I don’t understand why the new games just hand everything to you and don’t expect you to have to know anything about the mode at all. Like when people who don’t play the mode are making it to round 50 on their first game, no one sees a problem with that?
because of the money. That’s it. If ATVI/ Microsoft think that money lies in older zombies type gameplay, we would have it. They know that, unfortunately, zombies mode has become a vessel for Warzone, and thus we have this weird zombies-warzone fusion. Zombies was different from mp/sp, and you had to invest some time to understand and enjoy it. Now, they want everybody to be able to enjoy everything day 1, so that it doesn’t feel strange to someone who doesn’t usually play the given mode. If it all feels fused together, there’s bigger chance you’ll actually play it/ spend your money on frivolous content. All roads go to Warzone, their golden goose.
Been playing since 2008 and i have hated the fact that there was zero direction. Since i found out there was EE. Like i just want to see the story i don't want to have to hunt for it. I mean i have always loved Zombies. But i also always hated that i couldn't see the story with out looking up a walkthrough. Or just watching the cut sceens on RU-vid.
@@barbarapick1722 I get what you’re saying but lowkey.. it’s a wave based survival game. Almost all games of that type don’t hold your hand plus EEs are supposed to be hidden/special hence the name. Supposed to be like ‘oh shit look at this! I didn’t realise this was a thing’. I think the new guided mode is all good and well but kinda kills a bit of what made them special. I hope they’d have it so the guided mode is released for all when that map’s EE has been discovered, that way it skips the RU-vid/forum searching but preserves the novelty of it.

At the end of the day, no matter which faction you fall under - we all love some aspect of CoD Zombies. There's no logical reason why we shouldn't just respect the fact we all have different opinions, as is the nature of human beings. We should be rightfully criticising the games, but lets keep it balanced and weigh in BOTH sides of the argument, instead of completely ignoring Positives/Negatives just to agree with *your own* opinion because you have a favourite Zombies game.
Didn't include the wise and handsome "Nuanced Bros" group who take multiple view points into consideration and are always objectively right because they are so smart and awesome

No way anyone can convince me i should spend £70 ($92) on a game that is forced online in a game that so far seems to have the easy monotonous gameplay of BOCW. If it wasnt forced online I'd probably buy it when the dlc season is over if the maps are good and the price is lower.
I recently found a 9 year old comment in a video regarding shadows of evil which feels like it was made a week ago. I’m gonna leave a copy and paste as I feel like people should read it. To realize how the attitude in the zombies community was like a decade ago. “It looks cool and fun. Just the alien things were really hard for me to take in. I like how they are actually doing new things other then just making a new map. You can tell this map has A LOT of innovation in it. The alien things aren't necessarily bad though. Its something new to zombies. Looks pretty fun honestly. People just don't like change. And then when something doesn't change they bitch. You can't win with this community. Well I know what i'm playing first when Black Ops Ill comes out :D”.

Your passionate about this but theres not much to do but wait. want a classic mode? You can do your best and make youself heard and play the mode saying that what you want. All am gonna say in general, this hate slop that can be seen in all kinds of drama just make me feel misreable. I been opening up and having a bit more sympathy for the people who want it back like bo3 or bo4 cause more than anything I feel bad for someone who cant have fun by moving on to other games or that things have move outside to what made zombies interesting to you. As a zombies fan this is so true. Last week I played MWZ, a couple days ago I did the dead of the nigh easter egg, and last night I played five and origins. I just love zombies man.
I think it’s funny that in previous entries, zombies had fantastical elements and multiplayer was more grounded, but now it’s the opposite. Zombies is sticking to sci-fi rather than fantasy based wonder weapons, yet MP blueprints have weapons with eyes akin to the apothicon servant. What happened with that? 😂

You forgot about the zombie boomers. -Were like 10 years old when Black Ops 1/MW2 came out, were incapable of any critical thinking back then -Parents never bought them DLC so played almost exclusively on disk map, Nacht, Kino, Tranzit. -Think Black Ops 3 ruined zombies because it got "too complicated" and "goofy" -Also don't like modern zombies because it's just warzone PvE -Think zombies should be about horror -Probably stopped playing call of duty in general after ghosts
I see borh old and news zombie as fun, with every game doing something good in one way or another. I feel the only way to please both sides is do what BO4 half assed and have a difficultly selection. I feel a lot of people forgot thats a thing, but its so fucking cool. I wish the custom game was funnier too, but also was half assed that
I think that’s what they’re aiming for with difficulty settings by doing the directed mode and the rumored classic mode if it’s real. It’ll solve both sides issues, but who knows if it’ll work out the way people think it will.
The only hope is a classic mode to revealed/announced (which i pretty sure it is coming) it will end the controversies between the two sides of the community

