@@landrychamberlain5037it was a fan-made client for i believe mw2 remastered. basically it did what cod Online and Mobile did, it brought maps, guns, characters and features from every cod into one game. it started gaining a lot of attention and Activision ending up sending them a cease and desist, which sadly made them shut down development
@@landrychamberlain5037 It was like a mod using the MW2 2009 engine that added things like fan favourite modes, maps, weapons, basically everything the fans want from the golden age and for FREE. However Activision sent a "Cease and Desist" to the devs and were forced to shut down, but they may be restarting production for it.
@@MysticalHaloZ It originally was being made on the 09 MW2 engine as a free mod, but you had to buy MW2 on Steam, sorta like how FiveM for GTA works. But the process of making the game became hard cause of the limitations with the old engine so they swapped to the MWR engine. But where they went wrong was publicly saying in Discord that you didn't need to buy MWR to play the mod, indirectly promoting piracy, which is why Activision stepped in and shut it down, they were protecting their property. If the devs made sure people had to buy MWR then it would have been fine.
I don't know how this would go, but something that might be worth at least a try, is just every now and then bringing one or two guests onto the podcast who are just fans who watch and listen to the podcast, I know there's the risk of someone spurting something out that ruins the fun, but if you have a Discord specifically for this channel, you can learn which fans are the most respectable and those specific people can have a chance to be brought on, most COD youtubers aren't casual players, so it'd be nice to give the casual audience a louder voice, and I think it could really build up this podcast's community in a nice way if it goes well
Games should either have a paid battle pass with no store, or a paid store with either a free battle pass or no battle pass. Why do they have to squeeze as much money out of our pockets as possible? Just make the battle pass free with some basic skins for casuals who don't wanna waste money on store skins but want some little things that allow them to personalize their gameplay a little bit and keep the paid stuff in the store. I feel like that's fair when they charge a lot for the base game and a ton for some skins, just make a free battle pass for casuals to have something to work for... I will die on this hill lol.
I 100% agree and you know why they have to squeeze every last dollar out of your pocket. It’s the most cynical answer I can give so I won’t. We’ve been banging that drum for years. But just know. I do agree. Paid store. Or paid battle pass. Not both
People need to stop calling it the " The Cod killer". Both games can coexist in the same genre, one doesnt need to "die" so the other can succeed. Whats funny is that these are the same people that say "Cod is dead and it needs competition" welp we have a competitive option right here and all yall now say "Xdefinant is overhyped and dead" meaning the cod will stay the exact same selling bundles and nothing more. Tdawg is right that certain cod players are jaded and will never be satisfied
If Microsoft/activision can get their head out of their ass and give the zombies community an actual compelling story with good maps and round based they would gain SO many OG zombies players who are still playing bo3/bo4 because they won’t touch this new garbage that they call MWZ, they would have been better not having a zombies mode that leaves a bad taste in round based lovers mouths to where we are highly skeptical of anything that comes out nowadays…. Just crazy how you go from the goats of b02 and b03 to where we are now, its just sad
I don't really blame them for lacking zombies content because they just aren't good a making engaging or even semi quality zombies content, even treyarch has been struggling with that post 2015
Small correction for Chopper at 41:38, they said it was the most played CO-OP mode in any Modern Warfare game, not the most player CO-OP mode in any COD game. So honestly, that statistic wasn’t even that impressive to begin with because being more played than Spec Ops modes isn’t really an accomplishment lol
I took cod being on Gamepass a completely different way, way I seen it was why would they risk putting the game on game pass if the game isn’t good especially with a title like cod all the money they would lose by having it on Gamepass then no one is buying the game for full Price and just basically trial playing the game for $20 for a month I personally love the marketing for this game but don’t have much faith in the game only hope I have is just because it’s treyarch
Speaking on free to play games with bundles. Let's take a look at valorant. Bundles range from 70, 80, 90, 100+. I mean... Its insane. GRANTED!!!!! Valorant does have the best gun and knife skins in all of FPS and its not close. Apex Legends is somewhat of a contender but ehhh. Call of Duty skins aren't even in the conversation. Like guys one knife skin. ONE KNIFE SKIN is 45 dollars. Now obviously CSGO has crazy resale prices. But you could randomly pull a 10,000 dollar knife without spending a dime. So doesn't count. So umm... Be happy with our 20-30 dollar bundles okay😁. That money can get you only ONE gun skin in Valorant
As someone who started with cod 3 I loved mw3 zombies. I really wish it had more support. It's new and refreshing. Round based is fun but limited in my opinion.
Not head shots only. Aimbot only wallers only . Cheaters only which is all going to get transferred over to Blackops 6 . You all no that’s going to happen 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻. Which is wrong . Even on multiplayer. Joke business 🤔🤔
