I bought a te27 earlier this year as well, not as clean as this one but i got it for a pretty good deal and its kept me busy building it all summer. I also have an AE86 (since early 2000s) - cool to see that I'm not the only one!
My first car was a KE20 - It had been in the family since it was 1 yr old. Funny looking at it now as it was only ~20 years old at the time, which is about the age of the cars i currently drive (m35 stagea & dw demio). Gotta love that carby smell
The SPCAT (Society for the protection against Cruelty to Antique Toyotas) has just granted you a lifetime membership,. a fellowship program and honorary mention in the form of ' *2022 - Rivitation aka White Rob* added to their 'Greatest Humans' list'. Congrats Man. Shes a beauty!
Thats a nice TE rob, 100 percent with you on the seats and wheel, some bride histrix seats and a classic nardi would be the proper job or even a oem passenger seat and a bride brix for the driver. Wheels and stance are spot on though
What a beauty! Having 33yr old cars myself, you definitely learn to not be too fussy with some things, just need to consider the age and what the car hhas actually been through. Definitely looks quite the solid base from the vid! I might have missed it, but is the idea it'll be your car for a while or just one to sell for work?
Yeah man definitely, all the bits of rust and worn areas are definitely more understandable given the age! Who knows what will happen in life, especially Japan life, haha. But I'll do my best to keep this one
@@slpery86 And even with that, rust can always be fixed/cured. It's a shame a lot of cars porbably get pushed aside once someone sees some rust. Yeah fair comment. Atleast you can enjoy and create some memories of it that you can look back on if worst comes to worst.
Hi, I have been looking on and off through importers here in Australia for the last 3-4 years. Would you mind telling me if you are living there? Are you sourcing it for yourself? And what sort of money did you spend? Cheers for making the video
