One of the first tunes I learned on bass as well! This song is so heavy, you can't upload it, only download it. It is so heavy it has it's own gravitational pull and even black holes cannot escape it.

This is a song about people escaping a devastated earth . A planet that humans have finally destroyed, with wars, pollution, hate, religion. Into the void is simply into space away from the madness. I'll leave my known request here so you guys don't forget haha #painintheask Okay so I think by the Angra reactions you guys made now you have an idea of how they sounded with their first singer André Matos, now we can go to the second phase of Angra with their second vocalist Edu Falaschi, my recommendations would be The Shadow Hunter(from their 5th album, second with Edu, Temple of Shadows, from 2004) and Nova Era from the first album with Edu, Rebirth, 2001.

@EC66OK

I didn't really discover most of the old Sabbath until after Blizzard of Ozz and Heaven and Hell; though I had older siblings that played these records all of the time when I was younger. When I was about 15 (b in '66, so about 81-82) and living in a small town with very little to do, my buddy Kevin had every album known to man, a pool table and the best weed in town. It was quite an education. I remember hearing Supertzar for the 1st time like it was yesterday. Talk about peaking at the right time. I had a rush like you wouldn't believe for the entire song. Early Sabbath was almost like "fusion", though not the fusion we generally think of by that term. Bill Ward was a jazz drummer, and Geezer could meander through complex lines with the best of them. Add in Tony's iconic, de-tuned riffing and Ozzy's haunted vocals and their sound was entirely unique. The Dio years were another thing altogether, and also singularly glorious in their own right. It's almost as if there are 2 or 3 Black Sabbath's, between Ozzy, Dio and the post-Dio projects (where there are some really excellent songs). Born Again w/Ian Gillan is a good album too, which suffers more from lackluster production than anything else, imo.
