thanks, very enjoyable to watch and very nice units, the cavalry have some very dynamic poses. The ideal starter type scenario for this period and I like these small table encounters. For artillery, I think the art target 1 unit and just prior to charge, the cavalry would likely use Initiative Orders. before making scenario changes, I would be tempted to run the battle a second time as scenarios with a small number of units are typically prone to swings due to lucky / unlucky runs of the dice. I have just done something similar for an ACW scenario with 6 units per side and got two very different games! Anyway, a nice run out wit the figures - thanks.
When I'm using a 6×4 foot table, I drop movement distances down to 12" for cav and 6" for infantry. A max move of 36" for cav is still a lot, but is more reasonable imho
I don't see why the British should get VP's until they reach zone 3 as being stuck in a valley under the enemy's guns isn't most people's idea of success! There should also be some Russian cavalry behind the guns to counter charge as they did on the day. Good to watch though!