I'm in the first group. Zombies is no longer about surviving to the next round. It's about completing the map like you complete a miniature campaign. A zombie map that doesn't feel like it was made around it's Easter Egg quest and story (Origins) makes the experience feel very watered down. Because I'm not trying to survive until round 50. I'm trying to beat the egg on round 27 and quit. Blundel had his vision were he would take you on a journey to every part of the map all the time to do something that inevitably made you stronger. That is not here in Cold War. It is, as someone else put it, passive progression. No, I don't consider fans of the Call of Duty experience to be actual fans of the mode. Anymore than I consider myself an actual fan of something like Multiplayer or Warzone. My favorite Multiplayer experience was Infinite Warfare, but I understand that the actual fan base disliked it for good reasons. Multiplayer has its own issue going on now. Where Activision is literally making the game worse to play for the benefit of the casual consumer. Hardcore fans are up in arms about this every year. If that is what Zombies is going to be for now on, then I can only say that I WAS a fan. But like those MP people, I was left behind
I am a BO4 purist. The weirdest type of hard-liner. It's BO3, but with none of the downsides and so so so so so many new upsides that we hadn't even considered before. QoL unthought of before but impossible to live without now, the densest and most rewarding EEs to go back and play over and over again, a map design for every type of player, two separate stories that all represent the best writing Craig Houston et al have ever put on paper while not cannibalizing one another, four difficulties for every style and skill level of player, two bonus modes for every map, extremely dense custom mutations that should have been even bigger and rotated in the dailies like contracts, the best weapon variety in the series, the best voice acting, the best camo grind, the best out of match progression system, the best take on "gobblegums" by a long shot, the best perk system, I truly could go on and on and on. I have a 5k+ word essay in the chamber for every small point of contention or point of praise people have about BO4 zombies. It's not just my favorite zombies game, but my favorite game of all time. I guess you could put me in the third category. My favorite 5 games are, in order BO4, BO2, WW2, BO3, and MWZ. A weird bunch, to be sure. Cold War is my honorable mention, I just feel like the maps don't live up to the gameplay, whereas MWZ does make good on that. Anyways, not the point. I have such a mishmash of opinions on this franchise but when one game, BO4, delivered 6 perfect maps, one almost perfect map, and Classified (lol) and I'm asked by most people to just ignore all the good that came out of the game in favor of the two games it's sandwiched between has jaded me, to put it lightly. Every time I say those first 5 words, "I am a BO4 purist," I have someone in my replies without fail either mocking me or begging me to change my opinion for the sake of everyone else's eyeballs. It sucks.
Well when you have recycled hud and mechanics from warzone and the last few years of zombies being shit aswell… you kinda learn to see the writing on the wall. Im happy to be proven otherwise but i know that will never be the case.
You don’t have to taste shit to know it's shit. We already saw enough gameplay material. We already know exactly how the mode is gonna be. All the details are already out. Do you live under a rock? People said the same thing about CW zombies, Vanguard zombies and MWIII zombies before they launched and the same story every time.

