I know you should see the look on people's faces when you tell them the only thing about the blues that came from Africa is the call and response vocal. When you tell them the chord structures and melodic structures are European, and the 4/4 is native American, it unwraps the traditional mainstream dogma that is used for social race politics, and that triggers people even though the facts themselves aren't controversial. She literally proved the point that black people see education as a white thing by admitting that other black people would say she's acting white for having her nose in books. It's not a "whiteness" thing, it's a lack of respect for education thing, which black communities used to have back in the day which is what led to the myriad of successful black people in history, even during times of Jim Crowe. Places like black wall street for example.
