Why stop there? Imagine someone went over the timelines from every CoD, now that the multiverse collapsed and its likely that even other games like AW are in the same timeline to some degree.
@@TeamJellayeah I mean when you stop to consider that Manticore is basically an advanced Nova 6 The Ghosts from Ghost are basically referenced in MW2/3 now given Task Force 141 all have their own ghost masks and in Vanguard we see the different Task forces and their callsigns The advancement of exo suits from AW, BO3 and IW Mephestopheles is practically an Elder God The Chaos story is referenced in Vanguard The EM1 from AW has a prototype in Vanguard And so much more, yeah I would venture to guess each game is connected both in campaign and zombies, albeit with a lot of retcons now.

I feel like it wouldn't have hurt to discuss the connection between Chaos and the current Dark Aether story, as I have a feeling we'll be seeing aspects of that story come back. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Project Janus ultimately had something to do with obtaining the Sentinel Artifact.
YES, I'm still kinda confused because I never was an expert on the old chaos story, and this rebooted storyline is a bit confusing like when was MW and vanguard connected to black ops zombies lol I'm lost
But really treyarch gave us nothing more than exactly what he said in the video. There is just a name reference on an intel, just one. And thats it, no more to dive in. In fact, everyone is hoping for an explanation within bo6 lore

bro covered vangaurd zombies. yeah with the...crystal head creatures and their baby who may actually be richtofen's kid but not really, that also forced chaos into the story, whcih, say what you will with them being "different versions of the characters" vangaurd is SO off on its own thing with its broken development you can barely consider it canon, as even then nothing shows how it connects to die machine and cold war, thankfully nothing too big of note happened...unless you count whatever actual story being unfinished cause the development was a rushed hot mistake, cause they had to drop whatever was planned on their original roadmap to put in shi no numa and remake another map into a roundbased map cause people wanted roundbased so much and they should have never given us these objective based maps and always online servers, we know vangaurd zombies was a literal last minute addition so its easy to see they want to ditch that story and those characters. thankfully.

Yes, Chaos could in theory have a continuation, though it'll probably just be small subtle things here and there. I mean the Dark Aether story in Vanguard was closer to the chaos story than the origional Aether story given all the gods and stuff.
I'm waiting for that to happen cause I was asking myself is how they got killed in the intro of Modern Warfare Zombies and I hope we get answers is to what really happen

One think that sucks is that we already know how this ends for raptor team since Mwz happens after black ops 6. So does this means Richthofen ultimately win or die for that matter ?
I think it got way too convoluted i hope bo6 will tell a good story regardless. I enjoyed Cold War's story and the forsaken but depsite having not played it i loved Vanguard's story and the explorations of the demonic entities of the dark aether. I wish we could know more about this what about the construct aswell. I did not even look at anything related to mw3 zombies.
With vanguard and mw3 I couldn’t care less about the story, and really with Cold War I was annoyed with Samantha flying around shooting monsters with lasers but even so I am excited for bo6
@@typervader it’s all about presentation and dialogue, you can’t tell me that any cutscene from BO3 is even close to the cringe in the forsaken cutscenes with Samantha. But with the 2 BO6 intros we got it looks like they got their mojo back

@goargespatton410 Soap is in zombies because Laswell was handpicked by someone higher up in the US Government. A lot of theories suggest it was Richtofen because his name is redacted in a similar way than it was in Cold War, but that hasn't been proved yet. Laswell obviously is familiar with Soap and his skills, so she had him join the mission. Fun bonus fact, Laswell has given soap execute authority on Ravenov in case he does anything they deem harmful to the mission, but it seems Ravenov and Soap have formed a bit of a friendship

Im just wonder.... Did Black Ops campaign and Modern Warfare campaign was all canon with in Dark Aether universe now? ---- If yes, how was possible why that we never seen any zombies in all campaign?? (only Bell into the dark tunnel in BO : Cold War)
I dont like the story of zombies now, it all just feel so random now after Black ops 4. Black ops zombies was a littile confusing but it kinda made sense in the end, now its just a whole bunch of outbreaks and eddie doing this samantha doing that, these new characters that go missing but come back.
why did samantha try to kill eddie or his son and wtf happened to her in the dark aether when she stops the forsaken? i thought she was gonna come back in this one. Seems dumb to villainize our 2 remaining main characters from the aether story who saved the universe.
I don’t understand the 4th random black ops 6 character. We know Dr. Grey, Carver, weaver. Why couldn’t the 4th character be like Eddie Richtofen or Samantha Maxis?
Maxis is in the Dark Aether still, the game will likely be about trying (and failing like Ravenov said in MWZ) to save Samantha. Director Rictoffen will definitely have his own nefarious plans outside of Requiem.

Older than the dark aether itself by the 90’s so it makes sense why he isn’t there, and from the looks of cold war it’s been shown Peck would rather stay in a safe area rather than to be in a zombie infested area (even if the safe area is WITHIN a zombie infested area), Maxis is in the Dark Aether and Eddie is doing his own thing in the US so who else could it have been.
Imagine if they just went with a game all the studios working together and make it the best game ever and having 2 campaigns and 2 different zombies and 1 multiplayer with all the characters and weapons from both campaigns and zombies
Than just kept it that way for good after that with all the studios working on the same game all the time and having different ones for the certain game modes only
That’s the dream honestly. Let Treyarch work on campaign and zombies, they consistently do the best with that. Let IW do multiplayer and spec ops. Sledgehammer can support both teams, provide patches and updates because let’s be real. No one wants them to do anything else
I'm so confused I haven't caught up with the story after bo4 so can some explain to me why SOAP is in zombies like I've been searching everywhere and everything just pops up like "how soap is still alive" and can't get an actual answer someone please help me
Fr bro I did all the Easter eggs and I watched a few videos but I just can’t pay attention to this lame ass story I just keep getting lost and rewinding, all the characters seem so boring..
I think the biggest issue with this dark ether storyline, is that it takes itself, too seriously, is too convoluted, and not fun or charming. I absolutely lost interest in the storyline of zombies during Cold War.
Trust me it does there's a huge gap between cold war and MW3 zombies if you didn't see the intro for MWZ I recommend going back and watch it again and ask yourself why weaver Grey and Carver were killed
