this is absolutely stunning i am in tears. i haven’t been moved like this by a piece of choreography other than bts’ in a long time & this performance took my breath away. the emotion the poise the execution of this entire piece is absolutely incredible and i am so grateful and so happy and so emotional !!! i hope bts see this i really do i think they’d be even more affected than i. thank you so much for sharing this. thank you to all the dancers and everyone involved. you’ve given us something truly magnificent 💜💜💜
Thank you. I am so glad you liked it. I wanted BTS to know that they are respected as artists here in the heart of USA. It was a joy to choreograph. BTS's Black Swan is a gorgeous piece of music. I tried to incorporate BTS Black Swan MV choreography, musicality, phrasing, formations along with some nods to Swan Lake. I love art inspired by art, art supporting art.

I wish bh/bts included this orchestral version in their album & streaming platforms. Honestly, ON & BLACK SWAN would have been stronger contenders. It's quite a wonder how MOTS: 7 got snubbed in the grammys. If grammys was gonna nominate bts, they should have let bts compete at their strongest through MOTS: 7.

As a classical dancer and BTS fan, I am very fullfilled by your project and vidéo. I danced for 20 years as a hobby, I do theatre since 15 years and I used to be on stage every month. Your final statement hit me. And the last shot had me dead. Thank you it was cathartic
As a proud ARMY And as a musical theatre performer myself, black swan hit me very hard when it was released. As much as there are a lot of issues to face during a pandemic, not being able to return to a stage; the place you’ve learnt to to set your heart free, feels much more burdensome in ways. The reason I’ve always related greatly to BTS each time they’ve said how much they miss their concerts, although we’re from 2 very different worlds is because for a performer, the only place you get to live is on a stage. Not being able to feel the emotion from the audience feels as depressing as being stuck at home without any outside contact. I’m sorry for the rant, it was amazing and I cried since I felt it so much

I have been dancing ballet since I was 3 years old and when I first heard Black Swan it was a dream of mine to dance and make a choreography for it, but because of the pandemic I wasn't able. Seeing this brings me so much joy, I'm really mesmerized, full of passion by just watching. What a beautiful work of art, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart :)

This brought me to tears. The choreography and sublime execution. I can't ignore the fact that you were so cognizant of your staging, using the highways as opposing forces as well as the light/dark. Plus the indoor area also used themes of light and dark. This entire production from start to finish, with the group dance as well as solos is beyond breathtaking. I can't imagine how hard it is as an artist during these times, and you all still showed such dedicated down to the smallest detail to honor both the song as well as ballet. I don't have the words to express how much I loved this. As a side note, after BTS was not only snubbed but outright USED by the Grammys last Sunday after literal years of outselling/outperforming their western peers, it's been so disheartening. This was a reminder that music is their legacy. I am so, so grateful for this in ways I can't explain. Thank you. Truly, thank you. 💜
Thank you for you kind words. BTS will endure, will be remembered for their artistry, regardless of the results from this past weekend. I selected the filming locations based on both the Black Swan Art Film, and BTS Black Swan music video. Small budget, global pandemic, ice storms, imperfect dance surfaces for pointe - we endured worked hard to produce a piece of choreography that was worthy of BTS Black Swan.

I clicked because of BTS but I stayed because of the wonderful performance. They moved elegantly and showed a beautiful dance. I usually don't watch these types of performances but the way they executed their routines and gracefully danced to the music amazed me that I really focused on it and watched it 'till the end. I'm thankful to experience different art forms through BTS, and this is one of those masterpieces. Thank you for this.
I wasn't able to dance for 5 yrs now because of an injury it's the same time BTS's music came to my RU-vid feed. Having to see both in one video inspires me, I do hope performers can go back to stage soon.

this is so stunning, and moving. I'm not someone who does any type of art or who performs on stage but i used to be one in a million in audiences watching and applauding. let's hope for a brighter future
bueno no se si me entiendan o si se tomen el tiempo de pasar este texto al traductor, pero bueno, esa coreografía, sinceramente te transmite sentimientos, yo no bailo, aunque me gustaría bailar ballet, pero se que el ballet o cualquier tipo de danza, no es solo un arte, si no una forma de comunicación ya que te transmite sentimientos, y me parece muy curioso que es la primera ves que veo una coreografía que transmite sentimientos, en mi ciudad hay academias que suben también sus coreografías, pero no se ve el entusiasmo de las bailarinas (claro tienen el cubrebocas, lo que hace que se limiten las expresiones faciales), pero todo se transmite mediante los movimientos(corríjanme si me equivoco) en conclusión: Me gusto mucho lo que hicieron, ya que demuestra que si haces lo que te gusta, te adaptas a cualquier cosa.
I danced ballet for 14 years and when I tell you I CRIED watching you all perform. This was stunning and truly brought out the emotion of this incredible song. Thank you for mixing two of my worlds: BTS and ballet 💜
