@@CuTTyRanKx Grammy, Oscar, Emmy, hell …. through in a Tony too! Lol if the movie anything like the trailer, they’ll really do Chadwick Boseman’s legacy justice! Wakanda Forever! RIP
Namor was 1939, a few years before Aquaman. He's one of Marvel's oldest characters and also he's technically the first mutant to be written in Marvel comics. So the slow drip of mutants into the MCU continues.
@@skychieftain That's a crazy fact, I did not know about this. He would also be the first anti-hero. Even though he's been made obscure, he's a very important character in comic history.
I love that the moment you see Riri Williams is when Kendrick comes in with the "we gonna be alright". This moving is processing both fictional and real life grief. We are watching these characters grieve for the loss of their king while we all grieve the loss of a real life king. But we have so many amazing people who were beside Chadwich that are still here to represent him. Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, and now Dominique Thorne. I see Chadwick in all of them and I cant not think about him when I see these beautiful people. Everything is going to be alright.
That is the most emotional trailer ever produced. What a way to honor Boseman! Angela is going to win a Oscar just for this trailer. I would like to welcome my Latino Brothers to the Universe!!!
Ps... Since Aquaman was such a big hit... Namor had to be "different" otherwise risk being compared to the DC character... but man on man... I did not see the now in hindsight, obvious choice of having kingdom vs kingdom and having Atlanteans be of Aztec/Mayan decent and dear lord do they look amazing. Hope they take advantage of the comic story this is based on and introduce Dr. Doom. I cannot wait.
I’ve watched this trailer so many times and have teared up every single time. The first movie was so beyond groundbreaking and this one looks even more impressive. Touching tribute to Chadwick and the return of MCU post infinity saga. I cannot wait for this! Glad that I’m not the only one who cried!
Being a movie fanatic, this was the most powerful and emotionally triggering trailer I’ve ever watched…I had to watch it multiple times with tears in my eyes to comprehend what I just watched…RIP Chad 🙌🏾🙏🏾
The fact you can watch this trailer 10x and still get the same effect and cry. I teared up. I felt joy. I felt pride. The BIPOC community has representation and weight in this film. That is why this is so monumental and important.
Im excited that my culture is going to be represented as well along with yalls...I was so happy seeing all the color and culture in Black Panther and now that my culture is b eing brought in with yall...feels good to be represented alongside of you guys. Wakanda Forever.
This is the most emotional trailer I've watched in my 43 years of existence in this lifetime! Kinda highlights Chadwick Boseman as one of the most impactful actors that ever lived. He represented the continent of Africa well and changed the Hollywood narrative for the black race. Now, when one goes overseas, no longer are you seen as someone from a backward background but one from the mightiest of people on Earth. Now, that is powerful! It is even more emotional as one is subconsciously aware that Chadwick is no more. This is his screen legacy living on! I saw Black Panther twice at the movies and about 10 times after I bought the DVD. I'll probably see this one 3 to 5 times at the movies. RIP Chadwick.
Y’all, your reaction was so moving I teared up with you. It’s so powerful this movie is going to be a hit; even Native Latin America is being represented by the Atlanteans (Mayans) ❤️😍🤞🏽
Yes, that was a touching teaser it was moving because it paid homeage to a league Mr. Chadwick Boseman *aka* T' Challah. Also gave us insight to Wakanda and how they're mourning there King literally and figuratively. That had to be so hard to do. Bravo to everyone! WAKANDA FOREVER🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I wasn't expecting this movie to impact my mind and heart the way it has. I didn't want to watch it at first because I didn't see how it could be done without one of the most amazing character actors of our generation. Losing you was such a tragic loss and so unexpected. You held the mantle of King so well. You are and will always be our BLACK PANTHER. It was truly Admirable the love you had for GOD, his people, life, and his creation. This movie truly honored you, it was special and was masterfully done. Thank you, Ryan Koogler and the entire team that made this possible and for honoring the memory of legend so well. From the writing to the cinematography, the musical score, and the soundtrack, it was all breathtaking. Chadwick, rest in peace until we meet on that GLORIOUS DAY. #WAKANDAFOREVER #THEBLACKPANTHER
It hit me the same way, a think a combination of the music, visuals and the obvious emotion gone into the making of this really comes through, everyone felt sadness when Chadwick passed and this looks like a fitting tribute to him, cant wait to see it.
