Will Smith (despite his personal history) is an excellent artistic choice for the franchise. He embodies all of the strength, height, appearance and charisma that this continuing story needs. He should have been in the second movie, in my opinion. Remember - Will is an ACTOR - NOT A SAINT. Put aside the slap and see him for the good actor he has become.

There are new upcoming ACTORS that deserve their time. WAKANDA has recognition, has box office strength, and it doesn't need him. WAKANDA was about integrity, character, and love for its people. All wonderful characteristics that are teachable to our Black children. Will Smith does NOT exemplify that and HIS personal characteristics prove that... on set and off.

It would seem the “intentional” slap on Chris Rock was the requisite condition needed to paint Will Smith as evil | He departed other categories in kind from cool to comedic to bad to emotional to psycho to now evil | You have to give the guy credit for constantly overcoming adversity and becoming this SUPER VERSATILE actor that can almost do it all | If he finds a genius script for a scary flick I might be enticed to show up

Don't agree with this. Forgiveness is what Jesus Christ commands us to do, however, the HEART must be rooted in God. Not to appease society, but to live for God's Word. Will Smith's character isn't worthy of our children dreams. Wakanda was built from Chadwick and let's not let others "taint" HIS LEGACY to film.
