I completely agree that it must be much harder to get two perfectly measured pieces together with a gap that’s even throughout. It’s probably easier to put Timascus together against the bolster, and then sand the two together and have no gaps. No gaps does not define high precision every time. Those gaps are micro measurements done well. That is a very very clean outfit for the whiplash. I am really liking the gap! And that is a perfect blade for draw cuts, and I really appreciate that you have access to that knife. Getting me into black snow customs! Thanks russel for loaning such an incredible knife to let us all see!! Sorry to comment twice! I watch over and over a couple times to digest it properly!! Too much knife to take in all at once! It’s a beauty. I would probably get a little neck sprain if I passed by and wanted to see😂👌🏼. Thanks Russell!🙏🏼 and Dr Frunkey, I think that you would get along with our good friend Jeff G. He has a plethora of customs, fully dressed, and we talk About your channel sometimes. He’s a solid man and helps Metal Complex’s channel by letting him see some stuff and is constantly switching his collection around. It may serve both of you guys well to meet !!
Whiplash like the feeling you get when you “break your neck” turning it to see a true beauty !! Breakneck and whiplash seem fitting with some lines like that. I loved the opiate as well. I’m into his work a lot. This recurved blade shape and the drop to the point are very nicely done and look like a fantastic slicer. Great review. As always !