While I'm not happy with the way bo6 looks in terms of alot of things.. I'm still happy that we got "round based zombies" Even if it's not the way I like it. I will probably still somewhat enjoy it and grind it and I say this as a COD W@W players. As much as I love bo3.. I just know things will never be the same so I'll just take it how it is and be happy nonetheless lol.
"Round based" zombies shouldn't even be a term. This is exactly the problem. There shouldn't even be a distinction. Outbreak, Vanguard and MW3 should have never existed. You know it's bad when they're literally advertising that they're going back to the gameplay loop that they never should have abandoned in the first place as a selling point, it's the bare minimum.
my take on all of this is that the game mode OG zombies fans grew up on is a shell of itself. Imagine your favorite tv show where they kill off your favorite characters, change the story and still call it the same title. some people like the new changes and you're left feeling betrayed. you voice your complaints and the new fans tell you to get over it when they were never fans to begin with until the changes. myself and others grew loving the original characters, the lore, their funny voice lines, the easter eggs were always perfect. can you imagine if the creators of DND just decided to change everything but still call it DND and expect their fans who have spent years loving the way DND is played and the new fan group just tells them to get over it. you'd be pissed too. If you want a casual zombies game to just to play for fun there is literally left for dead. I can promise you right now this game will flop for original fans. theres a reason there has never been this much frustration amongst zombies fans.
It’s basically a different game at this point. The difficulty, and complex ees were what made zombies up to Cold War. That’s why it’s unfair for one fanbase to bash the other new zombies is objectively targeting a completely different player base and yeah modern zombies is way easier to get into for a new player. That said until they come out with a “classic” mode for old school sweats like me nothing they do will satisfy everyone. Nothing plays like pre Cold War zombies nothing. That’s why a lot of us kept buying up to bo4 there was no alternative and I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t suck to have a lot of that identity taken out. I’d skip out of bo6 if it wasn’t for friends I want to play with since I didn’t jive the same with Cold War as classic zombies.
I find that last group to sound the most pretentious, I’d rather have a Warzone player tell me that they like new Zombies for camo grinding and only want warzone features than be told that “Its fun regardless so it doesn’t matter that much, just play the old maps.” I don’t think zombies is doomed at all, but im tired of people who are like “you’re still gunna play it regardless” Like no I can still give feedback on changes I like or don’t like. I care more about the franchise than “it fun so it good”
I think you’re missing what he was saying. He was describing that people in that group, the more all around casual zombies fan, say it’s fun for them personally so they don’t care as much about a lot of the details. Not that they think others should feel the same.
I feel like a lot of the NEW fans that only played CW only THINK they like the new way better. They played CW and liked it and they think it's primo Zombies. However, you don't miss what you don't know. They might think that playing a map 10 times and seeing literally EVERYTHING it has to offer is "good". Being satisfied with playing a map a few times and experiencing ALL of it is probably preferable for the "casuals", they are called casual for a reason. If you expect to have dozens and dozens of hours out of each map just for the standard content, having to actually LEARN the game/map and the potential of hidden features and actually GET your moneys worth, then you probably prefer a COMPLETE experience.

Im definitely in the general zombies fan group. I’ve played zombies since WaW and played so many hours of both WaW and BO3 customs that I’ve been burnt out on customs entirely. BO3 is my favorite game overall, but I really loved CW for how different but extremely fun the game was. It definitely has its weak points like no crew and similar feeling maps, but the game is a blast and I’m looking forward to BO6.
^^^ I burned myself with cold war even though I loved it, it was the fact all my friends left as they didnt like the mode or future games that I played by myself over and over again I just got tired hoping to get back into it with a new friend group.

I feel like everyone is right in this argument For me the "best" solution would be different modes for zombies like : casual, classic, etc (maybe being able to tweak some aspects of the mode to your likings etc) But that would require work I started playing zombies with BO1, for me it's the best one, but i loved a lot of new things from BO3 and CW Either making different game modes or be able to custom stuff would be the best thing The only thing i really miss from BO1 is how everything was very mysterious back in the days and the designs of the maps were god tier (in my opinion) I'm looking forward to what BO6 will do and tbh nothing rn got me pissed or whatever, i'm actually hyped for what they're gonna release
Man, I'm mostly a generalist but also an old old fan. I didn't like bo2-bo3 as much because there was so much going on and so much that had to be done, and this is with me knowing the steps. I don't like modern zombies as much because it feel like multiplayer but zombies. The same way nightmares felt on bo3. It's clinical and mostly devoid of personality and mystery. I love multiplayer, but the competitive aspect is what makes that style work. Even bo3 mp was much more muted than the zombies. For me the peak is still waw and bo1. Simple maps, jump in and start shooting. Get your perks and grind it out. But with so much personality. Small easter eggs, writing on the wall, crazy contraptions.
I’m certainly in that last group. I just like playing zombies man. Never been super into Easter eggs but still enjoy a complex map like Zetsubou or DotN. I liked being challenged back in the day but I don’t need it to enjoy the mode. I think the newer games have problems but I don’t want to go back. My take is I wish BO6 was even more different and changed even more features. I want each game to be completely different because the games are infinitely replayable, why would I want more of something I already have?
Idk people who want more bo3 seems to already want what they have, but as much as I enjoy cold war system this is fair, call of duty zombies is enjoyable because of how different each games are, like I love ww2 zombies cause of this, I love IW cause of that etc, etc. I think its fair to want a new system or at least add on to the system like bo4.

