Very interesting approach to use as an incentive, and also very nice game. You gave me inspiration to do something similar as well, and I will follow your campaign. The difference will be that I will use two set of rules, Sharp Practice for small to medium encounters and Black Powder for bigger battles. So I am looking forward for the next game. Keep up the good work. Cheers
Hi Chris, just echoing Norm's comment, very interesting to see how Black Powder Rules handle a much smaller (Skirmish) scenario. Well done! Looking forward to the next instalment. Ta👍
This just goes to show everyone that you can have fun with historical miniatures (and Napoleonics at that) with a small number of figures! Huzzah. Nice (meaning creative) use of the Black Powder rules on this game as well.
@@Roll-Some-Dice I am one who prefers a "smallish" game with around 5-10 units on the board per side, so building up slowly and taking your time with the painting is a great way to go.
Great battle report I love how you are using the smaller units to tell a story Could you do a close-up of your miniatures? They are absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait for the next video. Please keep up the good work you’re very inspirational.
Awesome, thanks for those generous comments Steve. I think I hold the camera at just the right distance, as you will see all the flaws if I get any closer 😂 but I am aiming to do a bit more on the painting side at some point 👍👍
Thank you, enjoyed. This just goes to show how flexible the BP rules are. I like the campaign ideas and look forward to whatever falls out of this. As an aside, I have ‘older’ ears and so find it slightly difficult to separate sounds, i.e. the music from the speech, so over time, the music starts to become a distracting nuisance to me - but that is just a personal thing, the wider audience will likely not experience that (my own view is that the video content is strong enough not to need music).
