The Juggernog augment that turns the armor into the old shield system is really really cool. You can’t see the shield nor can you use it as a melee weapon like the previous games but it’s still something.

I think some Gobblegums will be inside bundles, like if you buy a bundle it would have something similar to the vault upgrade where it gives 12 gobblegums of high rarity.

Augment research is a progression unlock separate from leveling up. You'll need to select what to research then level up that research to get the different augments.

Me personaly, I think it is a step in the right direction. Even tho I hoped for more changes. For me, the problem about Liberty Falls, is not how it looks, it is the playable area. The map has way to much space and is way to open. I guess that makes the map look not as good as it could be. The HUD changes are good aswell, still doesnt look "zombiefied" but I guess thats what we will get I still hope for the "classic mode" because I really think the only huge problem this game has is the gameplay. Ill give the game a fair shot tho and hope for the best.

I don’t think people realize how insane cod changing the map is the game is already good we can tell from the beta and the other zombies map is very promising but the fact they went back and changed the finite details that people didn’t like about liberty Falls. It can’t be measured how great that is. because that’s an indication that they care about the game and when developers care about the game to the smallest details. That’s how you get a bo2 mw3!!

they were obviously going for a town that's yet to be overrun so the mood reflected that being brighter with slight zombie tones and nothing over the top however i think its a shame they've had to backpaddle their original ideas and intentions just because the map isn't the visually exact same as all the others i really think people have to grow up and focus on the gameplay itself rather than the looks, if looks were all their was to the zombies formula then vanguard and ww2 would be considered the best games in the series no contest

It’s great to be given more hud customization. However, it makes me question is there even a zombies audience who wants any of the crazy hud options? From everyone I’ve talked to we all enjoy the classic clutter free look. I’d be interested to hear the other side.

The only new hud option I'm interested in is the mini map. Being a father of two, I don't wear headphones when I game, and I'm hard of hearing, so I'm always getting snuck up on from behind. Might come in handy

I find it funny that Treyarch had to emphasis that the Dimension breech in Liberty Falls is *Very* Recent. Because one of tge complaints people had with the map is that. I guess they think "oh zombies attacked this town, it needs to look like tranzit or much more destroyed" First of all that is just plain stupid. The map, the quick set up, and the the cutscene makes it VERY apparent that its been like a day after the breech happened. But people saw bright looking map and called it trash. Or making comparioson to like Kino or other old maps. Which have already been attacked and left in its state for weeks, months and even Decades. Especially tranzit, which the whole worlds been attacked for years! I swear the zonbies comminity can be really really quick to anger becauss of how stupid they can be.

I think the frustration is that the concept is a cop out. They didn’t need to give the map any atmosphere because that’s how they planned it. The plan should have included atmosphere from the start and not an excuse to why it’s not there.

@@idkjb777 I think so? Or the very least happen roughly around the same time. But with Term it's a whole research place that's essentially doing a Zetsubo no shima. In that they experimented on the environment which weve seen it make plants grow rapidly and weirdly. Term is a research base/prison that ran tests on everything around it. LF is a town that's being used as sort of a living space for researchers and security. With all the actual experiments happening underground. IF we do go underground (which come on, we have to at this point) I would be very disappointed If the underground section isnt a messed up place of Aether, blood and gore. MUCH MUCH more ravaged than the town above

i mean, yeah it was a recent incursion, but look inside the chruch, its literally the dark aether, like fully. skyboxes like that are what make a map imo... just think of origins, de, or revelations... maps wouldnt feel as great if it was a bright sunny day. Im g;ad theyre making it a tiny bit darker, tho i wish they did it even more.

@@LU6TIE I do like the look of the church. But I feel like most people just overlook the context with the maps. With Origins, it takes place in the middle of WW1 in an active battlefield that most likely is not aware of the zombie threat that's happening during the middle of it (plus like the giant robots stomping around) LF is a simple town that's ment to be housing for on-site personelle which has just recently had an incursion that has been going on for at least a day or two. As I said many of the complaints I've seen, try comparing it to older maps, like Tranzit. But Tranzit looks the way it does due to zombies everywhere for years, 4 Super nukes that essentially cracked the world into many peices that are barely keeping shape... and lava plus denizens. I'm not saying that LF should be clean with only a few blood spots and crashed cars but at the same time it shouldnt be almost post apocalyptic like how the older maps looked.

Sounds like augments are a way for them to meld some perks together like Quick Revive and Dying Wish, Deadshot and Double Tap, and Stamin Up and PHD… hopefully this means that we’ll get less redundant perks like Electric Cherry or Widow’s

This is how I imagine Gobblegums will be purchasable through the store. They'll be included in bundles and you can buy them separately, so lets say rare gums for 50 COD points, epic for 100, legendary for 150, and ultra for 200, and you get choose specifically which gums you want. This would obviously be game breaking, but lets be real here, Activision will see Gobblegums as a way of making extra money, so we'd just have to deal with it.

Oooh man idk, I hate having to choose between some of those augments. Especially the PHD Flopper minor ones. I loved the increased slide distance and speed from Cold War, but no environmental hazard damage is so huge.

The fact they list gobblegums you can unlock at certain levels, but don’t list all gobbles makes me think you have to buy a certain selection and that’s the only way you can earn them. God I hope I’m wrong

I actually like pretty much everything in this update BUT, im now concerned for my most hyped item, gobblegums. They said they would NOT be a micro-transaction and would soley be earnable through gameplay. Yet, we're back to store purchases, and it doesnt seem like peope are gonna be able to use certain gobbles until level 40+. I thought they'd be earned randomly, with obviois rarities given the different powerups

I'm pretty sure that is still the case, it's just that buying bundles sometimes comes with a gum or 2, kinda like how buying bundles in mw3 had a chance to give you aether crystals and wrenches

Quick question: I got the vault preorder from a friend and I'm little confused about the gobble gums. In the pre-order, it says you get the 12 pack of elite gobble gums, plus it also said in the blog that a lot of the elite gobble gums were not unlock able through progression. Are the pre-order gobble gums one time uses, like the acquisitions in MW3, or are they permanent unlocks, like the blueprints in MW3?

So the purple cloud is what happens during the easter egg so we were right that the setting and look of the map seems like its going to change the further into the easter egg you get. And those computers with the emblems on them deff looks like an easter egg step possibly simon says esk step again.

I agree, that liberty falls image looks alot better than what the map was. But I still can't believe that people were whining that badly about the map. Cause I still didn't think it was that big of a deal.The map still seemed like it would have still been pretty fun and then we still had the giant terminus island map
