This deck could have been so good but it is so disjointed to me. I have all this creators other decks but unfortunately this one I won't be buying. There a some beautiful cards but i dislike more than I like. Thank you for the walkthrough 💚
Well! It happened and I am blaming u! It rarely happens but I went and bought this deck before the video was over. So excited, can't wait to get it. Thanks.
This could have been one of my favorite decks but I agree with the general sentiment that the mix of anthropomorphic animals and those in their natural form is very jarring. I was going to be forgiving but that Sphinx was the last straw😢
I received mine in the mail yesterday. And I absolutely love it! I do agree with the comments about the anthropomorphic animals versus regular animals doing regular animal things, but for me, it did not ruin the deck at all. I am totally in love with this deck! I specifically got it to pair with her other Oracle decks. And when I did my pairings, they were a perfect match for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Well, right away the rabbit magician was like on two legs, in clothes and was making a coffee, but that didn't seem to bother you :D (I guess it's because with the rabbit there was only his bust, those full body clothed meerkats after pair of real turtles was quite a shock indeed :D. (on the other hand, once you use the deck, the cards won't be in the order and one draws only few cards usually (or just one) so won't look weird when they won't be next to each other? Maybe even if they ended up next to each other?) If I remember well the White sage tarot has chakra assignments too (I don't have the deck, I just saw it on people's channels)
It made a little more sense in the beginning, because it's an Alice in Wonderland reference. Flash forward and no other references, but random anthropomorphic characters along with regular animals. I think if one style had been chosen it would have been better.
In the guidebook, Theresa Hutch explains that there is some inspiration taken from Beatrix Potter and her use of mixing anthropomorphic animals with animals as you would find them in nature. And that bunny in the overalls is screaming Mr.McGregor’s garden to me!!
can’t wait to adopt this one! ❤it’s taking its time being available in Canada🥲 also secretly wish it was available in a tin like the white sage🤍🌿 maybe eventually!
