I thought of you right away with the bat sticker!! Glad you liked it and will be using the bat notions pouch with your project. Let it go, wow, that's so timely for me too. Thank you. I love Miss Charlotte, she's almost done, wow, stunning!! Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend 🙏❤️🤗
Oh how I love catching your videos as soon as they're posted!! I almost can't click on it fast enough. Lol. I'm so looking forward to stitching the Summer Olympics! I've never heard of it before now. So Thanks so much for introducing it to me!! Can I just tell you how much I hate this horrendous heatwave? My Bra can't get ripped off fast enough at the end of the day. Lol
Hi Denise! #overthefence 😂 Your pink top is so cute as well as your pink year of the rabbit! I know exactly what you mean by staying on your rotation. I feel so tempted to jump on another event (like stitch the Olympics) but it’s hard enough to keep up my original set of goals. Good luck! 🤗💕
Your dragon is going to look fabulous on that lemonade fabric! Bra. Summer in the south is a terrible time to have to wear a bra outside. 😂 For the Silver Bells pattern, I would stitch the bells, poinsettia and cardinal as small ornaments. Maybe even some of the words because I like that font. One of my WIPS right now is a stocking pattern called Winter Scene Stocking by Kooler Design Studio. There is no way I could FFO something in the shape of a sock and make it look right! So I converted it to a rectangular shape by filling in some more trees and extending the buildings a little bit.
Hi Denise, this is a new phone for me therefore a new name. I used to be Dawn B. You are the first flosstuber I am watching!!Yay!!! My favorite design look is steam punk. My granddaughter loves it too, so we craft together. I finished my Sushi cat several months ago but had no way to send you a picture. It is only finished, not ff. Love that rabbit. Hugs to you!
I just love coming back to your videos every time you post, your personality is magnetic! Oh man, I'm adding Rosena to my wish list now!! thank you for sharing your art! What's your favorite time of day to stitch? Mine is definitely in the morning, before work, which means pre bra! 🤣
I have seen samplers stitched by black girls on display at the MESDA museum in Old Salem and the museum in Colonial Williamsburg. I don’t know why museums own and don’t reproduce or publish their samplers. I have asked a lot of questions at museums and no one knows the answer!
Thank you so much, Susan! I have pulled up the website for MESDA and I'm sure I'll be down in this rabbit hole for awhile! At this moment, I am even contemplating a visit! 💝
Yay! I can’t wait to see what fabric you choose for the stream punk clock! Thanks for the wonderful shoutout ❤ I’m just loving your finish of the year of the rabbit, congrats on that amazing finish! 🎉 Have an amazing couple weeks!
Hi Denise! I love the pink bunny on the yellow fabric! The biscornu will look pretty on the Grace Notes fabric. It will look pretty. You are so enjoyable to watch! I should get back to quilting. I watch flosstube on my TV. And have my phone nearby, but paused. I leave comments there, on my phone, while I watch it on tv. Wishing you a Happy Fourth of July too ❤ I'm participating in Stitching Olympics with my Embroidery Guild. I'm choosing one of my WIP's to stitch on. Maybe an hour each day. Have a wonderful week 🌷
Adorable bunny finish! I wonder if that Halloween freebie is still available. It's so cute! So exciting that your mira is so close to a finish!. Does the chart for Rosena Disery provide any history about her cause that would be so interesting to read. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much! I did take a quick at the Durene Jones Facebook Group and I don't see it listed! However, there are so many more good ones! Yes, the Rosena Disery chart does provide the history and it's fascinating! 💝
Happy you were able to use some of the Vicki Clayton mystery silk on the rabbit. Your dragon biscornu will be beautiful on the yellow fabric. For the one on black, if you find a red aida in the correct count, you could stitch the second side in black on red fabric. You don't need much of a margin for the biscornu pieces. They usually get trimmed to 1/4" or 1/2" when you sew them together. Happy stitching, my friend and glad you are back to the stitching rotation that makes you happiest!
Thank you so much, Gaby! I will share the conversion in the next video! I have posted it in the description box one of my previous videos, I'm just not sure which one! 💝
