rarities (perkaholic being the rarest) and then in your loadout u can equip it to then use it in game

The gobblegums will return will original gobblegums from bo3 and bo4 gobblegums which are elixirs. The 3 types are ultra rare Megas, rare Megas and uncommon megas. I'm glad they're returning it

In BO3 you had classic gobblegums which you got infinite of and were free, and you had mega gobblegums which you had to roll for with liquid divinium and were not infinite. You basically rolled for them, but it looks like it'll be changing a bit with b06.

Gobblegums like perkaholic were locked behind the loot box method (liquid divinium factory) let’s hope that doesn’t happen again as i had to do exploits back in the day bc I refused to pay for that sheit

Bo3 came out in 2015 and I’ve had 2 perkaholic gobble gums in all that time. Thats how rare.

Here's why the candies were busted af: Peopl would use their mega rare candies (perkaholic, shopping free, power vacuum, etc...) and then would close the game instead of dying in order to conserve them (yes, it was a thing...). It basically trivialized the game so that even a baby could play and ruine pub matches. Also, perkaholic wouldn't make any sense in BO6 because I'm pretty sure there won't be a perk limite just like cold war. (It's a rabbit Jev, not a bear 😂😂)

gobblegums are items that give you benefits in game for example you could get one that would spawn in power up like max ammo, nuke and so on but perkaholic would give you all perks that you can buy separately in the match like speed cola and so on but gobblegums had rarity's so a perkaholic gobblegum would be rare to get from the way you had to earn them and the drop rate was really low but I'm sure they made it to where you could spend real money in order to get a chance to get more so most zombie RU-vidrs would just put a shit ton of money in the game to get a lot fo perkaholic gobblegums.

How gobblegums worked in BO3: You would spend 3 liquid divinium which is a currency you can get in game or buy and spin to get 3 random gobblegum

its not about player retention as much as it's about just getting people to initially buy it

Perkaholic if I had to put a number on it is probably like 1/150 spins in dr Monty’s machine. And u get like one spin for a 20-30 min game. Jev you should play bo3 zombies.

Jev you get gobble gums by unlocking doors and opening the box, witch gives you currency that you spend in the lobby giving you a random chance at any gobble gum. (The chance at getting a percaholic is a 1 in a couple hundred) Hope this helps :)
