What I remember most about his character was the episode where they went to the town that hated him for his connection to the White Star, I believe it was. Tsubaki was facing her inner demons, and while she fought in her own head, he sat in the middle of the town, and waited. Eventually, the townspeople become brave and start hitting him with sticks. But despite the fact that they keep hitting him, that his head is pretty much a pool of blood, he doesn't retaliate against them. At least, not until they decide to also start attacking Tsubaki. That was the most powerful scene for me, how he proved he was nothing like his ancestor, and would only attack people when they threatened his friend.
Definitely was one of my favorite two episodes as well. Tsubaki and Black Star are made to be partners. They have their dramatic differences but no one can match soul wavelengths with either of them like how they can with each other🌟
The strength of black star actually COMES from his ego and arrogance. He doesn't allow himself to accept weakness or failure and in doing so he's able to push himself harder than most others can and constantly become stronger and stronger. He's like a cocky arrogant version of Goku yet behind all those bad personality qualities there's a caring and protective heart! 😇👌👌

When I started watching Soul Eater I HATED Black Star. By the end of the series I understood and liked him just as much as Soul and Death the Kid. This is how you treat a Naruto esque character.
Yea, the episode where Tsubaki gets sucked into the enchanted sword and he just stands vigilance over her while the villagers just pound on him really made me respect his character.
@@xnortheast1106 Black*Star's theme is "Never Lose my Way" Ryuko Matoi's is "Don't Lose your Way" I was reffrencing Brandon Yate's making music for Deathbattle and how he mixes words with the title (ex. Danny Phantom vs Jake Long's song was titled "American Phantom")
every time I see Black Star, especially when he's serious, I can't help but smile and get motivated. His one of the characters I look up to and is one of my absolute favorites! I'll do my best to become a warrior just like you Black Star!! NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!

Imagine a remake of Soul Eater with high quality fighting animation, better lighting, and most of all, it follows the manga. Now that Enen no Shoboutai is done (manga), I would love to see that reboot with this killer soundtrack again
Fuck you on about. Soul Eater's animation hasnt aged a bit, looks better thsn much of whats around today. Following the manga is not a good idea either seeing hos nonsensical it gets
@@crim1188 Nah we need a remake 100%. The anime making Maka defeat Asura with a punch was so bad. There are many great moments in the manga that never made it into the anime. Black Star and Mifune's final fight in the manga was top tier and the final battle against Asura was far better in the manga than in the anime.
@@hibikikyu A remake DEFINITELY needs to happen. I know they had to change the script because they had caught up to the manga, but the manga is finished now so they should give it the same treatment as Fullmetal Alchemist
He was already so cool in the anime but in the manga he shows actual growth from the dumb kid he once was. He genuinely becomes the badass he pretended to be in the first few manga. Soul also becomes a death scythe, it’s so weird that they never made him a death scythe in the anime. It’s much different in a lot of ways, and somehow even cooler than the already badass anime. Love em both although the manga is slightly better. So many years have passed and it’s still one of my favs
The manga had to figure out how to justify him NOT soloing the final villain by the end, honestly the anime kinda did too. Black star is so badass he was stealing the story from the writer.
He's gone through the most stuggle, the most defeats, yet that didn't shake him as much as the others. Things were bad, but he didn't tremble. He charged in, ready to save his friends and basically the world. And, he came out stronger. Though he have a big ego, he'll do anything when the people he cares for are in danger. So, yeah, to me, that makes him the best by far.
i loved black star since the start. he's the man that surpassed god and is the greatest fictional character of all time. his badass theme songs are icing on the cake.

I really like how he's grown up in the manga. The anime seemed to forget this, but he's actually matured a LOT in the latest chapters (and got more attractive too). I think the tipping point was his final battle with Mifune.

I love how the first part of the song mentions how much he hates Excalibur. That made my day. XD Any moment with Black Star on the screen is either really funny, totally badass, or surprisingly emotional.

Nahhh. Naruto would hold Black Star back. He's a weakling compared to Black Star. And I feel like Naruto refusing to kill his opponents would clash with Black Star's ideology since Black Star is a assassin who is absolutely willing to kill every opponent he fights. Black Star also becomes calmer and smarter after the timeskip in the manga, so he would be annoyed by Naruto just like he is annoyed by Excalibur.