I'm glad I found a Black Reaction....this is going to big yall. Only thing more Magical than a Black man is a Black Woman. Disney is going to go Disney on Mother Nature. The mermaid/atlantian summerian for forbiden psuedu codes that they display makes me cry every time. Angela basset going out with a BANG. Respect. We Dressing up AGAIN.
brother and sister you could play that a hundred times and you are going to cry everytime!!! is the movie is as good as the trailer they will be giving a box of tissues to every single person in the theatre!!!! WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!!
It hurts because we embraced Chadwick like he was family. I remember where I was when I heard he passed. I was like 2020 can't be any worse. I can't watch this without feeling loss.
Black Panther is more than just a comic book superhero movie, it lives on a whole other archetypal and cultural level. Thats why this simple trailer has such a powerful emotional impact. Just like the Pride Lands losing Mufasa, the passing of the “Good King” leaves the heart with much to grieve and equally much to be thankful for and to aspire to
Man it hits me every time I watch it! I've never had trailer hit me like that before! This movie is going to be hard to watch and at the same time be a awesome movie! RIP Chadwick Bozeman! ✋️😎
u know when i saw the trailer reaction from the rejects, i felt like the reaction-crying is too much, (its just me) but when i watched u guys, it felt really sincere, and finally the trailer hits me and i start crying, especially on Angela Bassett's part, oh my god... she's like our mother, and i felt her. and the music..... for me its the best trailer ive seen on mcu
Wow!! A good time to read up on our Marvel Characters!! I did not know Namor was 1 of the first 3 Characters of Marvel--an underwater, sub mariner from 1939. Amazing aquatic abilities, superhuman strength, 100 years old still looking young, able to fly, fireproof & telepathic abilities. Now is the time for Marvel & DC to reproduce all those amazing comic books 📚 you cannot find in the stores. Let us learn from the beginning the hundreds of Characters and how they interacted!! And a special prayer for Chadwick who is missed by ALL as an Actor & humanitarian....💖
Wow was all I could say the first time I watched the trailer. The chills, the tears. Yep that was my reaction. It’s like Tem’s voice is opening up a portal. ‘The present and the future is ours. We gone be alright’
Watched the trailer during comic con and teared up in the car.. watched again today at home and cried because I realized Chadwick should’ve been in the movie it’s not the same but at the same time it is, his legacy will live on forever I can’t wait to watch this movie ❤️
Just for the beautiful and absurd work of ALL the others in this movie I decided after this trailer to leave my "beat" with the Shuri actress aside and go watch it with certainty that it will be one of the best movies of the year. So much new stuff just in this teaser: - The MCU's first baby birth - dating - Namor's Throne is simply the Dental Arch of a Megalodon - Riri Williams (Iron Heart) - tributes to King T'Challa
Angela Bassett makes this. If that line isn't done just right you don't feel it. Raw emotion. She becomes the character. Amazing and stunning visuals too. Coogler more than other producers focuses not just not the story line but the visuals as well.
I think for me the music carried the flood of emotions, the scenes swelled that energy, but that powerful scene of Angela Basset, just released all that. Soooooooo fucking good.
Every single reaction that I've watched for this trailer every single person immediately played it back a second time after their first reaction to it but for me I'm not on my second playthrough probably more like 25 times
I'm glad I found you guys because everybody knows me on here. I'm GRIM the world's most cold-hearted person to walk the earth. And the things I have said on here is legendary and with that said when I watch this teaser it got me like misty eyed. Like, I was shocked because that's just not me, so I watch it again and it did the same thing.... lol... I was like, what's going on, am I turning into some kind of wimp?... like this is crazy. Now I'm over here laughing at you guys because now I feel better because it broke you both down fast...lol. So, it's not just me. They did something special with this teaser like I have never seen before. It hits a nerve especially when you also start thinking about Chadwick Boseman. This has to be the most powerful teaser I have ever seen. ...............GRIM
Not sure if anybody touched on this yet, but namor is the first atlantian comic book character and he's also the first mutant to ever be in a comic before X-Men
Bob Marley’s “No Woman no Cry”, followed by Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” sandwiching Angela Basset’s powerful speech! Wow! Shuri crying the imagery, the shots whooooo! Let’s go!!!!! Black Panther represents black excellence. No one can out do Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa. He will not be recast. Shuri might be our new Black Panther.
