Jesus Christ all this community knows is how to bitch about every little detail about a game that was rushed a year early due to Activision greed and made over zoom calls cause of the virus. We all knew this would happen but the fan base acts like treyarch committed a mortal sin against them. Again, we knew this was gonna be like this, quit acting fucking shocked this game doesn’t look like infinity wards baby modern warfare that’s had a smooth dev cycle. If you really think this game was this trash then don’t fucking buy it god u guys are so entitled. We had a beta for this very reason, you can get a refund on pre orders so don’t play victim and act like activision ropes you in with the beta to make you preorder Exactly one year ago the hate modern warfare was getting was unreal, people kept saying they were gonna stay with bo4 for another year. People were saying it was the worst multiplayer in years, now you guys act like it was always a masterpiece. Almost the exact same complaints about Cold War Is getting now, “so many campers”, “maps are bad”, “so little content”, “weapon balance is shit” wah wah wah wah. guaranfuckingtee on December 22 2021 everyone on Reddit and RU-vid will be talking about how cod 2021 is garbage and Cold War was one of the best cods ever. Some People are even saying Infinite warfare and ghosts was actually super underrated and one of the best multiplayers. Memory capacity of a goldfish. Every fucking year
@@Vsprivate Who said I was defending Treyarch? And they aren't completely dogshit you know? They made World At War, Black Ops 1 and 2 and they introduced zombies. Think about your words before you speak
@@17_madedanuarthasuryawan28 yep and the guy above said cold war is an unfinished clone, feel bad for my boi treyarch, imagine they have to keep up with mw2019 within a year and have to work during the quarantine, mp aside, cold war's campaign is way better than mw2019's one
A little sidenote, CW was actually in development far longer than MW2019, it was just being handled by Sledgehammer until they were dropped for Treyarch. Treyarch just fucked it over by scrapping a huge load of shit for last minute changes and ultimately made a shit game with shit graphics, with the only redeeming qualities being less campers (though still prevalent), zombies, and a pretty good, but short, campaign. There's also no excuse for them releasing it un-fucking-polished, they could've waited a few more years too, considering Warzone was massive, and still is.
The following is my *own* opinion I think the work, effort and time that was put into MW, is way more higher than that in cold War. (sorry for my bad English) Great video Navvix 👍
@@obiwalter483 The glass in modern warfare breaks like old glass where a bunch of big shards break off that can cut skin while Cold War glass breaks like modern glass in how it shatters into tiny pieces that are less likely to slit open your hands yes there’s no punctuation because I’m too lazy to put it
Cold War while a good game with lots of badass takedowns the game somewhat feels cheap against MW19. I remember AW2014 back in the day blew us away with its next-gen graphics.
Modern Warfare has the mount feature, Cold War doesn't, the sniper mount speed is quicker in MW than CW and you can tactical sprint in MW but not in CW but I like both
The game isn’t really all that bad. Animations are a little eh, not a lot of attention to detail, but gameplay is pretty good. But also this game was a bit rushed, we were actually supposed to get a game by Sledgehammer but something happened that made them drop it so Treyarch had to be the one who had to bring out a game. Granted that’s no excuse but when you got a company who drops you a game date last minute and you’re working while a pandemic is going on, it’s gonna get messy and not everything is gonna be complete. Maybe as the game progresses it’ll get better. On a side note sledgehammer did help work on the campaign for this game which honestly wasn’t that bad imo.
Cold War is still a fun game and if you play the game for the fun/gameplay it's a good game and details like these yes can make the game more immersive but are not that important and with mw's colours being more realistic I still prefer cold war's colours because of the warm colour palette. I for one enjoy the game every time I play it and I think lots of the hate thrown at it is people hating because other people are hating, sort of a herd mentality. (all personal opinion)
They had three years, correct me if I'm wrong but that's what everyone says. It had 3 years but yeah treyarch took over sledgehammer and made it a mess.
