Hey jason! I am using a Perception 220 Mic... The pedal I am using is a Boss RC-300 and it has phantom power (there is a little switch to turn it on and off on the back) maybe that is the issue you are having? Some of the recording mics require phantom. Hope that helps man! - LUKE