note double tap is in black ops 6 and cold war it's called weapon rarity and each rarity is damage boost like how does one not put 1 and 1 together? cause that is legit the same way double tap works
The reason bo3 players are so enthusiastic lets say, is because we hate watching zombies go down the EXACT same path as fnaf, it's a cool game that a niche group extremely enjoys, then some autistic kids get a hold of it, and then we get merch that appeals exclusively to extremely young children, instead of the late teen audience the game was made for, (vanguard, mw3, cold war), and now bo6 is getting the same dumbed down treatment to appease the 4 year olds playing the game instead of appealing to the fans that have been playing zombies since the day it came out, first, and the 4 year olds who have little to no game play in anything before cold war, second. Our problem is they're being catered to, yet don't the experience to give feed back to make these massive changes, and yet they're being made anyway, driving out the old player base, the ones who truly care for the zombies mode, and not this washed together warzone garbage with score streaks and loadouts.
Fandom tribalism usually happens when a company tries to cater to a specific group of fans and abandoning the rest. The effects of this can be far greater if the company has been doing a poor job catering to anyone, this is what the zombies community is facing right now. Call of duty for the past 4 years has been catering to newer players in such a poor manner that I believe isolated the older players.
A huge portion of us zombies fans would be satisfied with bo6 If they just gave us Zombies chronicles 2. That’s probably the only way I’d end up buying it because I’ve already accepted current zombies will never be good again
The BO3 people maybe the most passionate but they also seem to be worst in terms of insulting people who like the new stuff. I was one of the people who was around during BO1 and early to mid BO2 and I was “unsure” about giant robots and aliens being in zombies luckily I was wrong and it was ok. I love most modern zombies experiences (not Vanguard) but I’m not so blinded by nostalgia that I won’t try the new stuff. I like CW and really enjoy MWZ, they both have flaws, BO3 has flaws (even though most BO3 bootlickers don’t want to see it)
Were also the most factually correct even tho I'd say bo1 and 2 were better zombies mechanically but these new zombies are mix of cold war and vanguard and both were pretty bad

To be perfectly honest, i really, REALLY dont give a shit if its different or not. As long as its fun im ok, cw wasnt super replayable but it was at least enjoyable enough, mw3 was....kinda fun when it was first released (you know until they decided to add no content) as long as its well made and not just kinda forgotten about, im personally ok
I definitely fall under general zombies lover. Have all the black ops zombies maps and love them all so much. I just love round based. Switch between games when bored. Got props all around my room