@@bulletzzz6196 no, treyarch took over because it was a mess in the first place (very little staff at Sledgehammer at the time, etc.). Trust me, BOCW is the best result that could've come out of that ordeal
Cold War looks more realistic and has a more polished feel But MW has a huge amount of detail in gun mechanics, reload animations, and other things like that You can actually see a small puff of smoke secrete from the guns you shoot That's commitment
@@pakkemandnoah1611 You see, COD has never been a realistic shooting game and MW has now set the new cod fans up for disappointment. If you want something more real go to battlefield that’s how this has always worked.
@@pakkemandnoah1611 Actually it is, you just have to “get gud”. I’ve played battlefield now for about 13 or so years and at times it’s more chaotic and fast paced than COD. To me modern warfare 2019 feels like a knockoff battlefield, it’s not bad by any means it’s just copying a formula that’s been done for years.
1:48 That ring when he goes through the metal detector is the same noise they originally put in infinite warfare. I mean infinity ward DID make infinite Warfare.
Really weird how both games do some things better than the other. The explosions in BOCW are better, but in MW you leave behind footsteps and debris. The car models in BOCW are better, but they move and animation when shot at in MW etc.
1:33 -> I remember how I used to hate and at the same time like all these dust / smoke effects, during a mass-shootout in MW - I got quickly sniped-off, but still loved to try to make-out something within all of that smoke xD
i feel like that was kind of the point, it’s the 80’s which is usually referred to as the birthplace of modern technology so it’s gonna look kind of vintage almost
If yall gonna say "Oh Cold War was made in less than 2 years, the devs doesn't have enough time to polish the graphics and animation". Just remember that Halo 2 was made in 10 months and almost got cancelled
I would rather wait 5 years for a good game like DOOM 2016 then 2 years for this shit. When will companies stop rushing releases. Cyberpunk 2077 gave me a big lesson.
@@arghyamukhopadhyay8482 seriously man the games potential was sooo good but the rushed the process and now they are in loses after all like if you know the game is unplayable then why realese in in the first half?

Both of games looks stunning I wish I had a gaming pc with good internet to play one of those gorgeous games! The first time when I fell in love with call of duty was when I played black ops 1 in ps3, but then I forced my dad to upgrade to ps4 and now I don't get games because they're a bit expensive and online due to ps+😔
For some reason modern downgraded their ammunition details so the amount u shoot doesn’t get changed with the bullets so props to infinity ward. And also u can have ur opinions on Cold War but it got WAY less time to make and with what they made u gotta give them credit and sad how it’s better than Bo4 too when it got the same time as modern
What system was this played on? Modern warfare looks a lot lower resolution, particularly textures. Lighting definitely looks better in black ops too. CW looks a good bit better IMO.
Cold War is the old school approach at the same thing, Cold War era, of course MW is the new school and modern approach at the same thing, 2019 of course Both are good within their timelines and aspects… Vanguard is what you call “below trash” (Campaign was ok) remove gunsmith completely from vanguard, and it will be great, some attention to historical accuracy is definitely needed. Infinite warfare was cool, cool guns, maps, mechanics, sound design, but hated solely because of the terrible release date.
Guys keep in mind that Modern Warfare (2019) Team had more time to develop their game and covid-19 wasn’t a thing back then but Cold War (2020) Team had less time to develop their game and Covid-19 was a problem as well
I like MW’s attention to detail way more than Cold War Imo I feel Cold War was lazily quickly put together in the multiplayer and campaign department but had some pretty good detail in the zombies section That’s why I like infinity ward more than treyarch
@@anomalydetainmentagency Oh yeah I won’t fault it’s quality the animation was spot on and almost like a live action movie Just usually they put more time into making it longer
I would say desperately put together rather than lazily because Treyarch was given little room to work with because they took over for Sledgehammer. Infinity Ward had the luxury of the full 3 year cycle which is why it's very polished.
