I don’t think people realize how big dragon ball sparking zero is, that particular style of dragon ball has been in high demand for almost a decade. The budokai games have always been very big.

A good reason Sparking Zero is selling as good as it is, is because this is by far one of the most anticipated games of the year. Altough I still find it baffling this game is number 1 on nearly all platforms, beating Call of Duty on PS5 which from what I know is the highest audience especially. And this is also why because this game is made by talented devs that care about the game and the community. Unlike Activision.

COD has been garbage since 2018. That’s just how it’s always been, I saw this downfall happening for years. Treyarch as soon as they let go of their good devs for zombies. the lack of Jimmy Zalenski and Jason Blundell has been the inevitable downfall of zombies. For YEARS it’s been declining.

Just watching Liberty Balls gameplay just makes me sad… This is not zombies… this is not the gamemode we grew up with and loved to death.

Treyarch told us we were getting “OG round based” when in reality we’re getting liberty balls warzone zombies with garbage mechanics like armor plates, score streaks, loot, weapon rarities, mini maps with objective markers, and loadouts. It’s going to be another year of bo3 customs.

I think the Activision problem that people don’t realize is that zombies is not really suited for CoD season format. The game basically dies as soon as it’s season finishes and new cod comes out. But not zombies. You can still play BO1 zombies and have fun, because although it’s a multiplayer mode mostly it’s played in solo. Sure, you can play through campaign from time to time, but old zombies just become competitors of the newer cod zombies. BO3 is the perfect example.

The last actual fun cod was bo4. After that, welcome to million dollar tournaments every game for absolutely no reward what's so ever. Oh, you wanted terrible spawns, unfinished 70 dollar games, horrible map flow, terrible skins, battle passes, shitty progression, seasonal prestiges, terrible killstreaks, literally no challenges on launch for emblems and titles for MONTHS on multiple cods let alone no challenges to even go for, a fundamental feature for cod, no leaderboards, holy shit the list goes on and on. Call of Duty has turned into a live service, 70 dollar piece of garbage. It's truly remarkable how the game that everyone wanted to copy IS the game that copies the scummiest aspects of gaming now. I truly miss the good old days of BO2 and MW3. A finished call of duty WITH challenges, emblems, titles, prestiges, to grind for. Simple shit literally, but no. It's all about the money now.

Definitely think that game pass is a significant factor in a lack of pre-orders. People will say "CoD's dead thats why" but it still outsells itself and other games most years. It makes a lot more sense to use game pass to play because it offers the game on 2 platforms for the price of 1 which isn't possible otherwise and a lot of PC players likely have a cheaper deal for gamepass if they're a new member.

The gamepass argument is weird as the main statistics the preorders were taken from were on PlayStation. PlayStation doesn't have gamepass and it is has the largest playerbase in Call of Duty. Sparking Zero is still winning despite this. (Also sidenote, there's a good chance xbox preorders through the gamepass count towards the overall preorder statistics anyway.)

The only reason is that Sparkling Zero is the childhood revive of so many dragon ball fans. Also I'm just gonna die on the hill that Liberty Falls is the best looking Zombies map of all time.

Also get this, I think one of the reasons why Sparking Zero is gonna sell good because you create your own custom arcs basically, its gonna be a very good game thats gonna last decades or a decade at least.

Yea this game shouldn't be bought players shouldn't settle for mediocrity. If you guys want classic zombies dont buy a game that doesn't have classic mechanics. Cod players will buy the same thing over and over again with crappy monetization so bad youd think it was a live service f2p game. Pretending like this is only a issue for 1 map isn't going to fix the issues of the game. The game is way to ez liberty falls highlights that very well but it will probably be a issue on the other maps to.

The game its self seems a bit lackluster to me tbh, maybe because with the newer movement from 2019 onward with MP, etc. it makes it feel a bit easier and kind of babies players a lot more. I just want a completely different engine for the game compared to others. Obviously it'll probably never revert back to it again cause people would just bitch and complain about it like everyone does with everything. But, I was genuinely excited after hearing "4 years of development" and being told that we're receiving OG round based zombies just for it to look like this. There is a good chance like lex said that it could just be that *bonus* map for people to farm camos, etc etc. Which I hope it is, hearing that Terminus will be harder gives me a bit more promise, but we'll have to see. As for the DBZ comment though, that game let alone fan base has a way bigger fanbase that CoD and that's that. Plus if it's an highly anticipated game then it will do numbers guaranteed.

It doesn’t surprise me that pre-orders are down. Activision has given us rehashed content for the last decade and expect sales to increase. Rehashed content gets old and new content nobody asked for even gets older. At what point are they gonna start listening to the community? I’m not buying another game until I see that it’s actually good

Extremly sad. Treyarch doesn't deserve this. They're the ONLY cod developer who haven't majorly screwed up a single one of their full game releases so far. Cold war is an underrated gem, black ops 4 is decent, black ops 3 is fantastic, black ops 2 is fantastic, black ops is a masterpiece and world at war is a masterpiece. Zombies especially has been good every single time in my opinion. The multiplayer has mostly been great every time as well. The campaign has been amazing every single time except for black ops 3. Black ops 4 didn't have one, but i honestly don't think it hurt that specific game. My point is that there's no way any of us shouldn't AT LEAST give treyarch the benefit of the doubt. I honestly think they even deserve our trust until they majorly screw up. This isn't the first game to have at least one shitty map. Black ops 2 is a perfect example when it comes to shitty maps with tranzit and die rise. Even with two zombie maps sucking in that game, it's still regarded as one of the best in the entire franchise. So please calm the hell down and give bo6 a decent chance instead of crapping all over it before any of us have tried the release version of the game.

Sorry I’m not paying $70 for a game that I know I won’t even like. Maybe there’s a small chance I’ll get gamepass to play it but I’ll be buying gamepass pretty much for forza and halo. I’ll stick to the old games I guess and wait for a client for bo3.