I really enjoy watching your vids and get hooked on what you have to say, I haven't really had a youtuber that I've been wating to upload since ssundee was on skyfactory, I really like your content and would like to see you branch out more if you're thinking of it
The great thing about zombies is that most of these games are timeless. They all have their little quirks that make them unique and people still always will love to go back and play them. I think it's totally fine for us to disagree about which game is best or if we only play old, new, etc. or make a couple sly jokes at each other. But we still all have a common love for zombies, we don't need to attack each other over it.
100% a general zombies fan, I like zombies from bo1-cold war and im really excited for black ops 6. The modernized zombies isnt perfect but there are a lot of good things about it and for me its really enjoyable. Im a dying light fan, project zomboid fan, l4d2 fan, days gone fan, 7D2D fan, B4B fan, TWD fan, zombies anything can make me happy
I’m a bo3 lover but I still enjoy Cold War and bo4 but I have a emotional connection to old zombies it’s what I grew up with and to me it’s sad to see it go down this path
As someone in group 3 (except I only touch Treyarch stuff with the exception of vanguard): My theory is that Treyarch just really messed up the marketing of BO6 Zombies. leading to a lot of people over reacting about how awful liberty balls is. I dont mind the map itself and am confident that there's a lot we havent seen of the map. Criticism is fine but we have to remember that the game is still in active development. So to write it off completely just based off of CodNext footage, where EEs were probably turned off and maybe even some sections of the map being barred, is bonkers to me. I dont really care either way but I think the people being overly critical can be validated ONLY If what we've seen of the map is still all we get come launch. (Regardless, Terminus looks awesome)
I want to say i'm part of the 3rd/4th group. I've been here since bo1 and want to voice my opinion. I never understood the hate that went into zombies. During this time i was jusy a kid who played cod both multiplayer and zombies and hearing about zombies hate in the background was pretty bothersome. I never understood why transit was so hated or die rise and i when ghosts came out i never understood the hate for that either. I played it a few months ago and thought extinction was so fun and new. It was ghosts take on another gamemode and i loved it. After ghosts i felt like the hate radiating from ww2 and bo4 was so stupid. It felt like the people from group 1 were knocking every other game down and saying bo3 was the best game and every other game should be like it. I loved ww2 and its completely different atmosphere and i loved bo4s dead of the night and ancient evil. I never understood why people would make fun of dead of the night for being bad where from my pov it added vampires and wearewolves which was a really out there idea just like gorod krovi's dragons. It seemed so odd because they were both concepts that were added to have a theme but somehow because bo4 was bo4 it got hated on regardless of its ideas. I just want to love zombies for zombies without the massive typhoon of hate. I want the new stuff because i've already experienced the last decade of zombies.
What if.. they made custom mutations like BO4, but it has toggle and adjustment knobs for everything everyone has ever asked for (classic point system, 3 armor or buy locations turn to 3 shield locations, no loadout = Mustang and Sally PaP, no rarity system aka unbalanced guns) Yeah, it could be janky, but it they have mod support then the community can fix that.
I feel like with the 4 years they had they could’ve made the newgen cw and bo3 inspired different modes. Like fr I don’t think anyone is gonna disagree that we probably could’ve had our cake and eaten it too especially considering how similar bo6 and cw seem to be… and how low effort the map is.
@@Hast1e3 1. You haven’t fully seen liberty falls yet 2. They most likely spent a ton of time developing the post launch DLC maps , and that’s where a ton of the dev time went into. This makes sense because they said they are already releasing another one before the end of the year. And liberty falls most likely was a semi-last second casual map they through together while they put more focus on the other ones.

I fr said bo6 zombies seems very similar to Cold War and that given the time we probably could have got two modes, a more traditional and a new gen one. I didn’t call the game crap.. I called the one specific map low effort which even you seem to be partial to. I’m just saying it should’ve been pretty obvious there would be a divide so why not both. PS: I don’t need to see the full release liberty falls to confidently say that what it currently is after 4 years, essentially the teaser map for the mode and a hectic cut scene is low effort as a map.. doesn’t mean it’s bad, just low effort.
I'm a general zombies fan. I've been here since 2012 with bo2 zombies on the wiiu and I see a case for both the bo3ers and new geners. Older games were simple and fun but started to get stupid complicated like zeb no Shima or shadows in general. But the newer games have taken away the zombies feeling in the mode with the primary examples being the hud and tone. The hud to me is the big item they could fix that would make it feel more zombies like simple and dedicated. Image a bo2 type hud with the gobblegum on the side along with streaks and in the center of the dpad section being the field upgrade. The tone is one that will be improved as we do have a set crew with the option for silly operators.
In my personal opinion, the one REALLY good thing that modern zombies has a solution to is unlimited perk slots. I also think the intel system is neat as well.
I started playing zombies during bo2, i then did not play zombies for 8 years until cold war came out, I then played bocw and loved zombies on cold war enough to start playing bo3 and 4, I like both, but after playing bo3 and 4, it was alot to go through, making origins ee the only more complex ee I have beat so far, but I have a good time with both, because the old ones let me "tryhard with ee" while the new ones your ee are easy but at least I can play the new zombies with friends that dont have the time or dedication to zombes as everyone else, sure it should have its own identity and the old days are good.
Also I do hate the armor plating system, system, I hated it in mwz and I will probably hate it in bo6, I do like the way you have to change your strategy because super sprinters are faster than the speed you run while plating your armor
I think that people who dislike new zombies, saying it doesn’t look/ feel like zombies, and then get counter argument of Shadows of evil not being an OG zombies map for the period it released, do not know how to properly express themselves (at least some of them). The common denominator of all new zombies modes is Warzone; it’s not about map being set at daylight (Kino der Toten for example), but it’s about all the small things that eventually turned zombies into Warzone. Cut that aspect out of zombies map and you’ll have a pretty decent zombies experience, whatever time of day it’s set or whichever crew you have.