@@raymondpratt3055 MW dominates over Cold War, but I'm impressed on how Treyarch managed to finish a game with only 2 years of development and during a pandemic.
@@raymondpratt3055 Agree with ya on not releasing Cold War. Should of instead kept updating mw and keep on improving Cold War, but you know how greedy Activision is.
@@allblackedout3578 yeah, i agree with you, infinity ward is the best cod developer, i mean they started the franchise so they are awesome, way better than Treyarch, treyarch after Black ops 2 has been trash
Its obvious, the people saying CW looks better us bc there are some kind of fanboys, i think is obvious that MW its better in almost every aspect, graphics, sound, detail, physics, etc, maybe CW its funny to play, but here we are not comparing gameplay, we are comparing the technical aspects of the game, and in everyone MW its better, there are people saying that is bc CW gets earlier, but that its not an excuse, the game can be delayed, nothing happens, that will be even better, but the company is so greedy and try to launch a "new" game every year, wherever its complete or not, i think this is bad, i am against annual games, like CODS, Assasins Creed, Sports, etc.
I think both are good. The only problems I have with Cold War is the inconsistent lighting quality within the campaign and some maps. The 3 lane map design isn't very subtle in Cold War and sometimes barely provides variety probably due to the fact that some of these layouts were originally for Sledgehammer's COD, Modern Warfare does a better Job here. Sound design isn't as beefy but an interesting art direction which kind of aims to what people think guns sound like but compared to Modern Warfare's realistic sounds, I think Modern Warfare wins. Animations in Cold War look neat but I prefer how the gun animation's are in Modern Warfare cause it shows a bit more of the weight and strength of a gun. Modern Warfare's campaign is a lot longer than Cold War but Cold War's campaign is still interesting. As for the things Cold War did good are the explosion and water effects, smoke is realistic but looks like one plain color. The gun models and character models are as good as they are in Modern Warfare but there are smaller details that Cold War manages to capture like stitching, as for environmental texturing, etc.. both Cold War and Modern Warfare have good quality textures. As for gameplay, it's all up to your preferences. The addition of Dirty Bomb and VIP was interesting, but it can be found boring to some people and there are returning modes, items, etc.. from previous games, but so far Cold War is lacking content when it comes to amounts of maps and weapons, even operators (Also like I said earlier the length of the Campaign is short, still an interesting one.) Cold War did it's best to catch up to Modern Warfare compared to majority of previous Treyarch games, especially since it was only developed in 2 years using some assets by Sledgehammer and also being developed in the middle of a global pandemic, although I wish Activision just gave Treyarch more time to make a cross-gen game that can still look like a next-gen game for Consoles and PCs. Infinity Ward really made something that could hold up and still compete against future titles and I'm interested to see how good or bad COD 2021 will be.
@@thebroschannel cold war is so bad 🤣 the attachments are a copy and paste for every gun all unlocked the same level for every gun. At least MW has unique attachments for mostly all guns

Treyarch didn’t have a lot of time to develop Cold War. And on top of that, they had to work from home so they had limited resources too. It should’ve been sledgehammers year but Cold War was a rushed product. If the game was delayed later it would’ve been so much better.
There’s just one thing that BoCW does have that MW2019 doesn’t and it’s the Storage Capacity. MW2019 is really big at almost 200GB while BoCW is just half the capacity of 100GB. I was mad at MW2019 because this game forced me to delete one of my favorite games to make room for this fat game. I don’t like to install again my games because it’s an endless cycle and I just wanted to play my game and another.

The reason why the mw guns and grenades sound better is because the higher frequencies are turned up and it’s less muffled so it’s pierced your ear. In Cold War they muffled everything and made it sound softer
Im perfectly fine with cold war not having tiny details like tires popping because normal gameplay is like double the speed of modern warfare, modern warfare is reaallly slow paced so small details are far more noticeable
