Very nice presentation. I just discovered these beauties just south of Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico...Lots of them on the beach and getting up to fly around in soaring flocks....Handsome birds. Great photos!!

Used to see them in San Diego County, California. I was wondering if you were going to show them flopped on the beach resting. You did! They have such floppy flight with those long wings inches above the water. Crown Point Park on Mission Bay is a place you can see them at close range!