Ive been seeing this a lot more frequently in othrr game communities too. Destiny 2 had major divisions within the community and monster hunter has a problem of silencing criticism because the game is fun. I think its just more of normal thing happening now
@@MMAHAPPYHOUR the medium is making zombies more accessible, the hardcores do not make up the majority of zombies and any fan base or audience for that matter, casual audiences is where the money is and as much as you guys don’t like to admit it, this is a business, MONEY COMES FIRST, if you think they’re doing something for the fans, THEY’RE NOT, money and how much money they’ll make is the first priority, if all the hardcore fans were to leave the game and game mode, it would make dent in the player base but not one big enough to shake and quiver, they’ll just keep doing what keeps those casuals coming back
@@smoovenorris as much as I hate to say it dude your right cater for the casual will make an absolute bank this title and maybe the next but when you cater to casual your catering to people who will play one game and get off or play once and never play again. In the long term this will surely ruin the games longevity. Look at how bo1-bo3 catered to hardcore players and as we can see has stood this test off time. It’s a shame cod have gone down this route to cater for casual it actually use to be a good and rewarding game
I just miss the older COD zombies games. I am not a fan of the newer COD Zombies games and I enjoy all modes but COD zombies the most. I’m okay with the newer COD Zombies games if they’re good and round based.
I originally got into Call of Duty because of this crazy mode everyone was talking about called Nazi Zombies way back when. I loved WaW and Black Ops I zombies. The funny thing I keep seeing everywhere is how everyone agrees BO3 is somehow "classic." BO2 Zombies was a misstep in my opinion and I didn't even get into BO3. Zombies turned into something I didn't like and it completely turned me off from the franchise for an entire console generation. I got back into CoD like many others due to the pandemic and while still not my favorite, I enjoyed how approachable Cold War Zombies was. There was less BS and I didn't need to search the drab brown and grey map to find grey and brown objects required to even survive and decent amount of time.
Bo3 aside, we gotta admit bo6 zombies is definitely a L that can easily be fixed 😅 we need a custom hud, remove the warzone health ui, remove gun rarity and just give us double tap back
They added armour in Cold War and now are looking for ways to make the game easier 😂 why not just remove armour 😅 everyone would of been fine with that
Well I liked the Beta, I've liked the past 3 (edit TREYARCH cods) regardless of there flaws, I've liked WW2s launch map and IW`s Dlc season. B06 regardless of not being good as the old days will still be a good time so its pre-ordered and I'm ready for Oct 25
I think the zombies community ruined the zombies community. Like look at the creator drama and think about our poor reactions to what turned out to be some pretty solid experiences over the years. I mean recent stuff might deserve the hate but I think us hating the stuff that didn’t deserve it screwed us over.
Im gonna go on record as saying maybe we haven't seen everything Liberty FELL has to offer by that gameplay as it was unfinished and not polished so wait and see maybes
Alienating the core audience from a media they enjoy rarely ever goes smoothly. It can happen (GoW, BOTW, RE4), but with those gamers you can see the connection and reverence they had to their predecessors. GoW still had hack and slash combat, BOTW started out with the idea of LoZ 1 but in 3D, and RE4 retained the feeling of horror and survival, just with grander stories and set pieces.
I'm not happy with the current direction of zombies but I don't mind because I feel like I have enough maps and versions of zombies to play already to keep me coming back for years. I'm finally enjoying BO4 zombies after 6 years of shit talking the mode and I intend to dive back into WWII zombies once I'm bored of BO4 since I always enjoyed that mode but never played the later maps as much, and I think I'll always be coming back to BO2 and BO3
I can only hope for two things. They make multiple modes that are each WELL MADE, so the factions can play how they want, and they add mod support so people can REALLY play how they want. At this point both the community and some greedy corporate decisions have created this colossal rift that now exists in the community, and both are responsible for fixing it.
Okay but the thing is, which faction loses out if Treyarch decides to do more for the art direction, who loses out if they make the point system dynamic again? Thats the thing is Cold War / Warzone fans are happy and Zombies fans aren’t and people act like “well we can’t make everyone happy” when they actually could make everyone happy
