3:00 that's THE bassline. Toni and Ozzy get lots of praise but Geezer is down in you gut, right there. And Bill drops the drums to that tight quick paced rumble. Theses guys are amazing.
There will come a day .when drug dealers will be shot on site.mexico your warned.the righteous hand is waking up.death to you.is the warrant. Border control is lacking.we won't. Will fight both of you.on our side and yours.
Black Sabbath is one of the most influential bands of all time they certainly played a big part in my life growing up that's the reason i started playing the drums
I hear that. Yeah, Bill Ward is the shit. If someone said Bonham, Keith Moon, or Bill is why they picked up drums I'd get it. War Pigs is what got me into guitar. That's my favorite rock song. Rhythm is big in music. If it doesnt sound really good the song is boring. Some people play drums in a more melodic way. Like, the way they fill the spaces. They drive the whole song or the song doesn't work. The Beatles didn't have it. All but ten of their songs bore me. Stones had it big. Grateful Dead, Pantera
@@garywilson3042 it was recorded in some haunted castle (cant recall the name atm), the band couldn't come up with any material so they decided it would be a good idea to record there for inspiration
I like this song because it is heavy then it gets very melodic for black sabbath it 's just a great classic song from black sabbath. for many reasons I like this song and that bass part to.The guitar and drums and the singing it's just an all around great song by black sabbath on my top ten list!
When it starts and you first hear the main riff It's heavy as f_ck But There a faint hope and in it A twirling empathy That envelopes you With safety Strange huh Anyway Great comment Thanks
still listening in 2018 to all their music grown up around black sabbath my dad grew up around it and soo will my children grow up around this cause I aint stopping carry this on in yo generations in your family make it known
I still remember seeing a documentary about how rock n roll was progressing thru the 60's when the narrator mentioned something about how finally someone became "riff-mongers", LOL, and then he mentioned Black Sabbath. Classic! No one had a sound like these guys, and they weren't writing love songs either :-)

Nature is my church. And Rock N' Roll and Heavy Metal music is my religion ;- ) . Thank You Mother Ayahuasca !!, Endless Infinite Eternal GRATITUDE !!!
@@autisticcaroline2005 Judas Priests fantastic song titled 'Painkiller" states it perfectly. Bible-toters are By far in the most PAIN searching for a 'He" that never existed (totally proven btw) to cure it., hence why they've slayed/killed the most in history(through today) via inquisitions/crusades..And They believe in the lies of de-ath the most (hence why they need a guy who never existed to do it for them), hence why they've slayed the most, more than ALL the other Rel-igions combined, and MANY times over.. As truth is ALWAYS paradoxical. The Divine light of Rock and Metal music always told the truth !!
@@autisticcaroline2005 Hence why it requires between 25 to fifty Ayahuasca ceremonies for the average christian to ascend spiritually (infinite heavens that are everywhere that you can't connect with), and all the other hundreds of cultures it requires far less, for example it only takes just 2 to 5 Ayahuasca ceremonies for the average buddhist or hindu to ascend, heck it requires an atheist less than half it takes you, as you have BY FAR the most darkness/hatred/hells within you to face..,
@@autisticcaroline2005 ..And hence why the ppl of your Dark Re-ligion killed hun-dreds of mill-ions of tribal ppl as my wife states, as the tribes held all the truths of spirit, nature, the infinite multi-dimensional uni-verse, the infinite heavens, and the Self... ,,
Toni's guitar is incredible. His sound was unmatched. Amps were just developing the words heavy metal did not exist. 70s rock was deaf rib crunching Sabbath were so loud your eardrums would burst.
Ozzy loved singing about brains and minds. A lot. Listen to any sabbath song and the lyrics more than likely involve insanity to some degree. I love it.
As a teenager this helped in setting up my lifesblood 4 the rest of me life ! Brilliant isn't enough ozzy is still ozzy and he'll be remembered very well as the iconic frontman that wealth never changed ! He's loved the world over ,god will have his back I'm certain !