I think this trailer is so much more…. What I felt was life was like before covid going to to the movies to Black Panther and now it is post Covid and we have lost so many people and we made it … so many people didn’t. We goin be alright #wakandaforever
Angela Bassett is such a wonderful actress and when she delivers her lines in this trailer man it always gets me teary-eyed, it's so powerful... this movie is gonna be something else can't wait to watch it in November
Ok, I'm going to make a prediction just based on this trailer alone. I think this movie is going to double what the previous Black panther movie made. Maybe even set a record. Great reaction guys!
When people say Black Panther wasn't a big deal.🙃 Legit people out here emotional over a movie about a fictional King, but we feel that on the real because the man who portrayed T'Challa was a real King in our hearts. Trust me, It means something.
I think at this point I would pay to see the behind the scenes footage because I can only imagine how hard it was to film this movie even for professionals.
Whomever is chopping onions needs to stop! 😢 Wow...just...wow. Can I buy my tickets now? I need that No Woman No Cry/Alright mashup immediately! RIH Chadwick Boseman. #WakandaForever
T'Challa's mother's speech hit me in the feels. That anger... that hopelessness in her voice. Man, that was some real powerful acting. Can't wait to see this movie.
Angela has been the top black female actress for some time now. I say black not to isolate her or diminish her talent but I say black woman because being a black woman because it means something more.
@@b.e.r.nnetwork8251 I don't watch many movies these days and I'm ashamed to admit I have only watched like three movies with this actress. But this new Black Panther trailer made me realize I definitely need more Angela Bassett in my life. This lady is totally an A-list actress and even though she's my mother's age (63)... damn is she still a dazzling woman.
@@matthagen67 another role she’s fantastic in emotionally is the Tina Turner bio pic and Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns. She has plenty movies going back to the 80’s I think but the ones I listed are a good start if you’re looking for the emotional stuff.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was in tears. The Bob Marley/Kendrick Lamar mashup hit my heartstrings super hard! Like you, I felt this movie is going to be an emotional one. All the white for the funeral/celebration of life. I started crying right there. Angela's performance of that one piece of dialog sent me over the edge. I hope I can go see this in theaters. I'm taking a pack of tissues with me. Thank you for explaining who Namor is. I had no idea but I am now looking forward to hearing his story. Thanks for your honest, emotional reaction.
@@jeangreene7565 You should read what the plot of this is loosely based on...recent comics... start with "Rise of the Black Panther #2"... Im sure its on digital.
I’m a grown 22 year old and it’s extremely rare for me to cry but seeing this trailer brings me a lot of emotion and puts a tear in my eye PROUD to see my Mexican culture on screen and R.I.P. Chadwick
I love both cultures both races. My kids are Mexican. I am black. I was moved to see such a formidable and noble badass finally represented with dignity and terrific power. KUKULKÁN!!!
I am older and I cried too.... From LA ..Blacks & Mexicans forever brothers & sisters, the same pain all the way from the beginning....Ryan Coogler = LOVE.
I really look forward to seeing it also. I assume there is conflict. But I think there is a third party that is moving things. Maybe Dr Doom. I know that's not a unique take. But it's one I have.
@@aboutthat1440 yeah I’ve heard it might be like a Batman Vs Superman thing where Wakanda and Atlantis fight in the beginning but then come together to fight a greater enemy like Dr Doom. It’s all speculation tho
@@aboutthat1440 A lot of people think that Doom wants vibranium to build his robot army, so he instigates a war between Atlantis and Wakanda to weaken them enough to steal it.
I think this is the first MCU trailer I've ever seen where reactors simply HAVE to rewatch it immediately because it just hits you SO hard in the feels. Almost every single major reaction I've seen says the exact same thing - "I'm sorry, but we gotta watch this again right now." This is probably the most beautiful, haunting, heartwrenching trailer I have seen in recent years for any movie, period.
I've watched this at least 5 times and teared up each time. The cover of "No Woman, No Cry" was the perfect choice of song for a teaser to tell us that we've lost great people like Boseman and then tell us at the end that "we gon' be alright" because his legacy will live on in the MCU and that it'll be in good hands 🖤💜
The contrast of Namor’s birth and the real life tragedy of losing Boseman really made this trailer heart breaking - you could literally feel the grief of losing someone so special in the opening of this trailer - rest in power king #WakandaForever