I started with WaW and CW is my favorite one since BO1. BO3 I love for customs but I don't like the official maps. Hopefully they add mod support on this one (lol) so people can just make what they want with a newer engine.
My first zombies experience was w@w , i had to go to my friends house after school to play until i BEGGED my mom for a console to play. I stayed with the series since, i think black ops 3 was probably the peak of fun for me but i kept playing Black ops 4 was rough but a lot of fun with chaos Cold war unironically is the game with the second most play time from me, all the main ees done, all outbreaks ees done, got dark matter for zombies and going for rounds just because Im excited for black ops 6 but it is the last hope for me as a fan. Liberty falls looks like an oof so far i hope on launch the EE fixes that but really excited for terminus
I've never cared that they reused assists, or copied ideas from other branches of the game. I only play zombies so it doesnt effect my view haha. I play to just relax and tune out. It's mindless and just fun. I do enjoy the panic of it but I enjoy carrying friends and challenging them in little challenges we come up with playing. I love zombies, old and new. Vanguard sucked but I'd still "high round" it into the hundreds and enjoyed the new spin if things. Mwz though was rough to enjoy, too large and not as fast paced. But all around the different takes are what brings me back. To see what is next. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
Im a passionate diehard of the PRE Cold war zombies games, I fall under the 1st group. It's not about us wanting the game to go back, we just want Treyarch to stop being so god damn lazy and releasing an objectivley shit product (compared to old COD's) because they can make money anyways, COD took everything good out of Zombies and replaced it with lazy not thought out systems. I and other passionate zombies fans, will not be stepped on by these scamming pigs that call themselves Activision. Stop falling for these traps
At the end of the day we have been playing zombies for years and to completely change the mode for ppl who don’t even care like that completey dumb down the mode take aways things that made it great and disregard us fans who have been playing for years and years is messed up
I don’t want another Jason Blundell or Jimmy Zielinski, I want someone new who can give us a challenge or at least an inbetween for newer players but can manage to give us exactly what we all want. I don’t think Kevin Drew is a bad developer, my friends who started playing zombies in Cold War cause it was more appealing to them and absolutely loved Cold War Zombies. I enjoyed Cold War Zombies to an extent but it’s not my ultimate favourite. Black Ops 3 will forever be my all time favourite Zombies game but I’m not gonna go after new players cause they enjoy the newer stuff cause I do enjoy it too here and there but it’s mindnumbingly easy to me but it’s also very chill and relaxing. I’m excited to play Black Ops 6 Zombies cause we’ve been starved for 4 years of round-based zombies, granted I’ve been a Game Pass subscriber since its inception but still lol. I don’t have a problem with what we call “Warzone bros” they can play zombies as much as they want and I’ll play it with them to help them out if they need it. If there’s a classic zombies mode, I’ll be playing that without a doubt but if my Warzone friends wanna play zombies, I already know that I’ll be playing zombies standard with them (assuming that leak is true). I’m excited to play Terminus and I’m excited to play BO6 Zombies as a whole. I just don't understand people anymore, there's no reason for us to be hostile towards each other, we should be able to explain the issue with a certain system without calling people names As a fan of the old games, there are things I defend that are only in BOCW or Vanguard, but as a whole the older games are better, just that some of the new features aren't actually bad
I used to be a B03 absolutest, but about 2 months ago I finally got cold war and ive been really loving it, I think a hybrid of that with some classic aspects from bo3 would be perfect. At the very least points by bullets and not kills. I dont find cold wars highrounds or easter eggs much harder or easier than bo3s.
I started playing Zombies again in 2021 and played fire base z for my first game, Cold War is my favorite zombies but black ops 3 is by far the best zombies experience. soe is my favorite map ever. the love they put into maps like shadows or DE is insane.
I'm part of the third category for sure but I find myself falling into that trap of "toxic positivity" as you call it just because the og zombies purists irritate me. Part of a larger issue for sure where I'm interested to hear others opinions but will get upset if I don't like them, even though I sought them out. Great video big papi
